  • I can't tell you all how excited I am about these Stilettos. Right off the bat I noticed an improved ride quality that I wasn't expecting. The install is pretty straight forward and the instructions are very detailed. I would highly recommend getting a set of these if you are into off-roading at all. If you're interested go check them out at gleaming-alloy.... Currently D said he still has a few pre production models left that he'll sell at a discount over what the production models will cost. He also has for sell some added under body protection for the KL called XO plates. Check those out as well.
    Hope the video was helpful and as always feel free to ask me any questions you've got on them. I'm always happy to help when I can!

    It looks cool! That said , Teraflex has your spring sitting straight in the rear because they angle the lift.

    With the new Stiletto arms they don't make any noise when you go over an obstacle on the rear wheels? I'm not saying it's a loud sound but a different sound from the original arms

    Time for a dumb question. I’m currently using the lower control arms to jack up the back with a floor jack. Once I put the stilettos on then where to lift? Floor jacks don’t fit in the factory jack spots. Is there some type of adapter I can get so when I put the stilettos on I have somewhere to jack up the vehicle. Thank you.

      If you get the 2” Dobinsons-specific Stilettos, you’ll remove your MFC spacers when installing the control arms and maintain your current (3”) lift. They’re basically designed to replace an MFC 2” lift and keep the same height.

    • @MootsKLAdventure
      @MootsKLAdventure  Рік тому +1

      My alignment was pretty far off when I finished so definitely plan on getting an alignment done after installing any of the lifts out there. I had the HS on before I replaced it with the Stiletto's. The ride quality is better now than it was. I had no issues with the ride quality with the HS lift but it is smoother with the Stiletto's. I'd say if you're on a tight budget or not planning on doing much off roading then the HS lift is a great option. The Stiletto's are really for those that plan on getting into some more difficult trails. Most of what I run I'd be fine with sticking with the HS lift but I want the added ability just in case. I should clarify that I still have the HS lift on the front as well.
