Honestly, stuff like this is quite scary when you think about it. One day these teenagers and kids will go out and mess with the wrong guy with the wrong mental state, and that's all it takes.
I remember when I worked at McDonald's I was taking this guy order. This guy was in 40s and was a OG. A group of teens came in being a public nuisance and started harassing this lady in her 20s. This OG went up to one of the teens probably 12, grabbed him and his friends started squaring up to fight and the OG said he wasn't afraid to go to prison for killing some disrespectful kids. Oh man the fear in their eyes was priceless.
One of the difficult things about these situations is that I see a lot of comments saying there should be an age limit before students could get a phone or have social media, I pretty much agree. But I have a little sister, far younger than me, she's in middle school right now, my mom won't allow her to have a cellphone until high school. But it's becoming more and more difficult to maintain that, because it seems like the school systems themselves are encouraging students getting phones at a young age. For example, she couldn't enter the middle school ASB unless she had a cellphone. She couldn't go on field trips unless she has access to a cellphone. It's really stupid, I hope we as a society will slowly come to realize the consequences, and make smarter more careful decisions
Restricting smarthpones for kids would be pretty much impossible in America. Parents buying cellphones for their kids represent a lot of money going to smartphone companies, so as soon as someone try to pass a law for that rest assured Smarphones Companies will lobby against it.
"Using your age as a shield" is something I've noticed happen a lot in fandom too, like people will wipe out "I'm a minor" as a defense and start whining as if they hadn't been cyberbullying adults in a variety of horrific ways.

The problem is if anyone ever knocks one of these kiddies out, it will be on camera and the adult will be the one arrested. The kid knows this. They know they are safe from any consequence. That’s why they’re protective of the phone. The only time they showed any fear is when she got close to getting the phone. Sadly you can’t just say someone is obviously aware - only their word will be taken which of course they will say they didn’t know any better so your reasoning would never work.
Mm I’d argue kids know to the extent of that it’s wrong. What they mean by kids don’t know what they’re doing is that they don’t quite grasp the long term consequences of these actions yet. That is where a parent is supposed to come in and guide them. Unfortunately, these kids will probably grow up to be small time thugs.
I work at a middle school, and this is a huge majority of their attitudes. They know adults can't do anything in retaliation and they push the boundary to sometimes criminal levels. If you're going to have children, raise them.
The behavior is rational on the surface but all I can think is that it's not gonna mesh well with the current mental health crisis among adults. How many depressed people do we walk by each day that have so little hope that they'd think nothing of killing a child and their friends? I'd hazard a guess a lot more than we want to admit.
It becomes very difficult when the Gov sets rules for parents so that they can't enforce any useful punishment/consequences onto their own kids. Even the word consequences is NOT allowed to use in certain schools here. And no matter how bad the actions of your kids are... if you raise your voice it can be considered problematic and fall into child abuse. Basically the system in places like here wants to have hands off parenting and wants to create kids that feel like they can act out without any consequences. It's very sad and scary at the same time.

The problem is if anyone ever knocks one of these kiddies out, it will be on camera and the adult will be the one arrested. The kid knows this. They know they are safe from any consequence. That’s why they’re protective of the phone. The only time they showed any fear is when she got close to getting the phone. If you could manage to get the phone, you could just break it or steal it and walk away. They would have nothing on you at that point. And again, the kids know this.

If a kid uses his age as a defense to commit crime, he is obviously aware of what is going on. They should lose that privilege and be sentenced like an adult.
Sadly you can’t just say someone is obviously aware - only their word will be taken which of course they will say they didn’t know any better so your reasoning would never work.
yeah because a kid with a barely functional frontal lobe deserves the same sentencing as a fully grown man, very wise.
@@Trickseyy Sadly, you're the wrong who's wrong here.

That’s a tall order for current society

I was watching Naruto when it first came to Netflix. Social media wasn’t really a big thing back in 2015 for most of us. I think because it’s become so big now younger people are being influenced by older kids more easily. We really only had access to gaming videos at the most.
When I was younger I was playing Plants vs Zombies on my DS, watching Minecraft UA-camrs, and watching Godzilla movies. Today, it feels like younger people are constantly seeking attention rather than just enjoying and appreciating life. It’s honestly sad.
Spending free time watching the TV isn't commendable, though.
So long as kids _think_ they're protected from repercussions, they'll keep doing this stuff. Full stop. There needs to be extra juvenile harassment laws about this stuff where if a kid becomes a public menace, they are _guaranteed_ to lose access to everything except a dial phone and maybe texts until they prove they're mature enough to handle more.
No consequences spoils anyone. Of any age.

Finally, someone said it perfectly
I wish this was possible its just way too difficult to prevent smartphone use
More so the parents like yeah ofc you can't control everything your kid does but like if your kid thinks this kind of prank is funny or cool you did a shit job as a parent
absolutely!
03:30 Where are Crockett and Tubbs when you need them?
what can you even do in this situation. only option is to ask for a new meal from the restaurant. anything else and you’re making a fool of yourself being in an altercation with a kiddo.
Kinda sad to see this shit. No respect for anyone just trying to live and exist in the world. Imagine working a 60 hour week, body is tired, you take your wife or girlfriend out for a nice dinner at the end of the week, and this little crem goblin comes up and steals your food with his grubby little hands. Holy shit that sucks

Why do I know exactly where the first clip tastes place
im a teenager and want to be a streamer but only a nice and chill one. and those teenagers are doing the wrong thing as a streamer
I work on a university campus and some 12-14 year old streamers come through every weekend and ride through the building on their skateboards. We have asked them repeatedly to stop as they often interrupt events going on, but they refuse and continue coming into the building despite campus security now being involved. One time my manager was able to confiscate one of their skateboards when they came in (cause at this point they are trespassing and this is their only quick escape), and this kid threw a legit tantrum and hopped over her desk to grab it back from her. He called her several slurs and threatened her just like the little shits in this video. It’s seriously infuriating and these kids have no clue how to navigate society and mind their own business.
I wish I could think of a word bad enough to describe what I think of them.
Thats just skateboarders, theyve been doing that for decades
@@Gringogay Skateboarding is fine… in a skate park or through a neighborhood. The issue is that they’re skating through an indoor venue, disrupting university events, and harassing our staff for their videos.
