You can mix mica with a bit of alcohol to paint the fine lines. It will stay where you want it to that way and the alcohol evaporates

Very nice. Just advise since I also have the Resiner’s bubble machine, it will not work with high viscosity resin. I learned the hard way and also had a flash cure a couple times til a different UA-camr said don’t use high viscosity! Super cute turtle!

Love my mug warmer, but it can't be used to re-heat my coffee if it's grown cold. It does work well to maintain a nice hot temp though. I bet this would work better if the resin was measured out into a smaller container and the placed into already hot water. Beautiful results❤
Also, I'm guessing the films are made differently from the ones that can be made to stick together. Good lesson for all of us. I used my hair blow dryer to try to soften the adhesive on a plastic jar label, and managed to warp the plastic jar very quickly.

The turtle is absolutely beautiful 🤩! May I suggest that you use a flat bottom bowl-so that the heat can reach the water better. I use them as well and I find that the heat is more efficient that way by sitting flush to the hotspot. I have made a few turtles (from Julie)and I never get tired of trying something a bit different.Thank you for sharing 😊❤

I did the same thing!! I bought a nice mug warmer that has multiple settings & my resin is much easier to work with. I did have it too high at one point & the resin started to thicken but all in all, this is a game changer. I use the mug warmer AFTER I've mixed A&B.

Probably should pour your warm fast acting resin into smaller cups. The fast acting can flash cure pretty easily. Take your gloves off when working with the foil. You can pour your resin right over the film. The turtle turned out very nice overall. 🎉
