most underrated c4d channel....is it possible to use this same technique with geo/clothing from marvelous designer? have clothing disolve off a character?
Mmmm, this absolutely didn't end up looking the way it should. I'm missing the step after we add the Extrude to the Volume builder. How do you then move it out of that hierarchy to preserve the shape? In your final scene, the original Extrude object isn't inside the Volume Builder with the Matrix. The way the tutorial ended, it looked like the Extrude had to be inside the Volume Builder but then it's impossible to apply the Material tag for two different materials (even with the Vertex Attribute and Material Blender it didn't work on my end at all). :( Also, my torn cloth was going mental, it didn't fall neatly down, but jumped all over the place :D Aaaaaah, simulations in C4D.... a source of frustration.
Hi there, thanks for the great tutorial! I was wondering: Is there any advantage using the matrix object instead of the cloner? The cloner also allows to use spheres instead of the matrices cubes and with multi-instance selected it sould not be too heavy.. I tested it and it also works with the cloner object.
Hello ! I have a question. when i render the animation frame by frame it looks good on Cinema 4D but when i save the pictures and tried to animated them they look so dark i cant fix this problem . Maybe you can help me
I follow the tutorial step by step, even carved out my own Nike logo and the step to add the Vertex Map to Mix Animation (With Pins) doesn't work. It doesn't do anything. Has anybody had this issue? The cloth either all falls or does nothing.
hi, great tutorial until 18min, why didn't you show the WHOLE tutorial instead of showing us at almost the end what you did when you did it , I am really disappointed because I wasn't able to finish the tutorial since you did not explain it but just showed how you did it smh really disappointed...

at 07:58 when I do this the pieces start freaking out and changing size dramatically.
12:25 what if you dont have "use particles size"
ah you have to select the matric in the volume builder
