@harrietgracemartinez9380 nope. I took mine to the dealer and they just confirmed everything I already told them. They had no update or fix for the issue. I was charged 180 for the tech time still. My fix is just a cheap bluetooth radio adaptor for the cigarette lighter port. I did finally just order a new receiver/screen for it though.

thanks so much this worked great for my 2019 honda odyssey - looks like whenever you turn your phone off and back on it "messes up" the bluetooth connection, telling car to "forget" the phone then reconnecting it worked perfectly :)

I did the procedure but when I press the call button it does not show me the pop-up menu to continue with your instructions. Does the car have to be in neutral or on or off or something special? thanks!

I picked up today at 2019 Honda accord LX the only way we could get the numbers to work from my phone which to actually put them in to the vehicle menu. I kept telling them that does not sound right, if my phone is paired to the vehicle the vehicle should be able to access my contacts that’s being able to make a call. But they were telling me I actually had to put them in. Do you happen to have another video that’s a little bit more extensive about this

I deleted my handsfree link from my phone because I wasn't getting audio, and now I can't get any of these steps to work. Any ideas? I can't even take calls now

I changed the battery in the car and ever since the phone system in the car stop working none of the phone button on the steering wheel or the dashboard is working
If your make a call button does nothing when pressed and If your phone button on the top right of the screen also does nothing when you press it then it's eligible for a recall that was released. The software needs updated. Honda is not very forward about letting you know these things in order to not have to spend money on fixing them for free.
@@EM-rp6fq Turns out it was acknowledged as a defect, but not considered an actual recall. Whatever that's supposed to mean. So yeah, you'll have to pay labor. Lame, I know.
@@wildkeith that’s crazy lol if it’s a known defect affecting this particular model, just fix it for free smh but I think their argument would be it’s not affecting the safety of the driver and passengers. Do you recall how much you paid? I have an appointment in a few days.
@@EM-rp6fq It takes 10 minutes to do, but they don't prorate anything under an hour. So, whatever one hour of labor costs at your dealership. Mine was $80.
Unfortunately, this only works because you actually have a phone paired to the system. If the system not paired or maxed out, this process is inaccessible.
Pick up the phonecall button didn't not working at all, expect answers the calls. I have an issue the no sound come out when via Bluetooth, expect phone Calls .... There is any way to restart the system of the screen? ACCORD 2018 LX-SOPRT
Abo Bader it’s probably different in the US where I am. So i can’t really help you troubleshoot, sorry. I’d check the owners manual to see if you can find a reset option.

If that’s the case, there is an update for the audio unit that fixes that problem. Will need to take it to the dealership to get it done.
@@mahadhardan2641 the buttons are disabled when the car is moving. Once car is not moving those buttons should be accessible to use.

I took the car to Honda service center and they are suggesting head unit replacement which cost around $1000.

Since you have a sport, i think your system is different. I assume you have a touchscreen. This version does not.
