As a guitarist picking up a ukulele, I found it quite funny how similar all of these patterns and techniques are to what I naturally began playing on uke, as a guitarist lol
I most prefer the second riff with the palm muting technique in addition to the percussive thumb slap! This is such a great combo of 2 different skills as an intro to an awesome song. You are an amazing teacher; I would love to hear you play the whole song!
Absolutely in love with your channel and simple, on point tutorials. I've added a lot of your stuff to my daily routine and its just so much fun to play. Thanks, Marco!
Hi Marco, thank you very much for this lesson. As I am beginning to learn to play the Ukulele, it helps me improve my technique. The only thing I would like to ask you is if you could have a better angle on the right hand to see which fingers are picking the strings. It is very difficult to see that. That would be very good. Thanks again.
This is an excitingly helpful video. I’m looking forward to becoming familiar with these techniques. I love your tips and tutorial videos keep em coming. They are quite helpful on my quest to familiarize myself with the strings. Keep doing what you do! You play beautifully.
I like the way you teach. It`s 7 months later after your post and it`s Saturday. 22 degrees on the 24 of February in Romania. Just gonna practice teh haowayan slide a couple of more times and goin gout again. Gelato anyone? Glory to Ukarine!
I love your playing style and your videos. I try and learn and incorporate your lessons into the little Hawaiian Ukulele band I'm in. I especially loved your Hawaiian riff in this video, going to focus on it first for sure!
All of them are so bright and each one having different flavour to it.. enjoy sunny Italian beautiful summer 🌻🌞… much love to junior hope he is growing beautifully🤍
Excellent, Excellent Lesson Marco! I appreciate the total breakdown. It's really hard to pick a favorite. I love them ALL. Thanks for sharing your time and dedication for the love of beautiful music! ~Mary 🦋
Just telling us which string which fret as you play makes all the difference for me. You are easy to follow which makes it easier to learn. Sincere thanks. btw, I downloaded and subscribed
Thanks a lot Marco, your sharing are all I love on ukulele: awesome melody and riffs... Thanks to you I also started ukulele lesson with a local teacher and at my first audition I played... The Beautiful Spanish Melody 😁
I really really appreciate your help and time. Your way of teaching is very good and easy to follow. Once again I thank you for your time and your one of the "best" teacher I've ever ever come across. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you Mr. Marco Cerillo...
Could you do a video on a smaller ukulele opposed to the larger parlor size you're playing. Great tutorial, however the fret board size on a traditionally smaller uke is not like playing the elongated one that your playing.
HEY! what strings are those i just built a mini flying v ukelele for fun but i got the high g on the top. I want that bass string on the instead of annoying high g
I really appreciate your videos, Marco. I think I like the Hawaiian slide the best, they were all great, I will probably give all a try. You mentioned the key for the first two, could you please mention the others🙏
Thank you for this wonderful video. Can someone please help me with a question. Is this a Tenor ukulele he is playing? I"m just starting to learn about the ukulele. Many thanks to anyone who can answer this.
Love ur videos. Do u think u could do a tab/cover/tutorial for george michael's 'jesus to a child'? Its a beautiful song and quite in the style of ur playing ( i immediately thought of u as there's no real tabs available for it on the uke)
it would be amazing if you could try and do a tutorial video on string quintet No.6, in C major, Op.30, "la musica notturna delle strade di Madrid" by Luigi Boccherini from the movie: 'master and commander' its one of my favourites and i think if it worked it could sound amazing on ukilele 👍
Am I the only one who has a hard time without there being some kind of a visual or more repetition of the riffs? I don’t wanna keep going back and rewinding 😂 Also weirdly picky, but I also get so confused when people say 1st string, 2nd string, etc rather than A string, E string. That might just be a me thing

Love Italy, danced Argentine Tango with my wife at the Piazza Navona in Rome . . . . (tough on the cobble stones) but fun!

Loving learning these riffs! Thank you! (I am gonna need a low g soon...)
The Hawaiian slide is my favorite plus it's the easiest out of all of them. 😅
Hello Marco. Of the 5 riffs I like the Hawaiian best & 2nd. The percussion.
Nice riffs. It's easier for me to see the tabs than to hear where to put my fingers when I follow. It's just me. Thanks for sharing!
Love your teaching style. Learned a lot from you already. Would love a video with an emphasis on combining melody and chords. Keep the Ukulele high!
I can't wait to practice these, thank you! ❤
Thank you for your teaching and way of teaching. Seems so clear and easy. Kind regards, Vera
Love All Of Them❣️can’t wait to learn them, thank you.

All are wonderful riffs but I especially like the Mysterious Octaves!
Whats the difference between a tenor and super tenor ukelele?
Could you do a video on a smaller ukulele opposed to the larger parlor size you're playing. Great tutorial, however the fret board size on a traditionally smaller uke is not like playing the elongated one that your playing.
thanks needed these for my apology video
Nice timing
For the percussive thumb you can also end on 4th string 2 then 0, sounds exactly the same
Bro picked up a uke last week, such a diff from guitar, easier but not lol...love your vids man
Hawaian slide is soo good thanks man
Hawaiian slide was my fave!!

Lovvvve!
Hi Marco, are all super tenor ukuleles tuned in low G as standard or would I need to get it set up for a thicker, low G string? 🙏
Was wondering about that too. Trying to play the second riff and realized his G is low.
I bought a low g string for my tenor ukulele and just switched it out with the high g string - pretty Simple!
@@heidirobertson2262 Thanks Heidi. 👍🙏😎
These are sweet ! Thank you..
Those first 6 notes in the "Percussive Thumb" sound like the intro to I Got Sunshine-Temptations....lol
It would be really great if you put a version of the tab up to screen shot.
HEY! what strings are those i just built a mini flying v ukelele for fun but i got the high g on the top. I want that bass string on the instead of annoying high g

Hey Marco, just curious what string set you're using on your Kala super tenor right now?
Love ur videos. Do u think u could do a tab/cover/tutorial for george michael's 'jesus to a child'? Its a beautiful song and quite in the style of ur playing ( i immediately thought of u as there's no real tabs available for it on the uke)
It just doesn't sound as good when i play them 😅
It never do buddy
The tuning he has is not standard I don’t think. It may be low g
Please do mad about you sting on baritone 😢
Just awesome 🙏🏻 thank you for giving us that Magic
it would be amazing if you could try and do a tutorial video on string quintet No.6, in C major, Op.30, "la musica notturna delle strade di Madrid" by Luigi Boccherini from the movie: 'master and commander' its one of my favourites and i think if it worked it could sound amazing on ukilele 👍
is it possible to get tabs for these?
Just print out some empty tab sheets and jot down what the dude is saying! Try also to develop your hearing mate ❤
