just ran across your channel last night. been on a binge since. Wow! I did not in my wildest dreams believe that dent would come out like that. I have worked in metal shaping and had a body shop for a few years (pre PDR). That repair was the best I've seen. Art, pure art!

thanks Myke. amazing art. the cost if close to or even less than 40% than body shop, they will conventional. I thought the price set time by time depend on the market.
Thank you. I created a full tutorial on how I proved this repair. (I should have put it in the video) and to be honest PDR should cost more because it’s a far superior repair.
And when I do make a claim for the customer, if the insurance likes to debate with me in regards to the cost I
just tell them to write it up conventional and it’s pretty much close to my estimate or more.
I understand the value of my service. I don’t cut corners and I definitely don’t compromise or cut corners when it comes to the quality of the customers repair. Therefore I’m always going to ask for the cost that it’s worth for me to fix.

What light stand are you using for your emimadent? Is that a custom built? I have the suction cup style but would like to have it on a device like that from time to time.
It’s from UltraDentTools and the adapter called Medusa is from Elimadent that connects power and light on the pole.
I feel like the amount of money is an absolute rip off but there is no denying you've got some fucken skills because I didn't think you could get a Dent out that severe... I mean you didn't even crack the paint! Great job!!!

And I just did a live video showing almost exactly that. However an extensive dent like this you would never do such a thing because Dents require different types of tools and tips while the dent becomes smaller and more meticulous.

That's actually a good dent. Why? No paint damage or cracks.
Nice jod but 1500 seems high the body shop I work at would have fixed it for about 700 In 2 days with a free detail and a hundred dollars off the deductible with life time warranty.
That’s not high at all. That’s actually close to what conventional cost. Pdr isn’t always cheaper than a body shop… It’s just always better.

Most pdr people are not certified to even aim that head light after reinstalling it and proudly dont even have a head light aiming tool and dont know to do It correctly you got to put 150 pounds in the drivers seat says toyota and save the certified adjustment print out but each to their own way.

🤔 Are you saying that as a known fact or insecurity about PDR techs getting paid just as much as a body shop or more?
Because I know. I feel you. Body men are getting screwed by the insurance companies because they rather have you replace than fix.
However you don’t make any money because they won’t pay you for the hours.
I know the game, trust me. But it’s not a PDR techs fault.
Paintless dent removal will only get better and better as a whole. The repairs are cleaner, faster and keep the resale value of a vehicle.
But don’t hate on PDR.
By the way.. we PDR techs aren’t dumb as we look.. where do you think we learned our lessons about being dictated what we should charge.. you guessed it.. the body shops. 😉
