Lmaooo how us watch nerds justify dropping unreasonable amounts of money on what is essentially an accessory. "No, I haven't been anywhere near the beach in years, but IF I ever did, this watch has 500m of water resistance!"
Wow. Now you just let the world know how truly crazy us watch nerds are by assigning watches to days of the week. That was a Raiders of the Lost Ark secret. Great collection.
If you haven’t gotten a winder for the automatic ones I’d recommend so since most of them have power reserve for less than 3 days. Unless you manually wind them each day then respect to that! 😅
@@extremejoyI have never really understood the appeal of a winder. Paying for a device that takes the joy away of either manually winding or setting the watch yourself before wearing it seems counter-intuitive to me. I can understand that there are days when you don’t want to deal with that or are in a hurry, and when I don’t feel like doing that, I just use my smart watch or grab a quartz 😅.
I go by seasons, two watches for each. It works for me for three reasons. You can match watches to the colors, uses and weather of the season; this gives a long interval where I can miss watches then rediscover them; it gives me a structure for slowly refining the collection without going overboard.
Love the way you start the week with Sunday instead of Monday! The main change I would make if I had your collection is that I would wear the Turtle on Sunday so that I could enjoy seeing the Sunday Day in RED on the Turtle. I love that about Seikos. Great collection!
I totally agree! I've thought about it, but the G shock just works so well on Sunday. The day color is one of the great parts about that date wheel though
I have more than 7 watch collection and I’m retired from work recently so I find myself changing out pieces 2 or 3 times a day. Sometimes I feel like I’m being a little OCD but I like the process of giving more of my collection some spin time rather than letting some sit for weeks or more
If you have a Grand Seiko and a Speedy in your collection, you are all set. That puts a stamp on your collection. All the others like Rolex or Cartier are just nice to have but not essential. This is an amazing collection. BUT… you still have 3 slots left in that box. Molds can get in there if you dont put something. I think you need a gold watch.
Yeah, that's a really well-thought-out collection. I don't have your money lol so my collection looks like this so far... (I am more of a grab-and-go guy due to my lifestyle) My watch wearing is also situational due to that fact. Lorus Lumbrite - Wild Camping and general beater Citizen Bm8180-03e - Smart/Casual reliable field watch Casio G Shock (5610) My Workout/ Mountain Biking and all things crazy watch. Tissot PRX - My work watch Seiko Solar Dive Watch (SNE585P1) - Daily Dive Watch On the list... Seiko Willard - The only automatic watch that will be in my collection for now. The heartbeat of my watch collection and my more premium dive watch. And finally, my grail watch... *GS* (SBGX261)
dude, your collection is awesome. Love your Seiko, I almost bought the same one. I went with a Citizen Fugu as my work beater. I've put it through a lot - very reliable.
Great collection! I personaly think it make more sence to have watches according to your life style, more than the day of the week. Like, to wear with a suit, with casual clothes, special events… more like that, but love the idea of a “Monday Watch”! To start the week strong 😅 Great job
Picked up a AMZWATCH's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
AMZWATCH is one of my favorite watch manufacturers they do offer beautifull dials, good workmanship & moovements. That smooth sweeping second hand is truly mesmerizing!
Big fan of your channel, brother and great collection too. Gotta say, my 124270 Explorer is by far my favorite watch I've ever owned. It's good at doing everything and the 36mm size just fits so well vs the 40+ mm watches I own. Keep up the great content dude!
Whenever I used to see the explorer 1 in videos like these I was never overly impressed. I went to a store to try on a DJ36 in black and they had an explorer 1 so I threw it on and I finally understood.. You have to see that watch in person, it is a beauty
I do the EXACT SAME thing! I sold ALL of my watches - ALL OF THEM - and purchased only 7 watches that I was truly in LOVE with. ONE for every day of the week - including Friday's watch - which is a plastic joke watch that actually keeps incredibly accurate time. I call it the "Friday Folly Watch"! Wednesday is my "Way Back Wednesday Watch" or the "Mid-Week Antique". ETC. The are ALL of my favorites and each has a different story to tell - from history lessons to personal lessons. ONE watch to RULE THE DAY!! 7 watches to set the week!! I LOVE IT!!
Thanks for this vid! Two things! 1) Agree with the sentiments for a watch a day, and when I whip out my 1990s tag aquaracer after a month or two of not wearing, clicking the jangley bracelet just feels right. 2) ever since getting my 39mm explorer, I have found that I rarely want a new watch once I try the new one on in the metal - just me?
Omg, thank you for this video. I never thought to rotate my watches by day of week. Usually I just end up wearing my Panerai or my beater Apple Watch and the rest just collect dust, but now I'm looking forward to try this out.
"It's a good conversation starter...... that never starts any conversations"😂 This is the single best comment on watch UA-cam ever 🏆and I really appreciate you being honest and busting the 'Conversation Starter' myth. My most commented on watch by far is a Seadweller, but A/ They thought it was a Submariner, and B/ I did not want to talk to them 😂 The watches that start conversations (outside of watch guy situations) are ugly things that peoples initial reaction to is WTF! And then they feel the need to comment on the negative facial expression they feel that you might have seen 🤣
Nice collection. I have 5, but I’m selling the King Seiko, because I just don’t need 5 watches lol. Everytime I get around 5-8 watches, I talk myself out of having so many, and I start selling some of them. I guess I’ve just always enjoyed wearing the same couple of watches day in/day out, and also where I’m not a man of considerable means, I really struggle with justifying a larger collection. Anyway here are my watches… 1. My pride and joy, the 3861 Sapphire Speedmaster on bracelet. 2. My second favorite watch, the Tudor BB58 blue on bracelet. 3. King Seiko SJE083 LE 4. Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical (white dial on a variety of natos) 5. And finally, I have the same G Shock GWM5610.
Thanks for the idea of wearing a watch for a day in the week, i am going to implement this now , its actually good practice cause many a times having so many watches can makes me miss out on wearing a watch at least once a month .
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
It’s been a while since I watched your last video and in my mind you were the “one watch collection” guy. Then I saw this and just laughed (because I went down the same path ). Nice collection!
I've recently began my obsession as a watch collector. And i must say- out of all the luxury brands I've been researching, for me the AMZWATCH's watches are the most intriguing.
Can’t beat gold polished Roman numerals that sparkle like jewels in the sunlight. Loving the sun ray dial man that pops!AMZWATCH watches. What a beautiful subtle piece.
That collection is so close to mine... although I don't rank them by days, here's how I would rank mine.... Sunday - GShock MTG-B3000FR (Sun Solar Flare) Monday - Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Stainless Steel & 18k Sedna Gold (Brown Leather Strap) Tuesday - Grand Seiko Tentagraph in Titanium Wednesday - Omega Seamaster 300 Chronograph in Stainless Steel 18k Sedna Gold on rubber strap Thursday - Grand Seiko Snowflake (Spring Drive) Friday - Rolex GMT Master II "Root Beer" Stainless Steel 18k Rolesor Gold Saturday - GShock MRG-B5000B (Retro Square, 1983 Homage)
Nice 7 piece collection. I currently have a 5 piece I rotate through. My 1- Omega Speedmaster Saphire sandwich, 2- Maroon Besel Black Bay 58 Gen 2 version, 3-Seiko with a see-through orange dial, 4- Seakoss Original 1963 Chronograph watch. 5- Zodiac Super Sea Wolf compression Diver automatic with the blue dial.
Nice collection! Only watch I really didn’t like was the Breitling, but like you said, owning watches is about what YOU like. Also, you can never really truly how how great a Grand Seiko dial through video; you have to witness its greatness in person. My Grand Seiko is, hands down, my favorite watch.
Thanks for sharing! I have a GS SBGR255 and you’re right, they sparkle like nothing else and look even better outside the boutique. There’s this silly comparison with Rolex-they both have different but strong design languages.
Hi Harrison Great collection. And you seem to be sticking to your personal taste whether it’s cheap or expensive watches. That’s how it’s done when building a collection that will satisfy you in the long run... I don’t rotate watches day by day as you, but I do regularly “rediscover” a piece and wear it for some time - often for weeks. For the hard work I have the same GShock as you, but with the negative dail. I’m lusting for an Explorer 1. But will it ever get of my wrist if I buy one🤔😆 Great video, mate
Great collection and explanations for when you wear each watch. I have more than 7 watches now, so I don't have a day of the week for each, but I have certain activities and outfits that I have planned for each watch. I often change watches throughout the day depending upon the activity.
As you said on the beginning, this collection doesn’t fit my needs, but I really enjoyed watching why is perfect for you. And that’s the beauty of this hobby, there’s a cup of tea for everyone
Out of your 7, I own two. the G-Shock DW-5600 and Rolex Explorer Ref 114270... a must-have for 7 piece collection. I like your collection. Good review.
First we start with 7 watches to have one for every day… then we upgrade to 12 watches to have one for each month… and then we upgrade to 31 to have one for each day of the month, then we upgrade to 52 to have one for each week of the year… and finally we upgrade to 366 to have one for each day of the year… not sure what’s come next, I’m not there…. Yet :)
I was like this a year ago. 6-7 watches trying to fill roles for each. Have since consolidated to three heavy hitters I can wear whenever I want and I couldn't be happier.
Nice group! Those are all watches I've thought about or already owned. I don't have advice because you have to buy what fits your lifestyle. Looks like most have more of a dressy element to them, so I like the pelagos 39 tossed in there. Enjoy!
I like that you have the emblematic models from each brand and there will be timeless too.I cant imagine that they will not produce these watches in future.
I had a 7 watch collection and sold 2 of them and now I have 5 that I rotate throughout the work week. Sold below. 1.) Tag Aquaracer WBP1110.BA0627 2.) Cartier Santos medium white dial. 5 I wear 1.) Tissot PRX powermatic 80 2.) Grand Seiko GMT SBGM221 3.) Konstantin Chaykin (Reolica 😜) 4.) Omega Aqua Terra Seamaster 5.) Rolex Explorer If anyone wants to trade watches I am looking to upgrade to one solid everyday watch. I have box and papers for all except the Chaykin.
Great video and a measured collection, bravo! I've got a solid 3 on rotation: Black Bay 54 serves me as your Explorer 1 does you (work + dinner + GADA if it came to it) G-Shock 5000U for G-Shock needs or casual. Garmin Fenix 6 that goes from my local runs to the top of mountains. I'd be lost without it. Smart watch features need not apply. I've been thinking of a 4th - something playful like the Brew Metric Retro - some colour and chronograph fun. That's a pending slot ATM. Keep the content coming 😊
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the AMZWATCH, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Great video man! TOTALLY LOVE IT. Very unique watches too....after looking at this, I will do same for every day of the week! It's a great way to rotate and give each watch equal wrist time..
I came across this video by chance while watching a video on the Oris Coulson and found that for whatever reason I totally “related” to your collection (thought it was great) despite the fact the only watch I share (and even then a different model) from my ten watch collection… is the G-Shock. Totally enjoyed your video LOL 😂
Okay, great collection and day of the week wear schedule. However, since your watch box holds 10 you should fill those last spots. Brainstorming ideas: (8) vacation watch (e.g., Citizen PCAT), (9) special occasion watch (e.g., Rolex datejust on jubilee bracelet), and (10) nostalgia watch (e.g., either something from a family member or a modern version thereof).
Dude we nearly have the same collection.. I just also need the Grand Seiko and the Explorer II (in white)😂 - you have a good taste! Cheers from Switzerland! 🇨🇭
Ok, my fone is definitely listening to my thoughts. Last night I was thinking about 7 watches being enough… and wondering which 3 I’d add to my collection. And now this vid pops up!!!!!!! Except for the Grand Seiko we are on the same page😳
Great vid Harrison!! Just making sure you got the Jubilee from the 126710 for your Explorer II? I've also been thinking about a Jubilee for mine, smaller links make me worry less about scratches than the big open links of the Oyster. Let me know please!! And also how did you get it? AD?
I now have ten watches, you're Breitling reminds me of my Movado Circa on brown leather band. I have my Eco Citizens & Seiko Persages for daily use but I picked up a never worn 2022 Tudor Black Bay Crono Panda version for 4k. Its my crown Jewell & I'm done! Lol
I loved the monday watch, I always found navigation/aviator watches so cool and your idea for mondays is great! I'll buy one of those one day, a more affordable one hehe
Nice collection, I like your choices. I like how you have one for each day of the week. Then that limits your collection. Most of your watches are grail watches for a lot of people. Great that you are using all of them.
I appreciate your video and the "7 days collection" concept. That said, "$400 is a lot of money for a watch," when your collection has a Grand Seiko, Breitling, Omega, and 2 Rolex watches? For me, and most people (I would guess), "dream on!"
Super cool with the bracelet on the Explorer 2. is that a Bracelet of the 126710, or is it a super jubilee from 116234 Datejust with the clasp of an 126710? Thanks for reply to Norwegian nerd, want that combo for my 16710. All the best Patrick
Wow a truly great and refined collection! Love the tan strap on the Speedy. Can you provide a link? You've got 3 emoty spaces in your box though..lol. Need a blue dial mate. How about a IWC Mark XX?
Absolutely fantastic collection. The Navitimer is a perfect finisher. Didn’t you used to have the Breitling Pistachio? I recently picked one up on eBay from a Japanese seller for 5K. It’s an incredible watch for summer.
Yes I did. Amazing watch. I definitely considered keeping it and it's on a short list of things I'd consider bringing back. I'd have to sell something to swap it in, so it's a hard choice. Great watch though.
@@HarrisonElmore It's an incredible dial and has marvelous finishing. That's awesome you had it as well and would consider bringing it back. You may have noticed the crown is a little sharp to the touch, I'm wondering if it will dull over time in a good way. I asked Teddy Baldassare if taking a cape cod cloth to it might help, but he recommended not doing that.
@@ViolinistWilliamyou could dull it, but cape cod probably isn’t aggressive enough to do it without a lot of work. A polishing wheel would work better and then come back with something to polish the bevels you create. Not the easiest with a small part and would be easier with the crown out. Quality of the work would also be dependent on comfort level with those tools

great collection Harrison !!.. this is my 7 day rotation: op36, bb58, tank solarbeat, exp36, pelagos39, swatch blancpain, moon swatch. thoughts?
Tank solarbeat... how do you resist not wearing that every day? Personally, since I got it, I feel bad for the rest of my collection.
Nice group! Those are all watches I've thought about or already owned. I don't have advice because you have to buy what fits your lifestyle. Looks like most have more of a dressy element to them, so I like the pelagos 39 tossed in there. Enjoy!
Throw the last two in the trash because other than that your collection is amazing!
Loved seeing a Sapphire Sandwich defender.
I like that you have the emblematic models from each brand and there will be timeless too.I cant imagine that they will not produce these watches in future.
I had a 7 watch collection and sold 2 of them and now I have 5 that I rotate throughout the work week. Sold below.
1.) Tag Aquaracer WBP1110.BA0627
2.) Cartier Santos medium white dial.
5 I wear
1.) Tissot PRX powermatic 80
2.) Grand Seiko GMT SBGM221
3.) Konstantin Chaykin (Reolica 😜)
4.) Omega Aqua Terra Seamaster
5.) Rolex Explorer
If anyone wants to trade watches I am looking to upgrade to one solid everyday watch. I have box and papers for all except the Chaykin.
Great video and a measured collection, bravo!
I've got a solid 3 on rotation:
Black Bay 54 serves me as your Explorer 1 does you (work + dinner + GADA if it came to it)
G-Shock 5000U for G-Shock needs or casual.
This guys life is held together by watches lmao
Great video man! TOTALLY LOVE IT. Very unique watches too....after looking at this, I will do same for every day of the week! It's a great way to rotate and give each watch equal wrist time..
Great collection and smart decision about limiting the number on the week’s days! I have now 12 watches and I find it difficult to wear them all
I came across this video by chance while watching a video on the Oris Coulson and found that for whatever reason I totally “related” to your collection (thought it was great) despite the fact the only watch I share (and even then a different model) from my ten watch collection… is the G-Shock.
Totally enjoyed your video LOL 😂
I do a rotation too. When something falls out of the rotation, it’s time to move it. Nice collection my man…
what a wonderful collection ! this man is a very happy watch geek :) wear them in good health and enjoy the hell out of each one good sir.
Highly esteemed and elegant collection. One thing I must say, you know enough about your watches and how to use them.
thank you for sharing your 7 day watch collection what a great idea for us watch nerds
Nice! I find that my taste has evolved from Swiss vintage and the classics to high end SLA Seikos, 300m Marine Masters and Grand Seikos.
Great collection.
Thanks!
AD?
Yeah super curious
I think he got it from the super clone $600 batgirl. Check out his other video and also how he destroyed the watch head but not the bracelet.
@@kamminsan Interesting. I've been following his videos for a while and he doesn't strike me as the guy who would use a fake bracelet.
Love that Omega, strap and clasp combo. Very good looking timepiece.
Great video. Quick question what straps do u have on the Navi Timer and the speed master?
Are you no longer using the Apple Watch Ultra at all? Curious because I’m deciding whether or not I should keep mine.
"I'm done, I swear." Yea..... I've heard that one before! 😅
I think the explorer 2 is my favourite watch within your collection. Well done.
Nice collection, I like your choices. I like how you have one for each day of the week. Then that limits your collection. Most of your watches are grail watches for a lot of people. Great that you are using all of them.
Nice collection. Glad you're mostly happy with your collection. Not sure how you're done tho. Theres always another watch goal.
Personally I would have an 8-watch collection, in which the 8h one's for special occasions.
I appreciate your video and the "7 days collection" concept. That said, "$400 is a lot of money for a watch," when your collection has a Grand Seiko, Breitling, Omega, and 2 Rolex watches? For me, and most people (I would guess), "dream on!"
Wow, this video sold me on the Explorer 2 and Grand Seiko. Excellent presentation!
Super cool with the bracelet on the Explorer 2. is that a Bracelet of the 126710, or is it a super jubilee from 116234 Datejust with the clasp of an 126710?
Thanks for reply to Norwegian nerd, want that combo for my 16710.
All the best
Patrick
Just bought the 16710, and need the same jubilee configuration you have on your 16570 :D
Thanks! :)
You’re much more organized than me. I open my watch box in the morning and then make my pick
Nice watches! Out of my ten watch collection, I have four of the ones you have so we both have great taste! ; )
Wow a truly great and refined collection! Love the tan strap on the Speedy. Can you provide a link?
You've got 3 emoty spaces in your box though..lol. Need a blue dial mate. How about a IWC Mark XX?
the most complete collection a man could dream for
Absolutely fantastic collection.
The Gshock intro was why I subscribed and I own some serious watches but love my Gshock
Great Video, I spotted the Artem’s before you said, I’m sure you already know but you should put product placement up when you promote a product!
That grand seiko is so nice , could easily be a one watch collection
I’m watching this on a Sunday wearing the exact same G-Shock! Great choice!
