  • [Order No.2111 / Counter Table & Counter Chairs ]
This time we used chestnut wood that has been naturally dried for over 20 years.
There are some holes for fixing screws at the bottom of the table as a countermeasure against earthquakes in Japan.
    今回天板に使用したのは、20年以上自然乾燥した栗の耳付き板です。
    背の高いカウンターテーブルなので、脚元に地震対策の転倒防止用の金具が付けられるようお作りしました。

Absolutely beautiful. I love to watch Natsuki plan each joint and shape; and that half dovetail double joint in the top, back, middle on the stretcher...are you kidding me? That might be the neatest joint I've ever seen. It's just amazing how much talent this craftsman has. Thank you Ishitani family for sharing!

It's nice to see that Shiro is not letting up on Natsuki to produce only the finest craftsmanship. And of course...Chie and her unrelenting desire to produce videos that capture the beauty of the artistry must be getting an appreciative smile from Shiro also! Nice work as usual from the Ishitanis thanks to Shiro! That Shiro really knows "top notch" talent. (applause)

Well said. As I start making videos (fast paced thus far), I yearn to learn this calm pacing--it's not easy, takes a specific mindset when setting up and filming a scene. I'll be sure to bear this in mind as I continue shooting my current project.

Another master class on how to care about the details. What people should take away from Ishitani san is the consistency in showcasing quality and the desire for wanting to strive for perfection. It is one thing to make a piece of furniture once and spending the time to the details, it is totally another game when you do it across your body of work. Wonder any of the customers have seen any of these videos and shared their thoughts.
