I use fingers to cut off the roots. It's very easy. And the metal chopsticks are sold in Korean grocery stores. Check out a list of worldwide Korean grocery stores on my website please.
You are the cutest chef ever! I love the different hairdos. I just love watching you and your show. Pls don't change. This is one of my fave Korean side dish when I go to Korean restaurants. Thanks, I will try it!
From the bottom of my heart...."Thank you for teaching me how to eat healthy." Please continue making awesome videos. My sister and I enjoy watching them so much. Stay blessed.
Simply awesome!! Really enjoy cooking such mouth watering Korean food with you. Takes us back to those good old days in Busan where we were posted for 3 years!
I always love your videos. Even though I am living in Seoul now, I always use your videos to learn how to make Korean food. It helps me to impress my students and co-teachers. LOL Thank you for the lovely videos. God bless!
umm, the flavor from toasted sesame oil makes this dish really delicious. But if it's not available, you still can make it. I wouldn't add cooking oil.
Thank you!! I got some soy bean sprouts with my CSA (community supported agriculture) share and was trying to figure out what to do with them. This made a fabulous side dish to go with stir fried pork and sticky rice. Now I want to try growing my own!
Have made your chicken dish...Wonderful.!! But, you really make my day by the way you go about your cooking. HAPPY.!! And that's how it should be.!! Thanks a bunch.!!!
With very simple ingredients and simple steps, the soybean sprout turned out so fresh, tendre, a little crispy and very tasteful. I ate it with rice, perfect.Thank you for this very nice recipe.
I watched your samgyeopsal video first and then this one..because i had samgyeopsal yesterday (first time)..it was so good..and i want to know how to season the soybean sprouts. Thank you for making videos. I will cook for my mom :)
this video reminds me of when i was a little boy. sometimes for lunch, my dad would make me a sandwich and sometimes he would put alfalfa sprouts in it. mmmmm, i loved my sandwiches with sprouts! i haven't had soybean sprouts before, but i'm sure they are delicious too :D
I like your videos. I just bought these on sale 3 bags for $1.00 so now I have to find some ways to use them! I like soy bean sprouts in my Korean ramen soups and I like the nutty crunchy flavor of them.
I love this banchan without question but soy bean sprouts are rather rare to come by in my border Texas town. Yesterday I came upon it in a Korean grocery, it felt New year finally rewarded me early. I am enjoying your recipe definitely.
thanks for making me discover all those wonderfull korean food they are delicious.. i am so sad there isint any korean restaurant in my city the closest is 4 a hours trip whit a car
Hi Maangchi, I made soybean sprout and sti fry today, not sure if I cooked correctly as the bean very crispy, we have to eat very carefully. Can you please tell me if it is right, if it not cooked enough, can we eat raw? Thank you very much.
My local Kimchi Mart is always playing your videos on their TVs by the checkout!! I never really payed attention but last month i was like MAANGCHIIII?!! and ever since when i go, i notice your videos playing 😂🩷🩷
Made the first dish tonight… went great. Second dish I failed😒. But will try again. I never ate soybean sprouts before but now they will be a staple on the table! Thanks again! Question: can you serve this dish cold?
Hi Maangchi! I made this dish today because I love eating them whenever I go to Korean restaurants. However, my beansprouts had a strong odour/smell after boiling them and I can taste it even after seasoning them with everything, therefore, it's really hard to enjoy eating them. Was it the beansprouts or did I do something wrong?
Maangchi L@@Ks more beautiful every video. Kissu Kissu! ==;D I wonder if fish sauce is traditionally always used? I notice the Beautiful Maangchi uses it often, but I thought it was not common in Korean cooking (?) Can I use soy sauce instead?
Is sesame oil the regular or roasted sesame oil? I have both at home 😊
It's roasted sesame oil. www.maangchi.com/ingredient/toasted-sesame-oil
@@Maangchi ok thank you so much!
