The recipe is great, but the way you put it in the jar using the book is really amazing!
Fancylooks haha my mom freaked because of how dirty it is😂
"I'm gonna pour granola dust on the granola dust recipe"
HAHA, omg i love you Jamie
When I make this, I use about 1/3 nuts to 2/3 oat ratio, then I add dried fruits, cacao, cinamon, coffee and seeds.
Make sure to drizzle some honey over the oats and nuts when baking them in the oven, so you get a bit of a crispy thing going on them.
You need to research how much sugar is in dried fruit. It’s loaded with sugar carbs.
@@Ann-bm5qg Does it matter that there's some fast absorbing carbs in this meal? Dried Fruits are tasty.
I love all the attention you are giving to good old breakfast lately, since I am definetly one of those people who tends to skip it regularly, but with this for when i'm in a hurry and the oats with blueberry recipe for when i have time, I might just be able to take back control over my morning eating habits. 10/10
I made your granola dust today. I used oats, hazelnuts, flaked almonds and cranberries. AND IT TASTES AMAZING :)
Thank you for this great tip :)
my breakfasts the easiest thing in the world, and you do it the night before so theres no rush on a morning, oats in a bowl, pour in milk (non dairy for me, can't hack the stuff), leave in the fridge overnight, the oats suck up the milk and make a great oatmeal, chop in a banana and stick some honey and cinnamon in, tastes amazing and you can put anything in it
+Harry Kelly a fellow colin furze fan? give him a like.
+Harry Kelly Whats the ratio between the oats and the milk?
+Harry Kelly Doing exactly the same now in uni. Additionally putting some coconut flakes and poppy seeds into it.
Mathias Ruud usually a bit more milk than oats, so it looks a bit too watery, it should then come out perfect as the oats absorb all the excess milk
I do the same..I leave over night my oats in water + coconut flour ,and in the mornings I put bananas, cinnamon, chia seeds some nuts or dry fruits ,it depends what I have that day in my kitchen,IT'S SO DELICIOUS !!!
Jamie, I just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying your daily vlogs. I had an epiphany a couple of months ago and started eating healthily, and I've surprised myself with how much I'm enjoying it. It's wonderful to see a mainstream chef promoting the benefits of super foods. Keep up the great work and I look forward to your future videos.
I just love idea of Jamie's everyday superfood! I just started losing some weight and that helps me ALOT! Thank you Jamie Oliver and his Team ! :)
This is great, Jamie!!! Thank you! I broke a tooth on granola last year...Your recipe might be the perfect solution. It is also great for small kids and elderly since you made it into a dust! THANK YOU!!!
love it thats my breakfast sorted for life, cheers Jamie!
I've been making my own granola for about a year with nut seeds fruit its lush !! going to try the dust rather than leaving it chunky !! thanks Jamie ❤❤❤❤
love u Jamie cause of ur good will to renovate food for kids meals
Thank you Jamie for sharing this recipe. I am excited to make this for my family.
I like what you are doing here Jamie, cheers to a better world
Jamie, I cannot live without your granola dust anymore 😊 I throw in some seeds as well as nuts and when I cook it in the morning I add a bit of Manuka honey in the milk for that bit of sweetness... best ever breakfast 😊 we are on our third batch now!
This is such a fantastic idea jamie. I can't wait to try it. Cereal has become sugar in a bowl and kids don't benefit from that. I have lost 43lbs just by making changes in everything in my life. Food intake especially was something I needed to change. Food controlled my life and I took control back. Thanks for making health food fun and exciting again. Much love from Me. :)
This is just what ive been looking for Jamie! I jsut made a Musli the other day, With almost the exact same things in it, just only raisins for the dried fruit. And sunflower seeds. But i just mixed it up, and eat it with milk. But this looks veeeery nice! Its simple, can be very cheap, and requires zero effort in the morninig! Perfect Student Breakfast!
Ever since I watched your sugar rush documentary, I 'almost' completely stop buying sugary drinks, soda, cereals, and so on (I'm still working on it though). Your documentary is life-changing! I didn't fully realize there is much added sugar on many daily products.
Granola dust is a brilliant idea! I usually have oatmeal, milk, and some honey for breakfast :D
This sounds amazing. I'm going to try it this weekend.
Love this recipe! I am joyfully eating this every morning. And to be honest I love it all blended together, than eating muesli-like breakfast. The flavours are well combined and textures do affect how we taste food. Now even my grandma who cant chew much can eat this :)
I think granola dust is also a great alternative for cheesecake base (those that require crushed biscuits and butter), i think it will give loads of different flavours and take the dessert to another level. Use this as healthy sprinkles on cupcake may work as well!
No just no don't ruin a cheesecake like that its an indulgence not an everyday snack
It actually became my daily breakfast, so good :) With frozen blueberries on top it's perfect!
just did this recipe. can hardly wait for tomorrow
Just made this here in Los Angeles, looking forward to trying it in the morning! No matter how good it tastes, I had so much fun making it! I bought the big glass jar and all :) Thanks Jamie, you the man!
Yum - I'm not a huge cereal person but this looks delicious. Definitely going to give it a go.
Very simple, very healthy!
brilliant thanks Jamie!
Going to try it. Thank you
I've been eating granola dust for breakfast for 3 weeks now and it's amazing. I couldn't imagine the coffee and cocoa in it but it gives it a real kick. I love mine with almond milk, half a banana and some blueberries
brilliant, just made this and it was so amazing. much better than my other cereals and I get to experiment with different ratios.. awesome work the jamster
My favourite episode so far Jamie.
I love baking and watching you videos even though I'm 9
THANK YOU JAMIE! I LOVE THAT HE MADE IT DUST - I WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT NOW!
Man Jamie I just love you! You are awesome! Definitely going to try this one! Thanks!
Wow! That looks amazing... Can't wait to make this.. I usually just have oats with a little cold milk and a cup of coffee.. Now I can have them both literally together!
thanks, i really needed something new and healthy for breakfast ::D
yes! this is useful! Thanks Jamie!
I can't wait to make this!! I'm also chomping at the bit to buy this new cookbook! Payday is Friday!
THIS! is heaven! my everyday breakfast for last three years!
Awesome!!!! Thank you, thank you, for this Granola Dust!!! I will make this first thing tomorrow morning!! Blessings!!
it's amazing!!! I'm so glad I came across your video, i loved it, my sugar junkee husband loves it! therefore, no sugar in the mornings for him is a great win for me!
I tried this, it's delicious!!
I do overnight oats soaked in milk kefir (ferment full of probiotics) In the morning I add fresh fruit, some honey & blitz. Topped with chai seed. Awesome.
OMG!! Jamie this sounds and looks AMAZING!!!!! will try it :)
Yay for granola dust! Definitely going to try this!
I'm gonna try this I don't do breakfast but I'm starting my health kick starting October no booze no take always I actually cook a lot healthy stuff anyhow but want to take it to the next level so loving these vids already done the chicken curry Bostin!
Look very healthy and yummy.
Genius !!! Great idea, it’s like astronaut food. Made it without dried fruit, but added nuts. Fabulous. Thank u for the idea!!!
Love the recipe! Use ground coffee so unusually!:)
you are the best Oliver!
I can't wait to try this!
Oooooo this is a cool idea for cereal! Definitely giving this a go :)
That looks sooooo tasty!
"next time you feel a little lonely or vulnerable - make some granola dust", genious! :D
I propably would add poppy seeds and off corse chia seeds... love those
Not gonna lie, I read the title of the video as "EAT MY GRANDMAS DUST" a little disturbed for a minute.
I need this in my life!
I already did! Pretty much two hours after watching the video! Thanks, Jamie.
Your the best thanks a lot for the granola dust recipe :)
I'm thinking cook it like readybrek! yum
Delicious !!!
Lovely video! And now i am proud to be eating oats every day! And it's healthy an SUPER CHEAP!!!
I've just impulsively bought Your book. I don't even have money for that, but totally fell in love with Your recepies!
This looks amazing! Definitely giving it a go :)
Brilliant! Thank you!!!!! Shared this video on every social media!!! Let's change cereal in America/UK!!!
Wish i have seen this video before making a regular granola this morning, lol! Definetely will give it a try next time!
Brilliant!
Jamie, love this and love your book! I love my healthy food and make granola at home, husband loves it! But he will surely be nicely surprised about this little twist, turning his favourite porridge and nuts into a dust! We have to go gluten free because of me and no coffee, but I am sure it will be super delish!!
I love this granola dust! 😻🤤
Jamie - u are the best!!!
Jamie, I love you so much!
Jamie!!!! Will u please do a paleo Recipe ? id love to see that as its my diet!
GOOD ON YA JAMIE!!!
I will make this with the boys. I can onyl hope that this will work. I already mix the unsweeted Cerials with the unhealthy ones so if the eat them it's not that horrible. Got down to 1 part sugar and 4 parts unsweated but was not able to get them to eat muesli. Will make this with Spelt and Dates and Raisins, Walnuts and Almonds this should make it a choc nutty dust with a light caramel flavor from the Dates. I really have high hopes for this so thank you for sharing.
I just ate Nestlé cereal.
Liked.
Yummy Jamie!
Just got my very picky 5 year old to eat a bowl of it! What a great recipe!
I think this is technically muesli dust. 😉
Really want your book now lol doing a cleanse at the moment and when I'm finished I really want to focus on eating well and healthily :) xxx
+Hannah Louise Get a book from someone who actually knows what they're talking about.
+aidan earl Explain yourself
Erik Gansevles OK. Jamie Oliver knows very little about nutrition, this is obvious if you were to watch his videos or read his books. He's put bacon in a book about super foods.
He's a businessman who is interested in selling books/TV shows not informing the public about real nutrition.
You are simply brilliant :-)
Love it thanks JO I'll have to do a nut free version for my little one(one allergic to nuts the other isn't), but easy done :D
This looks gooooood. Gonna chuck in the good ol chia seeds in the mix too , become mighty!
The dude said there are seeds in there :)
chia seeds need to be soaked for about 4 hrs, it seems (Dani Spiers)
Why turn it into dust? The different textures is one of the main things that makes granola so good.
Yeah that was what I was wondering!
+ThisIsMyFullName You can obviously eat all this stuff seperately. It's just a healthy alternative to the overly processed cereals you can find everywhere.
+Photoshop totally agree with you and also its just something different for a change . thats why i think he ground it up ! have a great day !!
kathy jo tourtois Thanks, you too :)
+ThisIsMyFullName tbh, I'm not a great fan of granola because of the texture so I'll be excited to try it!
Ah maaan! you are soooo coool! Thank you.
lovely
What hair product do you use Jamie? I've similar hair
Does blitzing it up not take away from the slow release part?
This is lovely! I don't like the texture of dried fruit so this will be fantastic!!
Oh and for coffee, please make sure it's organic and fair trade! ☺
Thank you Jamie and your hardworking team!
my breakfast have all the days oats. oats it's the base for my breakfast. it can combinate so many possibles food... i do a oat cake with the microwave in 10 minuts. and thats very nutritive! i not listen for granoladas. so i do it now!!
i would absolutely love to make this, my daughter is allergic to oats and nuts though, any thoughts on a similar breakfast changing those 2 items out?
i did it. it's nice
thank yoooooo
Hi foodtube. can you do a video on the recomended amount of milk / milk products per day. You guys are awesome, thanks.
This is about to happen!
Where does Jamie stand on steel cut vs rolled oats. I've read that steel cut is lower on the glycemic index but is it really just a textural thing?
Eating a big bowl of Frosties while watching this.
+Jamie Oliver Smoothie pancakes, Tasty fish tacos, then Smoky veggie feijõada (love the Brasil touch)
This looks yummy, have gathered all the ingredients to make this. In your book with this recipe on the next page top left hand picture is a chocolate pot using your granola dust. I would be very interested in the recipe for this, I think it is something my fussy 8 year old would eat.
This seems great! Better than granola because when you make it you need to add oil and a liquid sweetener. So woohoo!!
My fave breakfast right now are egg muffins with flax and hemp seeds and some cheese and green onions. I can make a batch on Sunday and then take them with me in the car on the way to work this way if I oversleep I can still eat. I really wish people would write up more to go recipes that are easy to eat in the car. Sure smoothies work, but they can get boring after awhile something about just drinking your food all the time that gets depressing.
I'm working on something kinda similar, waffle crisp dust
I have yogurt with honey and oats and chopped strawberries mix together stick in the drive overnight what have you got? a delicious breakfast
