- Today, I'm trying a mold that holds a higher price tag. Is it worth the money? Come and watch and I'll give you my honest opinion! Silicone molds come in a variety of colors, price, and quality! Each resin artist will need to experiment to see which molds will work best for their individual use... hobby, sales, or for gifting, or maybe it's all of those! Oh my goodness, I was not expecting that price! It’s a beautiful dish ❤ and it’s awesome that the mold is available to those who want to buy it.
I suppose the maker in me is thinking that I could buy a pretty candy dish, some silicone and make a mold for a more reasonable price. That being said, crafters should definitely be paid for their time. And they have definitely created a beautiful mold (not an easy task to make a flawless mold). I’m just to frugal. But super beautiful mold 💯

So pretty!! That color is stunning! That’s a really nice mold. Those facets are super sharp and I find that’s not typically the case with the cheaper molds. I think high quality molds are a good investment. They hold their shape and last longer than the cheaper molds in my experience.

That is a gorgeous mold for someone who wants to make multiples and sell them. I can see paying that kind of price. But not for the person just making gifts and stuff like that. Don't wanna get the same thing to everyone

After checking the price I had to take a second thought. I can't foresee ever paying a price like that for a mold. Sure it's pretty but a mold doesn't last a lifetime.

@@resinnut9335 I've made a few druzzy molds from crystals I've grown. Silicone is expensive so I'm sure that's probably why these molds are so costly . They are beautiful though.

It is 20% off so that helps. It basically came down to the choice of 3 or 4 cheap molds or investing in one better quality mold. I don't make my own molds, yet, so it was worth it to me. :)
