Umm...is there a tutorial yet? I see there are 44k likes already. That's waaaay more than 500. :)
Its been 7 days since i started trying to learn this. So far i can only play up to 0:54 nicely. The rest is pretty crappy bc im still trying to learn. Im a beginner and im playing without anyone teaching me so for those tryhards like me out there, this is what i did, practicing 10mins per day(you should do more if you can)
Day 1-5: Play up till 0.35 non stop, because that's the gist of the song. Get it all drilled into your fingers.
Day 6-7(so far): Tryhard my way to the end bc i already learnt the basic melody of the song.
P.S slow down the vid if your hands cannot keep up, or if you think this dude's fingers need to rest
I probably wont update this bc im a lazy person.(I updated) -_-
Day 7 onwards: Tried as hard to follow and around day 10(i think), I finally followed all the way to the end without issues. From there on I just played during my free time and during breaks when I feel sick of studying. Now it just sorta calms me down playing the song, since I can do this song without thinking. I am currently learning river flows into you but my next wave of tests, exams and more assignments are coming up, and some projects sprinkled on the top of my river of tears. Probably gonna learn it in 2 months seeing how little time I have. Thanks for the likes btw I have no idea why people liking this. :)

Update: I came back after the first wave of tests and exams. I finished learning the song a few weeks ago but couldn't update since im a lazy person lol.

sadly havent been able to play the ukelele much since i have tests and exams every week
Thank god I learned guitar first, so this is pretty normal for me I finished it up all in one day (not perfect tho sometimes I forgot nxt part xD) and I know what you've going through because that's exactly what I do when learning guitar it's so hard specially if you're not used to it but like legend says, "Just practice everyday until your hand becomes used to it, doesn't matter if your hand is small or not." (my hands are small.. I almost give up :v) And the best part is when you've done learning 1 music or song, that feeling is sooo good that you never get tired of it. A feeling of a mix happiness and proud to yourself (at least that's how I feel xD).
So long story short:
Don't give up, you may regret it in the future.

Thank you for these more advanced ukulele demonstrations! Other musicians (understandably) roll their eyes when I say I play ukulele... there's so much more to it than instagram clips of pop songs to a CGFAm progression, haha.

How did u learnd how to read all the tabs? Becouse there are things I dont know how to do, like when are zeros and parentheses in some numbers and things like that?

Started learning the basics of the ukulele yesterday, I want to learn to sing and play this song. Doing it for my girlfriend who wont be able to see me during this time so I cant wait to get better at this! Thanks for the awesome video, no idea whats going on and how to read this stuff but will get there! Have you got any suggestions/tips for new learners? Goal is to do at the absolute least 20 mins a day of learning and more over the weekend!
Each number is the corresponding fret number on your ukulele, so how the song starts with the chord that has 3 at the top, that means 3 is on your "top string" which in reality means the one farthest from you. Once you learn where the strings are relative to the number, it just become about practice. Good luck man!

Can you please explain what strumming you are doing in 1st part after "In other words" phrase...For G7 , Cmaj7 and Am7...You are using such strumming in between chords which are far apart from each other on the tab chart...You didn't explain this in the tutorial that you made for this song...Please help...

OKAY so thank you for the arrangement, it was completely awesome. I just feel like you do some stuff you don't put on the tabs? There are hammer-ons and pull-offs that there are not marked. Is this just me with a weird feeling or do you actually do it?
Yeah I think the tabs are just the easy version, but you can play back this video once you've learned a part and then you have something new (and even nicer) to learn. The little touches make it sound so much better :)
