From experience, wait about 30-45 min before pushing the ink down and you get much more defined "flames". If you do that while using sinker white, you get an awesome, smoky effect.
Yes I agree. The 2nd one is beautiful 😍 I've been having problems when I order from Temu. My bank notified me again that there was unusual activity on my account. This has happened 3 times to me. My bank had to close my card and issue a new one. This has happened each time I ordered from Temu. So I know that their information is not kept safe. So I just wanted to warn everyone. Have a great day😊❤
Both are really pretty, but the second one matches (no pun intended!) the flame colors a lot more. That wispy look would be really nice in a lot of colors.
What a cute and creative idea! I love this. I previously was trying some ecocrete little match holders but love this little jar with the fire topper. Wonderful! Where did you get the cork and campfire topper, please? 🤩💖
What do you think would happen if you used mica powders or even metallic powders on the part that creates the hole? Then you could use the liquid colours to create whatever you envision. I don’t have a jar mold, otherwise I’d try it. I bet if an actual scene was on the post it would be so interesting. Wish I was a bit more artistic, I can come up with ideas but no artistic ability to make it happen.
Pretty, but gluing the striker strip to the bottom of the lid is a bad idea unless you make sure the matches are top down. If they happen to get jostled in transit, that is a fire hazard.
@squid7004 Oooh maybe? I wonder what effects the oil would have on the resin. But, the perfume bottles I made using scented oils are doing great! So, I might need to try this! Thank you!
Beautiful
Thank you Laura 😊
Glue a match strike strip to the bottom of the lid. Then you can strike your match and light up your fire 🔥

Good to know! Yikes! I haven't had that happen... yet. I'll be sure to watch carefully. Thank you! I'm sorry that happened! 😔

Very cute 🥰

You are supposed to use a pin to open those inks. I used a push pin.
Thank you, Erin. ❤
The both are beautiful but the second one looks more like flames 😊
So cute!
Thank you Linda ❤
I love them both. I would pour clocks and cogs in it, too ❤❤❤❤

Love the project, but I do prefer the colors in the first jar. The top does look better on the 2nd one. Thanks for posting.
Thank you sewlady! 😊
What abeautiful idea !!
Thanks so much Selene! 😊
Cute idea!
Perhaps if you put the sinker white after the yellow and orange. That might help the yellow to be seen more. But I do like both of them.
Good idea Vicky! :)
Really wonderful loved ur work
Great idea. Love it!
You come up with THE CUTEST ideas!!!
Thank you Renee! 💓
I love it .

Cute for my rv.
Sorry have to ask what's all the banging in the background
Sounded like gun shots
Oh gosh, I'm so sorry. I don't know.. I usually am quick to edit out any loud noise, but I'll have to go back and listen again. Sorry about that!
I have this mold. My favorite jar mold to date! Love your jars!
Awesome! Thank you! ❤️
Very cool project. 😊
Thank you! 😊
Love the jars, I do agree the 2nd is better. I would think some red would look good, just not as much.
I think so too!
I have been wondering how they get colors to look like that. Thank you for giving me some ideas.
No problem Lucy! 😊
Very cool. Fab idea
Thank you Juls! 😊
Did you use transparent ink? Maybe try with more of an opaque? The turned out really nice 😉
What a cute and creative idea! I love this. I previously was trying some ecocrete little match holders but love this little jar with the fire topper. Wonderful! Where did you get the cork and campfire topper, please? 🤩💖
Thanks so much! 😊 I bought both on Temu but toppers are also on Amazon I believe.. as well as the mold!
Thank you!@@resinnut9335 I ordered them along with matches and striker strips. I am so excited to try this. So cute! 😍

@@dianezavitz2895 I'm sorry for the late reply, I'd love to try that! Thank you. ☺️
🥰
Blue & yellow make green. 🙈 you have to be so careful with inks running into each other and coming out totally different or muddy x
What about sinker white on second time
good idea!

There is enough room between lid and matches, and fire needs oxygen to burn, so it should be ok. :)
would this work for a scent oil diffuser?
