Chris Li on Vacheron Constantin, Model Cars, TAG Heuer, and the People Behind the Brands
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 сер 2024
- One of the most important factors of collecting for Chris Li is the people you get to share the hobby with along the way, so he joins Tim to talk about his collection of watches and model cars and the stories behind them. Whether it’s acquiring a Vacheron Constantin Overseas to remind him of his music group or an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore while with a group of friends, many of his stories relate to the people that the watches remind him of from his many years collecting. TAG Heuer, H. Moser & Cie., Grand Seiko, and more are all discussed in this episode of Collector Conversation.

AP boutique’s favorite customer, the man who willingly buys offshores!
Chris is the type of guy that everyone wants on their speed dial. What a legend, thank you for this lovely discussion.
Chris is a legend in fighting games. Evo is *the* tourney.
‘Shoutout to the FGC’
I love seeing a humble and passionate man share his story
Really loved how Chris talked about the relationships with people at Brew and GS, while also speaking to how a friendship drew him towards that G-Shock journey. Collecting is often about accumulating "things", but it's so fulfilling to accumulate human relationships along the way too.
That AP is a really stunner.
Chris, I have known you for years and I never knew this ‘watch’ side of you! We’ve got plenty to catch up on next time I see you! Excellent conversation piece
Great 👍🏾 video Chris Li !! Loved it, thank you 🙏🏾 Tim
Great collection, great conversation and I love the fact that he actually wears them!👍
As someone who is from the Esports industry and is a fan of watches. That Carrera story was incredible!
Great collector story! This guy is legit…thanks for sharing his journey.
That's the nicest Zenith I've seen so far...!👍
Amazing episode!! Great job, Chris. 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Fun video. His enthusiasm shines through!
Ahh, good old watch people. Heart warming.
Love the fact that Chris has his first watch from the 80s…cool and humble guy! Great segment!
These coversations are so good
That GShock story is just like my Swatch, the place you eventually find them is not the place you can ever imagine placing it. Its like some1 took it and place it there.
Very good diverse collection. Such a passionate watch enthusiast
Thank you Tim & Team.
Great Episode!!
Can’t believe I didn’t see this when it came out and glad to see you doing so well Chris. Also funny to see we both ended up being into watches.
Chris Great collection and conversation! Love the g shock story and the carrera! Never thought I'd see EVO mentioned in this. Love the Red moser and I might be looking into those new Brew automatics. I've always loved the el primero, i'm hoping to find the rignt one, one of these days. Always a pleasure listening to these.
That metal Gshock punches above its weight. I’ve owned mine for 2 years and love it.
Always the PERFECT time, solar, multiple alarms, hourly chimes, and even a phone-finder function.
2 years almost 3 for me. Wear it daily
Cool guy. Unique collection. Refreshing to not see a bunch of Rolexes!
Brilliant video
Black and Red with an Iron Cross.
Aesthetic game on point.

Dude, I’m totally bugging out right now….my parents bought a Plymouth Volaré station wagon new in 1976, burgundy with the “wood” siding! Ours had the 318 V8, so when I began to drive it my junior year of high school, you know I had to find out how long of a burnout it would do! Thanks so much, I really enjoyed this one.
The metal g shock square is my daily watch. For 2 years. It’s beaten to hell and I love it more everyday.
Very cool collection! Love the diversity and the cool Timex Iron Man. Used it a lot for jogging when I was young!😁
BREW needs to bring back the salmon dial
Well done!
Great to see his heavy hitters arent locked in a safe, but worn.
Legend!
TAG 🏎
He really wears these watches. You can tell he does not baby them.
Joe Kirk is the man…
I was very happy that Joe was mentioned. He's a great asset to the watch community.
Best,
Tim
Folks like Joe Kirk and Tim Mosso are assets to the watch world
Why nobody cleans their watches 😂
If you are reading this you are special and don't forget to poop!
@@adolf-8834Make sure to brush your teeth too! AND FLOSS!
Hi Tim - do you feel naked without sunglases on your forehead?
