Well, I don’t know what everyone told you how to do it, but I really like the way that you did it! I think I’m going to do it the same way you did because I love the outcome. It is adorable!❤
Oh man! You're brave. hahaha, let me know how it turned out! It was fun to do+
Oh Happy Day!!! It was soooo good to see a video.
I’ve seen this mold and wondered about it. I didn’t look to see anyone has done a tutorial. Great job, as always! I have no suggestions, because I I like it. It’s a signature Resin Nut piece!
Can’t wait to see if your creative mind has been working on vacation!
If you get this message, I’m hoping you guys are having fun, I know you are! I’m praying daily for you! Take care.

Oh mam! I've got soo many ideas all pent up! hahaha ❤️
It turned out really nice. It would look so pretty with a battery LED candle, too. Imagine several on a Thanksgiving table glowing warmly amongst other fall decor. I love it.
That would be cool!
Its really pretty though. I think maybe mixing the caboshons with the resin and fill the mold then drop the inks along the top and lwt them fall where they want as it cures?
I agree
I think it’s pretty, you had a lot of patience as well. ❤
I think that's very pretty.
I think it's really cute. ❤❤❤
I thought that was quite nice!! The total piece was beautiful! If the resin was thinner I think it would have traveled a little more. I think I’ll try this! I do have the mold! Miss your videos!! ❤
It looks like wintertime frost. It's very pretty.
Thank you Linda!
Very very pretty. Colours are do pretty.
Thank you so much!
I also like it as is. Maybe add 10 little fairy lights to?
Really cute
That is really beautiful
Really very cute and the colors are awesome together. I have to get that mold I love it.
Thanks so much mycookies😊
Hello Barbara!!! cute Jar!💝
Thank you! 🤗
Thank you 😊
it turned out very pretty! I wasn't sure if it would but it's beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Maybe put a few drops of ink halfway down to make it easier. I really like it. The colors are great. Thanks
Lovely ❤
Thats very cute. Maybe a battery powered tealight would look pretty too. 🧡💛🤎
Hope you are enjoying your cruise 🥰
Great idea!! Thank you!
So cute !!
Love it I think that's very pretty
Thank you Cathy! 😊
Love it
T hat came out really pretty. I definitely would have mixed the cabochons with the resin, dripped the ink, then add more of a thin resin. But all in all, it's beautiful 😍
Great idea!!
I think it's really cool looking. I love the effect you got with both pieces and the alcohol ink.
Love it !
Very nice 🙂
Thank you!
mix the cabochons in the resin add to jar then do the drips of alcohol ink
This is what I think they were saying
I love it .🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thank you Marcella! ♡
I love the colors you used Barbara ❤ Such adorable jar. Hope you are having a wonderful funtastic time on your cruise ❤
Thank you! 🤗
I think it is really nice. You did a great job on it. The colors look good together. That technique was definitely interesting.
Thank you so much!
It's beautiful. Like a cool cola 😂❤
That's those are beautiful colors together. I think if you had mixed the color in the resin for this one. It would have done better when they ask you to drip the color in. I think they're talking about when you're just dripping it down into clear resin with nothing inhibiting it from. Flowing down
You are right!
It's lovely 😍 I really like the effect 😀❤️🤗
Great effect! Really love it! ❤
For some reason, I think they meant to mix the plastic pieces in with the resin and then pour it in the mold, and then drip your ink in, however it turned out so cute.
I have the acorn mould too and just love it! I've made ten or so and the mould is still strong. I love the idea of dripping ink over some sort of bead. You made it look fun :D
I REALLY like the effect on the base of just dropping the ink. It colored but it didn’t color evenly which is the big appeal for me. Great job following “orders”! You did well!
Thank you so much!
Shared. Cute!
Gorgeous.
Thank you! 😊
I think if you'd used the bigger cabochons it would have left more spaces for the resin to run through easier. Would have been harder to get those in the jar part though.
Very pretty. You did well with the time crunch. My heart was racing when you said the resin was getting hot lol😂 ❤️
Hahah Yeah mine was too! lolol. 😀
What fun! Cute little mold and the tiny cabochons gave the jar a nice textured look! You might try a thinner resin, maybe even a deep pour resin. I think the bubbles might have an easier time rising to the top. Aside from worrying about bubbles, I think your acorn jar turned out cute and would be a nice addition to any room. TYFS❣️
Great idea!!
I would say next time put your decorations in the resin, fill your mold and then add the ink. I feel like that would cause less air bubbles. I've seen some people add their decorations in different cups and color each differently and layer in the colors or do 2 colors at once on different sides. And even combos of those techniques. I ended up super cute though!
Great idea!
It turned out cute, and this is actually pretty similar to what I suggested! I bought the cabochons and the pendant light mold and did try it myself. I used 3 colors to ombre it, and I think working in layers helped. Also, the pendant mold is more open so it was easier to 'help' the resin move down. I can see how filling the whole acorn mold could be a pain doing it this way! It could work better with a really thin resin though. The look you got is closer to what I wanted, with different color saturation throughout it. I used wayyyy too much alcohol ink in mine so they basically just went a solid color.
Thanks for sharing your experience Erin! 😊
This is what I think people were saying, but you would need to do it right after you mix the resin to give it plenty of time to sink down through the beads
Perhaps if the ink was added to the sides as you add the beads a little bit at a time you might get more color up the jar.
You could add dye to resin first
Hello! I was thinking you would drip the alcohol ink down the sides of the mold instead of on the bottom. Wonder what that would have looked like?
I thought you said DRINK! Never mind,,,,
😆 hahaha
Hi what was it that you used in the little sprayer?
91% isopropyl alcohol
You should but the Cabochons in the resin and mix them, they will go into the mound easier and will all be coated. Don’t understand why you would do it this way. And easy to make your inks go down in the mold, pour in part of the cabochons and resin mix then add a few drops of your inks and so on till full.
Yes! Normally that is how I would do it. But this project was requested by a few viewers on a previous video. :)
I think a more fluid resin would have been better maybe
Add resin, add beads, add ink, repeat
Love it!
