      I dont think it should be strange at all to think a lot of the dishes on kitchen nightmares look decent even though gordon ramsay rips through them. I mean at face value most of those look pretty "normal" to me, but I can also admit that I dont have high standards when it comes to food and that like 80% of Gordon's criticisms do make sense. Personally all I need is for the food to taste like what it is and be value for money.
      But then the show also does expose a lot of other things like moldy food and disgusting kitchen, which even I would be grossed out by. Plus if they're asking for help, then clearly the quality and customers they're bringing in with said quality isnt enough to sustain the cost of the restaurant

    I love what an angel he is to the wait staff. Only took me a couple of episodes just watching his videos from my recommendeds to realize what he's all about, what a consummate professional he actually is. He comes in and treats the chefs like he would if they worked for him. That's his fuckin' job. That's what the businesses ask him to come in and do.

    • @floraflowers
      @floraflowers Рік тому +59

      That's what I, and a lot of other people, like about him too. He worked his way to the top and knows that wait staff isn't at fault for whatever is going on in the kitchen and in management, their job is just to serve the food and in some cases even they feel bad for serving bad food, take into account the fact that they also take all the abuse from customers when it's subpar. He's not below talking back to customers either when they are in the wrong. There was this episode during reopening night when one woman was obviously trying to get the food for free by constantly complaining that it was bad even though it couldn't have been. Gordon didn't spare her.
