I like how Gordon apologizes to customers in someone elses restaurant
The restaurant workers couldn’t even stand it 😂🤣🤣
Gordon started out waiting tables. He’s old school, and rose through the ranks to get to his level.
And he's always super nice to the waiters and stuff I think it's funny as hell
The most humble asshole I’ve ever seen. xD
Well he has respect for the food and the paying customers.
I feel bad for Sukie (5:40) .. They can't afford a chef because the hotel went downhill after her husband was in an accident some years prior. They can't even afford an apartment, so they stay in a converted closet in the hotel. The ending of that episode is the sweetest in the entire show, with Gordon going out of his way to not only find them a new chef, but also pay for her for a full year, *and* find Sukie and her husband a place to stay. Last I checked they were doing very well since the episode aired
Same
Gordon is such an awesome guy he’s my favorite celebrity and chef
Thanks it made my day!
That is so nice to hear! Those people broke my heart a little. 💔
Damn! Gordie did that?
The way he just easily exposed himself with that “it’s store bought cake” i’m crying i would’ve taken that shit to the grave 😭
He thought he was owning him but only owned himself.
If you watch the ep he was basically trying to throw his chef under the bus. Gordon later reams the chef out but the chef takes constructive criticism, and Gordon is basically 100% on his side and against the owner (who is a manipulative little narcissist) by the end of the conversation. It's amazing to watch.
He would've found out eventually when he goes to examine the kitchen tho
Gordon would have found out. As soon as he walked into the kitchen, someone would have snitched. If noone snitched, Gordon would have figured it out on his own.
Lmaooooo pls this comment💀💀💀💀
All of these years later and I still can’t believe that they had the audacity to sell a tiny piece of cake for $74, when it wasn’t even made in house! If you spend $74 on a piece of cake you are absolutely demented.
I think it was $74 for the whole meal.
@@Joker22593 3:40 gordon clearly states it's $74 for the dessert itself
Yea for 74 I would want alot more than cake homie lmao
That's just... Not possible, is it? Even rich people wouldn't pay that would they?...
$74 for a dessert? Not even if it was and made by the President of the USA, blessed by the Pope and served to me by Queen Elizabeth II.
I just love how the server almost always is giggling with the excitement as the chefs are exposed
Anthony Edwards amy's baking company was honestly the best example of this

This is one of the most unlikable owners on the show. Scamming his own employees out of their paychecks is just plain low.
Not just that but he took their money as his own money and never really paid them. He also kept his own RV outside the restaurant basically flexing on his staff while they were skint off money
I love the sushi chef. She was trying so hard to support the family. Her recipes not so good, but her perseverance was honorable. It was so nice gordon helped them with their finances, they were truly humble and in need.
How do you know her recipes were not good? Because the fake blowhard Gordon Ramsey said so? Yikes!

I love how Gordon isn’t a Karen and blames the chefs not the waiters
Well he was a waiter In his early days so It wouldn’t make sense for him to blame the waiter because he knows
The second one was probably the owner's fault
And not just chefs, even the owners, cuz sometimes the chefs are just following the owners orders on recipes.
Is it just me or when they zoom in to the food they reduce the video quality?
@Lil Sket You're one of those karens that gets mad when someone doesn't speak english even though you're in another country

I can’t believe how nice and respectful the waiters are even when gordon is saying stuff like “this is the worst shit i have ever tasted”. 😂😂
That's because he's insulting the work of the chef, not the waiter.
I mean waiters are used to being yelled at and harassed by costumers and having to still be polite and respectful. And Gordon is always nice to the wait staff.
I’d be pissed if my uncle couldn’t cook a medium rare burger too

I feel bad for sukie because even though her food was bad, you could tell she really was trying to make nice food and cared about her customers
Same she was the only one I felt bad for!
Tim Tate I felt bad for her and Julian. Sukie is an absolute sweetheart and learned what she should and shouldn’t be doing. And she was just trying real hard and wasn’t arrogant at all. Julian took Gordon’s advice and criticisms like a champ and applied them because he knows he needs to better himself. Also he’s under a shit owner so he couldn’t do much with the menu and knew it sucked because he couldn’t cook certain things. I liked those two. Not like that one chef who wanted to fight Ramsay and “send him back to Britain in a body bag”

The first one with the soup hits home with working as a cook for cheap restaurants in the past. Certain containers' dimensions create the illusion of more. Same thing happens in bar glasses and plating items. You have a large plate and spread the food across but then can take the same food and fit it in a small bowl.

Just food.
@@Nick210 in the entire history of foods existence it’s never been “just food”
@@kamkam3457 Actually, it has. Anyone that knows our history knows food was for survival and still is. The only reason we eat the way we do is because we have a luxury to do so. If we didn't have the access we did to it, I would guarantee you the last thing you'd care about is how it's presented and how it's seasoned.
@@eros4211 people have cared about food for thousands of years, sure there have been times in human history where simply not starving was the goal but ever since we invented agriculture (and even possibly before that) we’ve cared just as much about how food tastes and how it’s presented. Even cavemen used simple herbs and spices to enhance the flavour of their food and ever since the dawn of civilization those that could afford it spent a lot of time making sure the food the ate and served to their guests were presentable and flavourful. so pretentious
He's a first class wanker.
@@cactusmalone I think it more has to do with the diction Dean Junior chooses to speak with rather than a vocabulary contest. Very few people are capable of having a dictionary-grade vocabulary, especially when speaking to different people in different circumstances. The problem with Dean Junior is that he chooses his words to weasel out of any implication of responsibility to and for himself. His response to Gordon's "like STORE BOUGHT?" is probably the most obvious tell of this where he chooses to "enhance" the conversation with mentioning 'purveyors' instead of just responding back to Gordon in kind (i.e. just directly admitting "yes"). I'm not sure if it's just me being exposed to these different types of doublespeak frequently but it's not that hard to pick up...especially if you don't initially know what the word "purveyor" means.
I go by Carlin's mantra: "Language always gives you away"
...I'm sure there may be more eloquent quotes but it gets the point across.
Watching that pompous twit get devastated when that auctioneer inspected his art and said it was all reproductions and of no value was one of my favorite moments in TV history.
I hate that dude so much.. He is a reservation only resturant with crappy food. Then tried to blame everything on his staff when called out. Dickbag.
1:17 I’ve never wanted to punch someone so bad
I laugh every time 4:54
