1 loaf stale bread
3 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Here's how
Carefully slice the stale bread into even pieces.
In a shallow dish, beat the eggs and salt together.
Pour some vegetable oil into a non-stick frying pan and heat it for 1-2 minutes until hot.
Quickly dip each slice of bread into the beaten eggs, ensuring both sides are well coated.
Place the egg-coated bread slices in the hot pan and fry each side for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
Once cooked, transfer the slices to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
