Second best Collector Conversation behind Curtis Arndt. High praise. We have very different taste but this collection is authentic and personal...as they all should be. Great to see a person representing 504.
It’s cool to see that he’s an educator and he’s into such a great, expensive hobby. And yes, you have to buy a few to know what you really like and then grow from there.
To me,the symmetry of a watch dial is destroyed by a date window at 3. And then a loupe on top. Eye-cancer. Love my Pashas and other watches, chronos w date windows at 4:30 or GS's at 4. 6 or 12 is fine w me. Just not 3. 😅
Love leather lady is Nguyen Thuy. I have been buying leather straps from her for a few years now! Sometimes her timing is off but otherwise she's a very nice source) I have 3-4 straps from her. For the price, can't beat it. Especially considering how much some of these Aaron bespoke strapmakers ask for
eclectic and eccentric taste in watches. appreciate his passion (and insanity, which we all have with watches). he's spot on at the end when he says, "buying a bunch of watches is how you figure out what you like!", referring to when one first gets into watch collecting.
One thing I definitely didn't like about this episode (apart from the green painted movement parts on the Benzinger): he mentioned on at least three different occasions that buying a certain watch placed a significant strain on his finances. Why the hell do people do that? How many people in this hobby are buying above their means, shooting themselves in the foot?
It is narcissistic to believe anyone knows or should judge someone’s finances. A strain on finances can also mean he has a mental idea of what he WANTS to spend. People have no idea what his parents or spouse or anything about what makes up his wealth .
Marceau, great to see you talk about your exquisite collection. Just awesome!!!
Incredible collection, Marceau! What a pleasure seeing you and Tim this morning!

watches aside, this guest seems like an exceptionally nice decent guy...
He talks incredibly real and not pretentious for the camera
Thank you for showing us your collection Marceau. Great interview as always Tim .
This is a great 👍🏾 interview! Thoroughly enjoyed this one from Tim & Marceau !
Another fabulous episode. This is what watch collecting should be about.
This is such a crazy cool collection. Love the straps. And also got to meet Marceau, and can confirm, super nice guy!

Exceptional collection of exquisite timepieces.

Fantastic taste!
Stunning design work on the benzinger.
great to see marceau 👌🏻
The Benzinger… WOW
Great diverse collection. Definitely interesting and not the usual Rolex, AP, PP, RM, etc.
Jochen Benzinger has his Workshop 10 miles away from me. Guess I have to start saving😂.
do you have the website to the straps ? cool looking straps
Tim, you know so much about cars! How about a car review channel?!
Love the variety
Who is the strapmaker he uses?
Nice to see someone buying what they like rather than chasing the hype pieces.
Who is the lady in Vietnam who makes the straps?
anyone have a link for the Love Leather bespoke watch strap maker he talks about? Did a cursory google search but no luck.
Same..... couldn't find it as well
Apparently I need to become a teacher ... :o
What kind of collection is this that it doesn't have slight variations of the same 3 watches that thousands of other people also have.
Hi Tim, what is the model of VC automatic chronometer that flashes on screen , roughly at 24:41? Thanks for another informative & enjoyable video! 😊
the Benzinger was the best thinger🤑
To me,the symmetry of a watch dial is destroyed by a date window at 3. And then a loupe on top. Eye-cancer.

6 or 12 is fine w me.
Just not 3.
😅
Everything was fine until he mentioned he has like a million Seiko Samurais like it was nothing, and Tim consent reaction.
Explain more please
Oh no , someone did not rate Seiko in the big three. How dare he have an opinion that is not following the masses .
Tim It would have been great if the watches were worn on the wrist.
Few photos included at end of vid…
Are people in Watchbox even allowed to say the R word again? Whatever happened between Watchbox and that brand that controls 31% of the market???
Tim you are the greatest, but have a haircut and buy some nice clothes.
Why did you say it like that about SEKIO!... " THAT'S SOMETHING ELSE " ☹️
A fun video to watch, two passionate guys talking about watches from all walks of life. Well done!
holy that LUC Chopard......
Really Great collection. LOVE the changes on the straps. Well done
Benzinger 👍👍👍
Great episode! Such a great collection ❤ #NoSafeQueens

How does one get in touch with her?

Very enjoyable program today. Tim is becoming an exceptional interviewer.
Nice humble guy, it’s nice.

Amazing watch collection, wear them in great health 👍🏽
this guest seems like a very nice, easy-going guy and that's a collection with lots of character!
You can tell he buys with his heart
Are you Sophie’s brother?
Always wear what you want. Life is short. Love you watches brother. Very nice. Nice range
Great collection of a genuinely nice guy, his enthusiasm and love of watches is quite engaging.
How can I get in touch with the Vietnamese strap maker?
buddy sounded like sketch in the beginning lol #heybrother
Kool guy and great interview!
The straps are insane !!
No Rolex, no holly trinity
What happened to Tims shirt? Cool guy, not the usual stuff.
That shirt has been maligned by me and others for years. Attempts to get him to stop have all been unsuccessful.
@@BenTramer 😂😂👍
Great conversation, the guest really buys what he likes and enjoys it. Refreshing talk. No AP or Rolex hype stuff. Well done
The GP Laureato Black Ceramic is my absolute favourite one watch collection. Great choice! Would like to know whether this is the 38mm or 42mm size!
Anyone know the love leather strap maker from facebook? Im very interested
Excellent video Tim.

I mean it’s his own money, we’re accustomed to spending stupid amounts on money on cars and nobody bats an eye.
I heard it as jokingly self-depracating humor, not as bitter regret or pain;)
@@saphna2095 I thought the same after his first comment, but then he made at at least two more and it made me wonder :)
I mean I can't know, you might be right:) but I took it as just his style of joking:)
