andyward1000@Kanegreenwood TOOK A WANDER ALONG THE VALLEY, DUE TO HIGH WINDS AND A LIGHTWEIGHT TENT I STAYED OFF THE SUMMITS. COULDNT HAVE WENT ANY BETTER, SO RELAXING AND CHILLED OUT. LAST CAMP FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS. GOOD WAY TO START MY BREAK..

Brilliant video. They reckon if you lived off something such as only rabbit meat you would get protein poisoning, which is nicknamed "rabbit starvation". I remember that from the end of the film Into the Wild. I hope the next camp is a cracker

Cheers mick. Yeah tents less than 1kg but really small. For me at least. I like a bit more space. Saying that I’ve used it loads. Cracking pitch though. Definitely going again. Atb. 👍
Hi Andy, I'm from Cramlington and love watching your videos. I really respect and appreciate you for pointing out about leaving fire burns on the ground and also of course the LeaveNoTrace importance.
I get away for many hikes in the Cheviots and the Lake District every other week or so and I can remember the stream hopping coming down from the Cheviot very recently that way. 🙂👍
I have only done a couple of wild camps but no solo ones and I'd love to kick on and get a few done and get some new kit at some point.

Just got the women's neoair very happy with it! I have the forclaz trek 900 bag from decathlon had it down to below freezing but its a light summer bag really, plus small packsize and variety of sizes 👍

Lush spot that mind. Always been a super quiet hike up to cheviot that route. The house is private belongs to estate. They use it all summer ☀️. I love the treacherous hike up to hedgehope from there. Gets the lungs open. The hope is a lush waterfall. Ya should have gone in man. Really enjoyed ya video. Take care 🙂

I've got that may and have used it in Scotland last week and for the weight and storage size it's spot on

It is a good spot in certain cases. Not midge season though 😖 dunno about the tent. Might auction it see how it goes. Atb 👍

I have thought about getting that tent, pretents soloist is it? Only really cos I was intrigued by the door tbh 😂
Came to my senses and realised I've essentially got the same tent in the Lanshan 1 2021 for less cash, and it's fine for what I do.
Nice to see someone drinking my local brew from Saltaire.
The lanshan is probably better for space and layout. The pretents is too small for me personally. The material is super quality though. That’s the difference. But yeah. Stick with the lanshan. I do like the door on the pretents mind. 👍

It’s nice to get a chilled one now and then mate. I was above byness on Friday night on the border ridge. Windy as hell a lashed down. Wasn’t happy. What garmin are you using. I’ve just bought a tactix delta solar haven’t got a clue how to use it 🤣
I stayed low due to the wind forecast like. The tent in this wouldn’t be enjoyable 😂 mines the fenix 6s. Just a cheap one like 🤦♂️ look on UA-cam for tutorials I’ve learned a lot. 👍
