SNES Star Fox (EU Starwing) - Corneria (Easy)

- Revolutionary! Nintendo and Argonaut co-developed a special chip that would be packed inside each cart, that would allow 3D polygon graphics, the SFX. This revolutionary concept proved quite effective, since "Star Fox" ("Star Wing" in Europe, due to legal copyright conflicts) was received with huge acclaim by critics and esteemed love for the new Nintendo IP. And launched the SFX chip to make video game history on the Super Nintendo. Remember, may not look much by today's standards, but by 1993, the word was "unique". I loved it back then, and I love it still today. Good to see the series still going strong, having I received today the latest "Star Fox Command" for the DS, I can only dream of a true Lylat Wars sequel on the Wii, with perfect Wiimote controls and online play. Some times, dreams do come true, you know? Wii U?*
*Yes, dreams do come true! - Розваги
The intro allong with the the epic music used to look so damn basadd to me as a kid. It was like something out of the world. Ahh I had such a great time on this.
It looked so scary and menacing to me xD
That part were they boost out of the tunnel still gets me so pumped up I get goosebumps and everything
Same 😂
This game was the shit, it was the bomb! I was 13 years old in 1993. Played the shit out of it and pretty difficult on normal. This was my childhood
Epic music.

+stuntaneous epic
this music is slightly different to my PAL cart, I bought it the day it came out, strange.
Definitely
I’m 28 now and this shit still gives me goosebumps
I'm 40 and same for me 😂
My life has just flashed before my eyes ..
Peppy's ship is in the docking bay.
The world has been changed to fast and to much. Things will never be the same again. This kind of old stuff is still cool. I miss the 80s and 90s
Sadly true😔
The glory days of gaming
still the coolest stage with the most awesome music ever in a starfox game
Played this again after like 25 years. Still as good as i remember
It is a crime that none of the remakes used an updated version of this theme
I know that I’m responding to a five-year-old comment, but - if I’ve been informed correctly - the reason that none of the other games in the series use the original’s music (or remakes of it) are that Hajime Hirasawa (the composer) and Nintendo had a falling out over intellectual property / licensing :/
Old days... Missing it. I have been always dreaming to be a part of fox mission since I was a kid. Nostolgic ...
this game was way ahead of it's time!
Wow, the nostalgia. I'm literally in tears!

Most epic first level entrance EVERRRRRRR!!!
i remember when this game came out, it was the bomb.
I used to do all of the characters voices whenever they spoke to Fox :]
I'm 8 again. Nostalgia overload...
This was my first game i bought on the snes in 1993 nearly 30 years later at the age of 52 i'm still playing games better than any book.
Hi do you play the n64 version too?
@@SychoSam Sure did Lylat wars in uk
@@briangatt2956do you still have this game? Starwing?
@@KillTheHiveMind No i got rid of it after moving to pc in 2000.
The Good old days
Connor Kotara Only oldschool 😉
Corneria intro will never be matched.
The first game as a child Id ever seen. I walked into the living room and my dad and his mates one night were playing it, hooked on gaming ever since.
I was 12 when I played that game, and it blew my mind. That epic intro... damn. Okay, now that I'm watching it, I'm kinda thinking "a spaceship flapping its wings as if there was air... ? ^^;" But I don't give a damn. That game was fucking cool.
No need to overthink it. :D
This game is amazing for SNES quality I would probably think this came out on an n64
oh my god the memories of this game used to play this everyday when i was a kid for about 5 years straight
dit-at data at dat dat?
wuttup-wing dabba!
dit-dutta-dit duttat!
badda-up-wing bing bing!
Only recently discovered after running this game on a bad emulator that all those sounds are chopped up, pitch shifted variations of Fox saying "wing damaged" You can kind of hear it on 0.5 speed.
*Fox*: a-dama dam dam da dam
*Falco*: Win win win dama-
*Slippy*: Dam dama- dam dama
*Peppy*: wing wing-wing wing wing wing
The scramble scene and where the music kick's in @ 1:30 literally make every hair on my body stand up.
Perhaps the best SNES music out there and the controls for this game were spot on.
A real benchmark in gaming at the time... I bet the Megadrive/Genesis shit itself when it saw this !
That was so HUGE. And 30 years later still decent
i remember i searched for that music like crazy when i was a kid.
internet didn't exist back then =P
the music just makes me wanna be a kid again.
Game was the start of my 3D gaming life!! Never looked back!! (not because this game was always in a forward motion)
OMG that intro ! I feel like a child again !!!! This was THE SHIT back then
God damnit i loved this game as a kid....that music...those graphics....really good game !
bleh-bleuh-bleawh-bleh

I too had this game as a kid. Hard to believe now that they developed a special microprocessor for this game to provide the incredible graphics. I never really thought about it back then. I imagine they made hardly any money on this game, but the revolutionary polygon support is something modern games now take for granted.
Love how the giant robots look like they’re just minding their own business 😂
Just going about their civil construction work and then blammo, Fox blows them up.
the short moment of silence after the boss kill was so satisfying
Yes, FINALLY, someone who has Star Fox recorded running at it's NORMAL speed.
I remember playing this game when it came out, white-knuckle ride all the way.
They need to bring such CLASSIC games to the the latest formats we have on the market now.. No violence no swearing just play.. Ps4 Xbox take note.
Zeddik V "No swearing"? Then what are all the D-bombs at 1:39?
No violence? This game was basically a shooter! :-D
The music in this game is something else. Everything in this game is fucking outstanding.
Thanks for the transcription!!! Like you, I go crazy listening to the songs of this game. "Roger. I'm heading back home!" :)
I rebuild all the ships and enemies from paper and cardboard when this came out. I was 11...
Dopest videogame song ever.
What a kick arse game I used to play this game with my son. Happy memories :)
EMRGENCY! EMERGENCY! INCOMING ENEMY FIGHTERS! PREPARE FOR LAUNCH!
Wow brings back so many childhood memories
Wow, I haven't experienced these sensory inputs since 1996, something just re-awakened in my brain...!
This takes me back to the old days!
I loved the Corneria theme as a kid. Damn you Nintendo, and your catchy music.
My God... This game... I remember when this game blew me away with its graphics, back when such things were exciting.
Not on 32X , Not on CD-ROMS, Only for Súper NES!
Aw man, Star Fox kicked ass back in the day! The classic SNES/N64 games, the Nintendo Power comics, Fox & Falco's gameplay in Super Smash Bros. 64 & Melee. Good times, I tell ya! :D
i used to play this for hours and days on end. i forgot how awesome the music is!
Classe pura....i videogiochi di oggi non sfiorano nemmeno quelli degli anni 90...ringrazio il destino per avermi fatto vivere quegli anni.
Man, this game is still amazing. You're a great showboater, by the way!
man whoever played the bass on the boss music is good.
i still get shivers when i see this intro.
i love the sound effects when falco talks...
brings back many memories thank you ;)
I've played this when i was a kid. I still remember the song, the sounds. AWESOME
This was my favorite game as a little kid. I played it all the time.
...If you'll excuse me, I have to go dig up my SNES...
This brings back some crazy old memories, even the music sends chills up my spine. I completed this game hundreds of times, it was undoubtedly the beginning of my gaming life. Well... this, Street Fighter III & Super Mario Kart.
That title screen....I remember that. Harkens to the days of Arcade machines and thier "Attract" mode. How often do you ever see a title screen now days that looks like it's about to save the world on it's own?
Even that brief part with the controller set up...the music of this game.....
Thank you.
My best memories of childhood!!
Brings back soo many childhood memories!! I used to love this game
"Good Luck!"
i used to play this game all the time when i was young.
Nostalgia hearing the musc again! This game was insanely hard!
Yeah, man, I know what you mean.....
I remember... going to my dad's, playing sorry, eating Ham Sandwiches, and playing THIS.. Freakin' GOOD times man...
WOW!!! what a blast from the past!! Think after seeing this i am gonna have to get a SNES emulator and play through all the mario games and of course some starwing!!

I loved this game
If i had the SNES starfox I would have them all. abolutly LOVE this series
Nice Flyin' there Sparky. Thats pretty good for SNES Standards
This almost brought me to tears. I remember playing this when I was 6.
I don't remember this gake running so smoothly
God, I love the voices they gave Peppy, Falco and Slippy. Dib dibbit, dib dibbit
it feels like forever since i last played this game
This game breathes greatness.
"Emergency! Emergency!...Emergency! Emergency! Incoming enemy fighters! Prepare for Launch!!!"
Those words will never leave my mind. When I was a little kid, about 3 or 4, I used to go to the hospital to see my mom (she worked there), and I'd play this on the snes that was used in the children's section. Of course, I wouldn't play it if a sick kid needed it. But anyway, I wanted to be a fighter pilot back then and it was love at first sight.
Another great milestone in the childhood of a gamer :)
1:39
Fox: «Yudahbehdahbehdahbeh!»
Falco: «Univideo!»
Slippy: «Me-mhe! Me-mhe!»
Peppy: «Mwemwemwe! Mwe mwe mwe!»
This game was SO awesome when it came out. I remember being completely blown away. Then you think about the fact that this was like 1992, and what games look like just 17 years later. Imagine in another 15 or so.
2022, it was 30 years
@@Asphalt_Nitro_2 bruh, this post is 12 years old.
@@OldManTheseDaysOh I still can't believe you're still replying to me😮😮, sorry for my bad english
If graphics look this great now, imagine what they'll look like in the year 2000!
This game made triangles even more awesome

I agree with you dude! A perfect Star Fox 64/ Lylat Wars remake on the wii w/ online mode would be instant win =)
I just got this for my brother I forgot how good this.
this game was awesome back then...
Wow im impressed by the graphics the snes was able to pull!
Falco: "Perfect Wing Damage"
I've ALWAYS wanted to play this game!
And the legandary team was born...
I only played this game once and frankly gave up on it so I don't know if this is hard to do or not, but LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...WE HAVE A FLAWLESS VICTORY HERE!!!
I love corneria
This game is still one of the best games I have ever played. Amazing!
i always hated losing one of my wingmen in this. brings back some memories.
love it, love it, love it, love it, love it, love it,
Best game for SNES without question, I'm still playing it today, Only Super Mario Kart, Super Mario World and F-Zero come close. Awesome!
I miss that game I use to own it when I was little, I would buy another SNES just to play it again:)
