How to get the Secret Warps - Black Hole & Out of This Dimension
The first warp is located in the Asteroid stage on Level 1. To activate this warp, you must fly though the space occupied by the three brown meteors which are the center of a line of meteors located about halfway through the level, before the checkpoint. After flying through the three spots, a troll-face meteor will appear; shoot it and the warp will appear. This will take you to The Awesome Black Hole, which will spit you out onto Level 2's Sector-Y.
The second warp is located in the Asteroid stage on Level 3. To active this warp, you must shoot the second large asteroid near the beginning of the level, which is on the right-hand side of the screen. It will explode and an egg will fly out and hatch a bird. Just fly directly into the bird to activate the warp to Out of This Dimension. This level has no end and is effectively a game-over, but it's fun to see anyway!
This is also the first time I've ever gone through the Out of This Dimension stage... it's weird.

The Awesome Black Hole, General Pepper says that is where Fox's dad vanished, near the start of the level in the floating debris, there are 3 Arwings.

out of this dimension is so cool and eerie, everyone is wondering where fox is, when in reality he's lost in space forever, and andross has probably conquered the solar system
But hey, it’s all better, Fox gets to shoot the end forever.
@@Purple_Sloth Until he gets bored lol
Our Solar System? Thankfully not.

I would like to add that there are 3 warp rings in total inside the black hole. The first one takes you to Sector Y in Level 2/second route, the second one takes you to Sector Z in Level 3/third route and the third one takes you to Venom Orbit in Level 1/first route. Just making sure you knew if you didn't. :) I do speedruns of this game if you want to check those out!
Oh shit you commented on my video asking about version numbers lol, I totally forgot! Sorry lol, didn't mean to advertise or anything.
+LowKeeee It's cool. I didn't know that bit, thanks for the info! It's because of your run that I was able to figure out what the problem was with my version
Wow, never knew about that. Thanks!
I just came, because of all these Super Nintendo secret tips. So hot.
@@Luna_LNdid you delete all your vids from your channel? Your channel is empty and went there to see the other warp holes. Kinda confused.
Out of this Dimension: You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!
I love the fact that not many people mention that there is like, (although I'm not sure on the Canonicity of this), one other person to have entered Out of this Dimension. Desslar Coba, and Pepper reacted much the same way when they entered as he did when Fox entered. Implying this isn't some weird hallucination, this is an actual place. Which, is honestly more terrifying.
Blowing up those Arwings at the beginning of the Black Hole... probably just destroyed James McCloud's remains... 😥😥
They don't tell you, but star Fox's dad is flying through space just beyond that light purple moon with closed eyes, he's flying 20 years ahead of you shooting the same letters.
Huh? What do you mean it sounds really interesting but I can't figure out what you mean, is this some meme or an actual event?
When I was 10 years old, my dad or brother found a Wheaties box that had the code for how to get to the black hole on it..... 22 years later , I now know of this secret too. Thank you !!!!
I remember, as a young child, accidentally ending up in that lost dimension. I happened to have just done all those things and I accidentally flew in that bird - I think I was trying to kill it - but I felt so cool finding this - like I was better than all the people who were my older brothers age - but I never could escape and I came here to see if you could and you can't and that makes me upset - my poor Fox - my sweet sweet Fox
Bruh...
They call you a mad man...
Hi I'm Mike the theory is that when fox flew into that bird, it might of been imprisioned for a reason. And when he crashed into it he flew off into space with is window broken giving him no air and he is slowly dying out in cold space and since his sewing is broken his teamates can't find him and this is his purgatory before he goes to the afterlife and when the end comes on screen he can't accept it's the end for him and thus not letting him pass on

Awsome black hole: Best CD's bank note ever.
7:12 Starfox on acid.
Pilots take drugs that help them stay awake at long flies. But the drugs have side effects like hallucinations. By the time you see this level you are seeing shit that isn't there and you fly into the endless nothingness. If this was in real life when the hallucination ended fox would probably be lost in space with no connection to anyone. So yeah. D R U G Z
Or a random portal to a bizarre dimension. The level is even called "Out of this dimension". But your theory sounds right, maybe fox took more than necessary and has severe hallucinations. (but i'm not a drug expert so i don't really know does the amount of drugs affect the severity of the ettects such as hallucinations)
Haispawner the other theory is when he crashed into the bird his areing cracked open and broke leaving him with no air and slowly dying out in space and his friends can't find him cuz the gps is broken
I think those therories are just joke therories. The level was really made to test the TurboGrafx-16 or Super FX Chip (whatever it was) as far as I know. I could be wrong. It's been awhile since I've watched all of that stuff lmao
I guess that type of bird was a drug dealer bird
Did you know that if you try to exit the "Out Of This Dimension" level you will not exit even after beating the boss? The only way to exit the level is is restarting your console and startig the game of the 0% of him.
Warp 1 in black hole Sector Y
Warp 2 in black hole Sector Z
Warp 3 in black hole Venom
If you miss all three the stage repeats
"the awesome black hole" oh boi
"The awsome black hole"
Ah shit, here we go again...
I honestly have to say, if it weren't for this video, I never would have known about Out of This Dimension. All the years I've played this game and I was still new to the Black Hole.
Actually, while yes, the word "awesome" was very heavily used in the 90s, "awesome" can be used in more ways than to simply mean, "cool" or "amazing". It can mean "awe-inspiring", "huge", "magnanimous", and a multitude of other words. That's probably what they meant here, especially given that this was where Fox's father disappeared to.
That's awesome
Kinda like an Epic poem?
Just imagine the pure fear on a little kid’s face as he enters the “Out of this dimension” level.A place where there’s planets with faces moving around like slime with oddly disturbing circus music in the background where it never ends unless you turn off the device or die scared the hell outta me,it’s like having a endless fever dream.
yeah.
Heck I was scared enough of the giant "Freddy Krueger" asteroid up in my face back then, ironically I am not sure I would even have thought about the ramifications of getting stuck forever in an insane dimension...
That creeps me out today however 😂😩
"Kite-looking enemies" is literally all enemies in the game.
so the black hole warps you within a shortcut, and the dimension actually ends your game with a never ending "The End" Sequence.
After crashing the bird some people says fox gets brain damage thats why cant end
I've been playing this game occasionally since childhood years, that totals to 10+ years, and I've NEVER HEARD OF THESE LEVELS. WHAAAAAT. MIND BLOWN. Thanks for sharing!
me too^^
Yellow Diamond Doesn't Approve Same. Seems like such a massive secret too. A slot machiene boss? Wild.
There’s a theory that as fox flew into the bird, the glass on the Arwing broke, taking out all breathable air, and that he drifted off that far away on the map. Apparently it’s also theorized that they could see fox’s arwing status, but not his vitals, so for all we know he is stuck in space, subconsciously... creepy.
That's stupid. If his ship broke, he would suffocate and explode in the vacuum of space.
@@kenhollis6197 this is fiction. do you expect anything to be accurate? I mean, we got a fox, a bird, a rabbit, a toad, a wolf, and many other animals flying around in space ships, fighting a giant monkey who wants to take over the galaxy.
@@SharkBeret but you're making the theory based on scientific medical knowledge...
@@sasir2013 again, it’s *fiction.* I just pointed this out because I thought it was a cool idea.
@@sasir2013 there’s a certain small realm of realism we can assume, like living beings needing air. If they didn’t, why would their arwings be enclosed? Wouldn’t it be more cost efficient to have them open if they didn’t need air?
I think I read about Out Of This Dimension in a Nintendo Power issue, I could be wrong, but I just remember once I read about it's existence and how to get there, I got all wide eyed and thought "WHAT", and I immediately popped my cart in to go and check it out. Still one of my most favorite "secret" areas in a video game. More developers need to put stuff like this in modern games, that's for sure!
this game just slowly becomes a fever dream
This is where all your nerf bullets go when you can't find them
The three brown asteroids that form a "triangle" just before the spinning ones, if flown through, will grant you a Twin Blaster. Wasn't sure if ya knew. Cool video; subscribed.
Out of this Dimension kind of sounds like the theme from the Boo Mansion from Super Mario 64 where you go to the shed and go on the Boo Merry Go Round.
Lol I was thinking the same thing.
The song slaps though
I’m convinced Fox died in Out of this Dimension.
The team can’t find Fox, he disappeared. The song playing is When the Saints go Marching in, a song about the wish to go to heaven and picturing the saints going through the pearly gates, a song appropriate to play at funerals. The level ends with the credits and “The End”.
So Fox got teleported somewhere with no communication and eventually ran out of fuel and air. And in his final moments, Fox was probably thinking about Paper airplanes and Slot machines. The game doesn’t end until you the player either shuts off or restarts the system. Ladies and gentlemen, thats deader than dead.
I like to think that he somehow ended up in "Heaven" the dimension outside of ours, but since this was by a mistake and not trough a natural "death" he's immortal but stuck in some part where nobody will ever find him, his ship made to last forever without fuel (science fiction reasons) and that's his reality forever and ever feeling no hunger or thirst, unable to go out or end his life for that matter, like a glitch in reality
Slippy: CROAK!! HELP ME!!
Fox: I gotta fly into the bird!
*Peppy and Falco sees Fox is gone and opens fire on Slippy, because Slippy*
“There were two things that caused your father’s downfall, Fox.
The Black Hole graveyard.”
“And?”
“…gambling…”
The tune interspersed with "As the Saints Go Marching In" appears to be a Japanese folk song about winter weather.
Thx for this video! I had this game and knew about the secret stage. I love this easter egg
Played this 25 years ago, watched it today.
Aside from how utterly bizarre the entire aesthetic is, Out of this Dimension is so discombobulating the game itself can't decide if it's a space level or a planet level. The level allows you to go into cockpit mode (and defaults to it at the start) like a space level, but by the end it's playing the stage clear music used for planet levels.
I knew I wasn’t tripping, I did see Fox’s Dad here when I was a kid
I'm so sad that you stopped uploading!! 😭😭😭😭 Please make more videos like this, I laughed way too much.
7:13
So basically, fox started to feel suffocated and to "see his life pass through his eyes" (the "dizzy" effect, paper airplanes, the slot machine), and...
13:38
...he died. (dizzy effect stopped, the moon with the closed eyes, "the end" with blue and white colors symbolizing someone who was suffocating and died.)
this was fun to watch!
This stage reminds me of earthbound Ness flymen
Unknown Lost Ending/Out Of Misson Ending/Stuck on unknown dimension ending
the slot. the true endboss of the game
I like how he acts like its his first time seeing the Black Hole & Out of this Dimension stage even though he knows what to do to access them lol
damn so fox is literaly lost in space
This is interesting I've never seen it before especially when I played this game
I first remember seeing this off an old vhs I got from Nintendo. Wish I still had it, probably worth money now
Out of This Dimension - The Official Bad Ending of Star Fox
Always thought that asteroid face was weirdly placed when I saw it. Never knew it could take you to the black hole
I had heard of this "Out of this dimension" and honestly it's a lot creepier than I had bargained for haha, so you get stuck in a dimension where none of your loved ones are at, every planet has massive faces and are so far away you will never approach them, you constantly hear some dumb***** public domain music and you get attacked by a slot machine which plays "When the saints are marching in" (What why?!) and you better enjoy it too, because once that's over you are stuck in space ageless and with no need for food or water for all of eternity
...At least Andross's face is on the slot machine, that suggest Andross knows where this place is and finds you someday... Or what remains all things considered
*Sings oh when the saaaaaaints are marching iiiiiiin...* And so is probably Star Fox, but forever and ever
Have this cartdrige for 29 years and never went into those warp levels. I knew that the black hole was in the map for a reason!
Dang outta this dimension. Wow!
I wonder if anyone ever got out of this dimension honestly... Who would think about flying into a bird?
7:22 its like the games on LSD! I'm glad I never found this out, I'd have to reset.
Fox just shot a ship very similar to his own Starwing in the Black Hole Dimension... Does that mean he destroyed his father's ship? Back as a kid I remember once seeing the scary face, I will never forget how it scared the heck out of me, but nobody believed me
"What would happened if I died right now?" -Star Fox after a few decades shooting the "The End" (of reality) letters
James only got stuck in the black hole in the Star Fox 1 & 2 timeline. 64/adventure/assault/command timeline he was betrayed by Pigma and killed. Dunno if Zero had the same thing happen.
James wasn't explicitly told that he got killed tho
@@ikagura True, but hasn't every appearance of him only appeared to have been an apparition? In 64 he literally just vanishes.
Actually several bosses in the Black Hole - Just that they're junk x3
Also if you keep flying in the black hole, you can end up in a Warp that takes you to MachBeth instead if I recall - or Sector Z.
Basically there's a lot of warps in the Black hole
There's only 3
Hey I bet this is the closest a sci-fi character got to a fantasy character, because some background in Out of this dimension looks like Majora Mask's moon.
13:44 congrats, you doomed the Lylat System
Thanks !
As Dot Matrix Would Say: "This Place is Making Me Dizzy."
Daryck Reese stop looking at my can
I played this game in the 90s every day and I never had the clue. I thought it would depend of something else. Some other level had I think a glitch on the right side of the screen, I remember trying that thinking it was something related to it. How foolish.
never heard of Out of This Dimension...
I remember hearing about it as a kid, and finding the ugly face asteroid by following what was an "early day's creepypasta" nobody even believed me of that, so that's unsurprising
I like how he says "oh no its andros"☺
Lol I didn't even know that you could actually shoot the smiling asteroid! I always just suicided right into it. Ya learn something new every day I suppose. I also always thought that you had to wait til the very last second to shoot the middle of those spinning asteroid thingies.
@PlagaLurks Oh, ok.
I loved this game..Never knew these secrets existed
I've never thought of them a s"brown rocks', but a copper or bronze.
It's usually possible to explain some wacky, crazy, random shit that appears in a game through some theories.
This has no in-game explanation possible.
Fun fact, it was actually just to justify the use of a piece of code the programmers made that makes textures slide (used in the slot machine), and some other ideas, like Myamoto's idea to include paper cranes.
so there are a total of 5 paths and the only one that doesn’t lead to venom is out of this dimension, correct me if I’m wrong
Actually, Black Hole has 3 Exits... you took the first one... if you go on, you can take the other exits... but if you miss the last exit you are stuck in there as it goes on and on and on...
Not true. The warp points repeat. It's an endless loop.
I cant believe i found this when i was like 6 year old and honestly im still buzzin about it now and im 34 year old🤣🤣
Slot boss sounds like Kirby music no way is out of this dimension a gateway to other Nintendo game universes
Yep. it's Infinite. No Way Out. Only way to end this is Game Over or Restart Game :(
Scary rock.
Lol alllllll this time I had no idea there was a second hidden level…
In it you just go on endlessly
its like a Portal inside of ateroid stage
my guy has never seen a watermelon before
I always wondered about those secrets. 30 years later...thanks
Wait you can upgrade your shield? These items are completely unexplained and missable.
I think the faces in Out of this Dimension are the faces of the makers of Starfox.
But hey, that's just a theory! A GAME THEORY!
Well, I just finished the game too, through the Out Of This World warp.
Wow! I have a black hole too!!
i did the exact same thing to find the black hole but it just doesnt work ;-;
Out of this dimension is Majora Mask dimension
What a troll The End
At 9:82 the final boss : a flying space slot machine
2:46 is that the moon from the legend of Zelda majora’s mask?
Definately not
I think some people who worked in this game also worked on majora's so in a sense it might be...
@@MountSecthe arwing also appears as an easter-egg enemy in one of the Zelda games, so it's possible!

i really thought space bird was a bad guy
"There's a fallen star, make a wish" hahahahahahaha! Oh man!
Jealous of your intro man, god damn. Anyway, I did love Star Fox as a kid but SF64 is my preferred game between the two. I completed the crap out of that game but never had the hear to do the same with the SNES version. It makes me sad that Nintendo has given up on the classic formula. I liked the ship levels in Assault but the on foot missions ruined the game for me -- seriously ruined. I will play the game up to a on foot level and then turn it off.
+MrGazillion I was in the same boat as you before I did this series: grew up on SF64 and never got into SNES. When I started playing this one I thought, "Man, 64 version is so much better." But recently I popped in SF64 again I felt the exact opposite, "Oh wow, I like SNES better!" It was a life changing experience, and it shows in my SF64 game, now I'm playing like never before thanks to this game training me lol. I just need to readjust to the new; I was astounded at the amount of enemies on screen and felt like I was always super lazy in SF64 with my maneuvering around. Not anymore!
I have an unofficial list of "ways Nintendo fucked up" in my head. One of the biggest ones is "No real StarFox on gamecube." Adventures was a total disaster and made me never want to touch Assault.
+MrGazillion And about the intro, I got the idea for such a short, simple, and sweet from your old one, honestly! I made the RGB triangles while messing about in PS and just had a font in mind already that I liked. I need to revamp the logo so that the triangles are easier to see when scaled down; right now I tried putting them on thumbnails and they just sort of disappear when they get small haha.
Fox ended in the Kirby's dimension D:.
I feel like I heard this song before at 11:30
Star Fox SNES
The Asteroid
-There is a ✡ (no hexagon) next to the Asteroid before you warp
Majora's Mask
The Moon
- In the moon there is a ✡ (no hexagon) flower next to the moon child wearing Majora's Mask
Apparently the game designers were fans of fear and loathing
Did you guys notice that the song of the boss on the second warp zone is happy kitty? The same that sheldon sings on the big bang teory.
XD
Warm kitty soft kitty litle ball of hair happy kitty sleepy kitty prrr prrr prrr
i never got to play the game and now im sad about that
