@@donesry2902 Yes, very much so. I think the contrast of the cherry to the walnut in addition to the texture is my favorite part of this table. I really want to do more on the right project.
That is gorgeous! All of it, I love the mid century with the joinery, the contrast of walnut and cherry is beautiful with the stunning taper… all of it I’m in love and might have to borrow this as inspiration! One minor change and just because I’m obsessed and tried it for myself is rather than epoxy and black pigment I’d use real copper or brass powder mixed into the epoxy for the hole fills! I don’t know why but there’s something so natural and raw about it. I did learn from using copper powder/epoxy musekf is make that mixture thick like peanut butter with brass/copper being a little more than half to epoxy ratio or till peanut butter consistency and then tape over the show face and flip it so gravity pulls that heavy metal powder up to the surface! Anyways, absolutely high quality and a generational piece
Thank you! I have grown to dislike the legs on this table. I should've tucked them in from the top but they are even with it. I was going to fix it in a video but my wife likes it as is and took it away. I have used copper and brass powder in the past. The copper just looks pink and the brass looked alright. For the right project I would try the brass powder again but don't think I would do the copper again. Thanks for watching!
Mad respect for your craftsmanship...redesign of legs definitely a homerun! Really like combo of walnut & cherry...otherwise, you and those goats, too funny...thanks for sharing and consider yourself subscribed!
Thanks for subscribing and thanks for the compliments. My skills have certainly improved this last year for a couple of reasons. 1 is a workbench for holding wood and the other is being home full time.. Nothing beats practice.. Thanks for watching.
Thanks! I don't do plans unfortunately and the more I look at this table I dislike it. I like the top but the legs needed to be squeezed in and not even with the top. A bit of a furniture fail. What material are you looking for?
@@hillbillychic3933 You’re too hard on yourself. That’s a really nice looking table. I like the contrast between the cherry and walnut . You are creative and your craftsmanship is admirable.
@@keith7630 Well thank you! The top is like a bullseye in darts (I really like the top) and the legs are like I missed the board completely. I was going to turn it into a coffee table but my wife likes it so it remains as is.
@@hillbillychic3933 I have to agree with your wife. I like the legs the way they are. I think it fits the overall look. I do know the feeling, though, of not being satisfied with the outcome of a project, but it does help when other people praise it. 👍🏻😁
Nice work. It looks like a really nice table and one similar to what I want to build. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching! After living with it for a while I wish I had brought the legs in a bit and let the cherry ends overhang the legs.
@@hillbillychic3933 are you still happy with the texture on the cherry ends? I like the look but I wonder how they do over time...

That's a beauty ! (I'm glad I'm not the only one with multiple pairs of "readers" next to me at any given time).
Sprinkled throughout the shop and sad to say it's about time I bumped up to 1.5's
beautiful and perfectly proportioned. I can look at it all day.
Thanks Luca!
That's a masterpiece 👍. Truly a craftsman.
Thank you very much!

Great work, the table is special and wonderful!!! I liked it, Like!
Thank you very much!
Great video and beautiful table. I just stumbled on your channel and I'm glad I did! Thanks for the great content.
Thanks for watching!
Well done. Love the legs 2.0
Thanks! I'm happy with them but thing I could have squeezed the legs in a bit so the tabletop stuck out a couple inches further. Next one..
Great build. Looks stunning.
Thank you!
Great video! Funny thing is that when you posted a picture of starting the texturing I said to myself...'doesn't he have a CNC machine?'
Next time the tenons for the breadboards will be a CNC job but doing the texture was actually kind of fun. Thanks for watching!
I loved your recent video showcasing the Console table. Do you have woodworking plans available for it or know where I could access more material?
