- In 1998, the nu metal band Korn would release their third album "Follow the Leader". Already picking up a following with the previous works, they would make the nu metal genre go mainstream due in part to the music video to their classic "Freak on a Leash". On this session of Music Video Time we will be looking at how the music video was made.

Crazy that the husband and wife duo who directed this music video also went on to direct 2006’s, “Little Miss Sunshine” 7 years later.
7:35 "Do the Evolution" is one of my favorite music videos from the late '90s. There really should be a Music Video Time about that one.
This song and video is what got me into rock music.
Amazing job, missed the Nu metal era of music
Great video
"AA WEE BUMBUM AA BEE BUMBUM AA SEBUM" - Kevin Korn
I love that this was an anti-gun violence video and conservative America misinterpreted it as hard as they possibly could
That "Buttress" guy was a fucking dumbass.
Misinterpretation is what conservative America does best.
Bro, Follow The Leader was released in August of 1998. Then their next album Issues was released in late 1999. It says 1999 in the description
Fixed the description.
The greatest Pumpkins video clip, imo, is _Ava Adore._
But the Greatest Video Clip of all-time?
→ We all know that to be Beyonce, right...?? 🌝
Buttressed?...buttressed 😂
Tonight, Tonight is absolutely one of the greatest music videos of all time, if not the greatest.
Today is the greatest... 🌝
But seriously, I like _Ava Adore_ best.
I like _1979._
And _Bullet W/ Butterfly Wings..._
And _Tonight, tonight!_ 🤷♂️
But _Ava Adore_ takes the cake for me. All in one shot, with those Wes Anderson type lateral moves between different scenes & stages.
Such an elegant, well orchestrated piece.
@@lueyteledeluxe7457 I love the MV for Rocket too.
@@lueyteledeluxe7457 Yeah, Tonight, Tonight is their best music video all things considered...in fact, it's probably the best MV of all time let's be real! You can deny it all you want, but you know I'm speaking the truth...Today is cool too, but it's not on the level of Tonight, Tonight as a Music Video! Absolutely not!!
Yippie, now how about a video on "Bitter Sweet Symphony" by The Verve.
