I have tried so many different recipes. This is by far the best one & I've made it 5 times since I discovered this video. I don't think I will try any other recipes from now on. Thanks Stephanie Jaworski!!!
This turned out great. My other granola recipes call for so much oil.....so this recipe was intriguing to me. I cut back on the brown sugar and added ½ cup shredded sweetened coconut. I used ⅓ cup of maple syrup. Absolutely loved using the apple sauce. Only a very slight taste of apples. This will be my go-to recipe from now on. Thanks for the demo.
What a perfect recipe. I did add about 1 1/2 T. more brown sugar. I used 1/2 C. sesame seeds and not other seeds to use up my stash. I added about 1 1/4 C. chopped dates according to the recipe instructions. I love it. What all do the commercial granola companies leave out of their granolas? This is creamy, fresh, and delicious. That’s a new spin on granola for me. Thank you. H. Lloyd
I made these granola's today and it came out so good. I had to make some changes to it. I added less sugar n also cut down on golden syrup. Thanks Joy of Baking!!😊😊 I wish I could send you a picture!!
Dear Stephanie I made the granola and was a big hit with my family! I made a double batch, so I'll keep some and send some to my father in Florida and my brother in Colombia (south America). Thanks for sharing!
I REALLY LOVE THE FACT THAT YOU MENTION OPTIONS AND ALTERNATIVES.. BESIDES TEACHIN N MAKING DELICIOUS HOME MADE SNACKS. SO THANK YOU AND HAPPY NEW YEAR HUN
I'll try this recipe since my home made granola is almost gone. I put some shredded coconut and all kinds of nuts and seeds. The addition of apple sauce is very intriguing. Thanks and happy new year!
Wow, I just viewed Chef Ramsey's rendition and then this one. Yours is a step above. I've struggled with granola making the few times I've tried. But, I'm confident that following you're delightful recipe will give me sure success. Thanks a million. All the best to you.
I made this granola and is out of this world delicious!!!! Being Canadian I used maple syrup lol! Thank you❤ can't wait to try some of your other recipes.
So I bought some apples today and made the apple sauce, I'm so excited to try this granola.. it looks so good.. I'm gonna double the batch and make it tomorrow..wish me luck
I made the granola and everyone loved it, even some who doesn't eat granola, thanks for the recipe , it didn't come out as crunchy as I hoped but it was delicious all the same and was a big hit... thanks so much and happy holidays from 🇹🇹🇹🇹
The best granola tutorial I’ve came across! Love your attitude, no gimmicks unlike those ‘millennials’. You’re very good at teaching and I felt like I’m back at cooking class. I’m going to try this. Thank you
This is really awesome and healthy! I am fan of chocolate flavour, so I ended up trying true elements dark chocolate granola which is healthy and tasty and chocolately! Thanks for sharing this.
Greetings from China, Stephanie. Could you please make some bread teaching video? I love your baguette video, it is wonderful. Is there any other bread we can make at home like that? Thank you.
I just loved making it and the crunchiness was awesome. thanks so much. I dint have the Apple sauce, so just mixed hot water. Can I also add walnuts and pecans in this?
Yum, I love granola! I like to mix it in with cereal (I've never just eaten a bowl of it, that's tempting...) and put it in yogurt. It'd be cool to have some that's homemade!
I would like my granola to come in clusters, however to make everything golden brown it needs to be turned so how do I make it cluster and still get the even color
I make a similar recipe but add dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, dates). Store it in the refrigerator for three weeks? Heck, mine is always totally consumed in 4 days.
Hi...I tried this recipe, following it to the letter as I usually do a first attempt. The taste was good but the problem is that it didn't get 'sticky' as it dried. Every sunflower seed and oat kernel was individual and I was hoping for small chunks in my finished product. Could you (or anyone) suggest where I may have gone wrong? Thanks so much for sharing the video.
I live in Michigan, and I have Almonds in my freezer that says they are natural. They still have their skins on. I’m not sure where I bought them, but I do tend to buy my nuts & dried fruit at Aldi. I found that they are usually cheaper than the larger stores in the area. My pecans, which I use a lot of, I order from Amazon.
Thank you I want to make it as a gift for my cousin, she doesn't cook or bake at all and would really love this, maybe later in I'll try making the apple sauce and give this recipe a try as well, I loved how it look but with maple syrup cause I wouldn't find the other one in my country or the apple sauce

atrinka rac send granola to columbia? thats a waste of money. i mean, everything in colombia costs 5 times less
it's not about the monetary value, it's about the love and care you put into a gift. I love my family and only wish the best for them, that's all.
Such a sweet gesture! Your family is so lucky to have you! 🥰
@@denagustafson6070 thanks! Still doing it!

The longer you bake the granola the more crunchy it will be. So if it’s not crunchy enough next time I would bake it longer.
@@joyofbaking I was trying to but it was getting to brown so I had to pull it out
This video is amazing!!! thank you so much for all the ways you tell to use something different.
I substituted the app,e sauce for peanut butter !!! Was so good 😊

I make a similar recipe but add dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, dates). Store it in the refrigerator for three weeks? Heck, mine is always totally consumed in 4 days.
Looks amazing but I have to bitch and ask if there is any gluten free aternative to the oat?
I have some left over cereal. I am wondering if I can bake some cookies or something out of it. Please share a recipe.
Hi Stephaine, you mentioned that can make about 5 cup of granola after finish. Is that equal to 500gr? Thank you :D
Granola tastes good by itself too literally just went to the kitchen took a spoon and ate it like chips

Carla Randall she said in the video if you want it to be chunky wait for it to cool down before you take it out of the pan
In the US, you can't find natural nuts in supermarkets?! Seriously?

Great👍
Why not use parchment paper on the baking sheet? Any reason in particular? Just preference?
You could if you like.
Can you please make filled buns?
Thanks for fast reply :) it helps a lot
I want to make this today, if I wanted to add additional nuts do I need to add more of the wet ingredients?
You don’t have to. You could just add more to the recipe.

Could you use parchment paper instead of greasing the pan?
Of course

dear stephanie can u give me option for egg in choc pound cake?
I made Stephanie's oat bars.... with fruit filling. So good !!! I'm sure this is wonderful, too. Homemade is always better. :o)
Can I opt for the Apple sauce?
what can I use to substitute the apple sauce?
Where can I get
I am going to make this, but keep it vegan and low fat. That means, no butter, or honey, or oil. I like the applesauce idea.
no one cares
Then why should anyone bother commenting on UA-cam at all? Someone may care.
petmom ful

What can be substitute for apple sauce???

I have a Honey Granola recipe that doesn't use apple sauce. Here is the link. www.joyofbaking.com/breakfast/HoneyGranola.html

How about some dried fruit? Sultanas and currants?
Yes, you could add dried fruits to the baked granola.
Can I add some flaxseed into my granola. It has a lot proteins in it. I think it will make my granola healthier.
+Hoa Nguyen Yes, you could do that.
Another option for Apple sauce pls reply
I loving this! I just posted a similar video. Prep and cooking time is 30-35 min!
