    How long would this muesli last for in the fridge?

  • @TrailsTrailsTrails
    @TrailsTrailsTrails 10 років тому

    By adding the nuts and fresh fruit before you eat it the nuts will stay crunchy and the fruits will stay fresh. Keep in mind that this muesli stays fresh in the fridge for at least 2-3 days.

      Craig Always check the ingredients. Cranberries are always sweetened with sugar and you can find it on the ingredient list. so I skip them. while apricots, raisins, mulberries etc are natural.

    Can't stand cold muesli.
    I make 50% german fruit and nut muesli 50% porridge oats. Then add flaked almonds, hazlenuts, brazil nuts, raisons, currants, sultanas, dried cherries, dried cranberries and chopped apricots.
    Put 5 dessert spoons in a bain marie with 1 spoon sugar, 1 cup of milk and pinch of salt.
    Cook for 20-25 minutes. Delicious

    How funny is this, I made this for years without the apple. Yogurt, oats, or granola, raisins dates or apricots and honey. Just a yogurt amalgam. I had all these ingredients and just mixed em together. It's called bircher muesli. I call it Russ's yogurt.
