Apple CarPlay does not come in the LX model. Apple CarPlay comes in models, Sport, EX, and above. And with Apply CarPlay it shows your Apple Maps on the screen. You can download any other navigation app and it will show as well through your iPhone or Android Auto.
Hi, to pair your phone via Bluetooth, first select the phone icon and select 'Yes' to add a new phone. Then head to your Bluetooth settings on your phone and make sure Bluetooth is on. The car will then search for your phone and then you can select your phone from the screen. Then make sure the numbers on the screen match the pairing numbers on your phone and click 'pair' on your phone. Once your phone is connected toggle through the 'Media' button on the car screen until you see the Bluetooth icon. Then you can play music on your phone.
2020 touch screen and Car Play should have been standard for this trim!!!!!

While connected to Bluetooth can you play music from your phone through the car speakers?

No, unfortunately, this feature is only on Apple CarPlay which comes standard on Sport, EX, and EX-L Touring models.
