One thing i learned as a kid is that the internet lies. As far as i can tell people are assuming he has an abusive dad. How do we know if the kid didn't just go rage after losing in fortnite? Now he sells cheats for it lol.
100% what i thought happened, Kid broke his system in a rage and simply lied without ways to get proof. easy bait in 2023 apparently
exactly, how do we know in the first place that his dad is abusive? and him selling cheat doesn't make it better
I doubt that. Besides, kids who usually come from abusive homes usually get involved in shady stuff at young ages to get out
I'd just find some really old computer and smash it up and then cut some onions with my child so he can cry as he records the mess. Easy free computer.
Maybe they found out he was cheating and banned his account and he threw a tantrum and destroyed it himself XD
I’m so bitter and jaded by humanity at this point that I would fully believe the kid destroyed his own pc or made it look that way with old parts just to get sympathy points online.
My thoughts too. That or the dad said take out the trash and the kids said fuck you, am play minecraft (something like that).
Bro where you been? Humanities been doing stuff like that for thousands of years. Not the exact same thing but similar. As for being bitter and jaded. Why? It's pointless. Just focus on yourself and those around you.
@@ltp7641 Pretty much. I don't see much reason in getting negative about it. Humanity isn't a hivemind or collective. And this ain't nothing compared to stuff that has been happening since well... forever. People have been faking stuff for attention since hundreds of years ago. This ain't nothin new.
@@rettbull9100Exactly, we don't know the full story, and the dad could just have been disciplining his child like any parent should (albeit maybe took it a bit too far but is otherwise a good parent). Kids claim their parents are abusive when they get disciplined all the time, which makes real abuse harder to pick up on.
Kid is obviously an opportunist and quite possibly a grifter considering he sells cheats that probably don't even work.
@@ltp7641 I agree. People can be good or bad, and getting bitter and jaded ain't worth anything. Being online a lot tends to have that effect though because of how easy it is to see and hear about the worst of humanity and how it's often magnified. There's also a lot of good out there, but for some reason, people hyper-focus on the bad and complain even though they don't have to watch it or focus on it. One of the best things I did was stop focusing on the negative because it's pointless.
Damn the father was right all this time, he smashed that kids PC setup because the kid was using cheats against him in fortnite.
@@courtingdeath3364 It was a joke, in 99.9% of such cases the kid destroyed the setup and blamed his parents for it.
His father was an Epic Games employee.
I mean if I was good enough at reverse engineering and programming to make undetectable cheats for Fortnite (or any other game), I sure as hell would sell them all day every day.
His father knew winning by cheating is dishonest and it darkens the moral. RESPECT!

we've entered the editor rebellion arc and im here for it
Editors are being dumb asses on this one. We do not know the context, but since he is already doing illegal stuff on the internet, maybe he lied for cloud and got a new PC as a bonus? You can't even be independent until a certain age, even if you have the money in most countries.
its the heel turn arc
Its better not to comment on something you dont know the real version of. That kid could be a lazy slob and he deserves it, or that kid's parents could be toxic and abusive. 2 sides to the story and when you dont have a clear conclusion you cant say anything about the case of which side you support.
Absolutely 💯 true.
Dude you'd have to have done some fucked shit to justify smashing your computer. That is still abusive and super fucked up under most rational circumstances, even if the kid ended up just being lazy or whatever.
to be fair, he could be abusive to his parents
whatever the case may be, he is selling cheats in an online pvp game which is bullshit and his new PC deserves to be destroyed too
That might be true. But why do some violent twisted, highly unintelligent thing? Instead just take it away and sell it. Clearly if the parent busted it up, they got issues themselves.
His father was unfairly maligned for doing a good deed.
He did not have to destroy something that works perfectly fine that he also paid for.
@@thanatos4610 He didn't but it's his house, his prerogative.
@@CatfishBradley Hope he doesn't get surprised when he goes to the nursing home

If the dad is as abusive as claimed then the second pc would never last to the point the kid is making money.
I don't think you understand how abusive people work. They don't abuse/beat on you 24/7. They often relieve their own anger and mental problems out on you randomly.
In fact, sometimes they can act normal and nice to the point it lures you into thinking everything is fine, then they 180 and beat you as fast as they complimented you.
Abusers often spend years mentally wearing down the person they're with before escalating it to physical interactions. By that point, the victim believed they deserve it.
I'm not saying thats what happened in this situation, but as someome who lived with an abuser, I can say he occasionally broke and destroyed things. He also sold my consoles several times.
It was always random, sometimes months to a year inbetween. It would eventually happen though.
@@Zwei22 First of all, all people are different. Some abusive people beating their family every fkin day, or every second day, or every week, or every time they have their drugs/booze or cant have their drugs/booze, or literally for any other schedule for any other reason.
On top of that, even if its the case and that was just a rare ocassion. Then what? PC will not be crushed immidiately but can stand about a month or two?.. I dont get a point at all. Its clear that new PC is not a solution at the best, and enhancing core problem at the worst.
I mean, realistically brand new PC is a thing that prevents kids to have money, not what make em to make more. There are some other examples but you cant expect them to happen out of a sudden.
@Zwei22 and the funny thing is that there is 0 evidence of it except some images of pc parts on the ground, wow
@@sinner5452 Yes, you are right, they are different. So the idea that the new PC would break immediately is far fetched.
However putting that aside, if he gets even 10 customers, thats 1000+ dollars which is more then enough to do something.
Even if the solution is not another PC, the idea that there is no abuse because of OP's logic is just, well, lacking in insight. Abuse more often then not isn't what you stated.
That's how movies like to depict it, but it really isn't like that most of the time. Dad just doesn't come home pissed off every single day looking for someone to beat.
It's like suppressors, everyone believes it makes a gun completely quiet, but the gun is still fairly loud. It just dials it down so the sound doesn't shatter your eardrums. I mean some lower caliber guns are close to vision of movie suppressors but no where near silent.
Movies distort reality is my point.
@@xLuis89x You are right but, realistically, you can't logically capture abuse unless you set up hidden cameras or record the perp doing it to someone else.
If there was an instance where the father was angry and he tried recording. You can bet your ass he'll destroy the phone and deliver and ass whooping as well.
The kid could just be a spoiled kid for all we know. I just don't like OP's statement on abuse and how he makes it seem so black and white. Either your dad gets angry every day or you're not abused.
So, the "dad" had a reason after all.. 👌🏻

Plot twist. The kid was breaking federal law on the first computer and the parent was trying to protect them by destroying the evidence.
Moments like this makes me think if helping others is a good idea.
People who are weak or poor are not necessarily good hearted, chances are if they were rich and powerful they would be despicable tyrants but their limited ressources is what makes them act like vulnerable angels to garner support and sympathy, when in fact they can be anything and that includes the most vile type of humans you could ever come across.
problem is that things goes in genes, so if someone is prone to violence, then children will probably be too, there are so many unknowns when helping someone you don't know, you have no idea if that kid haven't destroyed that pc because his previous cheat gig failed
it's the same with animal rescue causes etc, many keep animals, don't care that much, volunteers take care of them and they just need to look good on camera by taking it from "oppresive" people and keep disfigured animal as banner of what people cruelty can do... getting animal from them is tons of paperwork and they will check every part of your life to prevent you from getting that animal and will surveil you from time to time, and finally it's easier and cheaper to go and take young animal without any mental scars and traumas
whenever you give money to fundations you have no idea who that money will go to, from what i learned in life almost all children with disabilites have some asshole parent or/and grandparent (4 out of 5), it's like karma going back, and by donating you could have cured next bobby cocktick
There was a homeless guy eating out of a trash can once so me and my friend felt bad and bought him a sandwich. He refused it…we were stunned. Now I just hate all people.
I used to volunteer to help the homeless, sad to say I don't do that anymore after two different attempts to steal my car that I love. I still try to do some other stuff when I can but I don't interact with the actual people now.

It’s power that changes you nearly as a whole person. Like the ring in LOTR.
Only few can resist the taint while given great power.
In this case money and being rich.
It’s not like the kid got the computer and signed a contract that made him obligated not to sell cheats or anything.
The only proof that it was the kid's dad who smashed up his PC was from the short Tweeted video. For all we know he did it himself in a fit of rage. Kid is not only a cheater himself but sells the cheats he uses. I feel zero sympathy for him. If it really was his dad maybe dad should consider round 2.
There's no proof that the PC was even smashed to begin with. I see a keyboard, a headset and a monitor. The kid claimed all he could save was his 1080TI so it's a tower PC but there's no tower in the wreckage. Kid smashed up his old shit and passed it off as if it was his whole set up.
step 1: smash some equipment you bought with a little money on the side
step 2: get a philantropist to replace you equipment by building a social media ruse
step 3: use the ill gotten empire you build to expand your hustle
Step 4, some enraged brain damaged guy swats you for cheating / selling cheat and you get shot while opening the door.
Assumption is a nasty habit, for all we know the kid destroyed it himself or something else entirely happened, important to always know both sides before making a decision on anything.
Kids don't destroy their entire setup like that. They might rage smash a keyboard, but not every single piece.
@@Onigucci They do though, Ive seen kids destroying their setup/device/phones just cause their parent won't buy them a higher spec ones, some of them even have parents that could not afford those luxuries on buying low end specs and kids still being a**hole

every memory adress of a game is accessible with a cheat engine, there's no real way to secure your game. yes you can obfuscate function calls and values. but someone smart enough can always get around it. keeping data on the server is the safest. but a game like fortnite still needs to tell your PC or console where the enemy players are, otherwise the game wouldn't be able to render them... hence why anti cheating measures can only do so much. there's always a way around. it's not a matter of developers not caring enough. on the contrary, a lack of cheats means that the cheaters don't care enough.
Every popular multiplayer game has cheats available for it, so this idea that "nobody should be playing them" is pretty wild.
Also extremely likely that this kid didn't do any development and is simply reselling what somebody else created with a markup.
Today's Fact: In 2021, researchers found evidence of a mysterious particle that seems to defy the laws of physics, possibly pointing to a new type of force in the universe.

Rare editor L. There's no evidence of the kid being physically abused. The dad smashing the electronics he bought for the kid is not "abuse" in any definition of the word. Gaming was probably consuming the kid's life and dad did him a favor.
So many blatant assumptions and bias based on what you want the situation to be. “The dad isn’t abusive, he’s a liar” will be all you want to see, so it is the only perspective you will see. If the kid wanted attention there are other ways of going about it (imo)
@@xaijeistouAssumptions on what I want the situation to be? This is clearly the picture the kid wanted to paint for the world to see. Whether it's real or fake is the actual question.
What's stopping him from choosing other options in order to put up restrictions? If you have to resort to breaking your kid's stuff instead of finding other ways to handle the situation, then that already tells me you're not doing your job well as a parent.
I mean:
-The dad smashing the electronics (how do we know its the dad or not)
-Gaming was probably consuming the kids life ( how do we know he's addicted to gaming or not)

If the whole dad thing IS true, its just sad the kid turned out what you'd expect out of someone with no tangible role model in their life.
Is there more to the "dad" story aside of him destroying his own belonging, because I'm sure the kid did not buy the PC? I took away smartphones from my daughters because they were living life on the screens, am I an abusive mother too? Some times you just have to punish your kids when they mess up or don't listen instead of constantly rewarding them while they do the opposite things you told them to do. The dad might have overreacted by destroying the PC, but is there more, does he abuse his kid or was this it, because if it was just the destruction of the PC I can see the dad at the end of the ropes with his kid.
Maybe the kid was glued to the screen all day all night, failed school and house chores. I won't judge the guy badly for destroying something he most likely bought, if it did negatively impact his son's life. We know verylittle about the story presented here.

There is no good reason to smack it possibly hurting yourself in the process like my momma did all those years ago but sometimes your emotions get the better of you.
Nah, taking it away or even getting rid of it makes sense. Destroying it in front of your kids does not. You are doing it to hurt them. Regardless of what "foresight" you were trying to implement. That's a red flag sir.
@@thedurtylemur2282 and then you're just wasting money. literally could have sold it to another child who would've loved to have one or deserved it more
So we can justify crimes becuase that person is having a crime commited against them... guys this isnt how it works lol.
Two wrongs dont make it right.
We have literally no proof of abuse here at all nor of how old this kid is. All we know he could be 25 still living with his parents and smashed his own setup because he raged after losing a game of Fortnite. That would also explain as to why he is selling cheats to the game now.
Is the kid's father _actually_ abusive, or was he just breaking the little sh!t's PC because of stuff like this?
Just because you might have an abusive parent doesn't mean you can't make money independently in a more ethical way
Imagine being that mad over cheating in a game. There's bigger fish to fry
Slippery slope~
Get to know it fool~
@@CoalCoalJamesWhat is this slippery slope?
@@VeryAngryCriminal He thinks cheating in video games is worse than m*rder and r*pists because it personally affects him.
@@VeryAngryCriminaleventually he'll hack the world and we'll all live under a cheater's thumb 🤓
Cheating in online games should result in getting swatted, but it's not a prank, and they actually drag you out hogtied looking at a lengthy prison sentence.
Editors make a valid point
I remember my parents used to threaten to break my pc like that for not listening to them
It was a nice little scam that netted him a new gaming PC. No wonder his dad smashed his pc although that was probably part of the scam.
"lets rob him back!" edit is so fucking funny xD
Cant believe that they dont eben think about the reason why the dad destroyed his set up in the first place
its very likely the kid broke his own pc after losing in fortnight or after his father told him multiple times to turn the pc off. Hence the need for cheats after he got the new pc.
*Plot Twist* There is no kid. He is not a dad. It was all a scam by the guy pretending he is a dad.
I got a feeling that will be the next kid in line for Epic to go after. Think the other was another cheat seller around 14-15yrs old around 2018-19.
There's a saying: "Cheaters never prosper" -- hmm... looks like that's wildly inaccurate.
