Having seen Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweets in Louisville, KY a few years back Nathaniel attempted to speak out about the children caught up in school shootings that are affecting our nation, but stumbled over his words and moved on to the next song. When I hear this song think to what he was trying to say. When I hear this song I hear a man of deep emotion feeling helpless he can't stop what needs to end. I hear a man confused why more isn't being done by all of us who share the pain against madness but do nothing. I hear a man torn inside that all he can do is raise his voice. A very powerful song and a testament to the love that resides in Nathaniel's mind and soul. The song is beautiful because it's true. The song is true because it's beautiful. Godspeed Nathaniel.

Just saw the show sat in the 4th row San Diego. It was Awesome.
This video really shows how beautiful nature is, and maybe we take it for granted. Compared to those city shots it is just stunning. Never been to the ocean. One day I will go, Soon.
Best album yet.
Oh my gosh. I just found this thanks to Indie Shuffle. I have GOOSEBUMPS! I'm 51. I have heard a lot of music in my life. This one is a special gem. Wow. This should be in a music soundtrack. Never stop. Never give up. You are so very talented!
Every time I listen to this song I find new meaning. Every time I listen it draws up a spring of emotion. Fantastic!
My heart and soul needed exactly this. Thank you

Amazing artist. Love all his music.
Nathaniel,
I love your melodies and your voice really speaks to me. Your songs seem heartfelt and genuine which is great to hear in these very odd times that we are all in.
Thank you for doing what you do. I truly appreciate your music. I hope to see you in a concert environment one day when this pandemic is behind us.

What a beautiful voice. This man could sing out the dictionary and I'd pay good money just to hear him
When so many videos are crap nowadays this one is simply beautiful!! I NEED to DL this video.
This song and the video are beautiful ways to represent the times and situation we're in now. Empty streets and being alone makes time feel frozen. Love this 🖤
