It's not the tools, its the man behind them that makes the magic.
Thank you so much for your kind words
I gained IQ just by watching this video. Again, superb technical repair! The explanation of aluminium vs metal repair is spot on and the way you explain it is perfect. Great job good sir.
Wow thanks! Your really liking my videos it’s a pleasure to read your nice feedback
I try my best with all the videos I make to show as much as possible. I hope you can take something away from the vids
Thanks Martin
Amazing Job Martin, those types of jobs I think are always a gamble as you just never know how the Aluminium is going to react. Having years of experience and lots of skill help on these jobs and you have plenty of both, well done, super clean repair, customer must have been over the moon! 🌜🌜🌜
Hi Jake thanks! Yea I get a lot of jobs where it’s a “see how it goes” I knew it was going to be tough but to be fair it went very well..... just took a lot to flatten it out 😂
Managed to get it sub 30mins too 😂👍🏻
Thanks for commenting and watching Jake...
Martin
Best, I’m mean the best detailed pdr video I have ever watched! Well done for showing every stage of repair on this difficult part of aluminium panel. No drilling, no fake after repair shots, all done with proper way of PDR. Martin you’re doing fantastic work showing the public all secrets of paintless dent repair, and also very nice to see how Your UA-cam channel is growing! My hat is off for you 👌
Hi Marek thanks!! I tried my best to show all the main areas of the repair and explain the best I could! Was hard work! If you look closely you’ll see my watch flick up the time throughout the vid!
Take care and see you in near future hopefully at a meet/show
Thanks Martin
Great job bud!
Yeah they felt that for a few days.
Love the Dent Cam.
Haha I bet
I spent long time watching PDR techs on youtube, and by far you are the best among them. Great work, great explanation, great filming, and great personality. Love you man and thanks for teaching us ❤️
Hi Bilal thank you so much I really appreciate your feedback. My aim is to show anyone what I’m repairing without all the whistles and bangs, il continue to add as much content and value to my future videos and very happy I can help you and others
Take care, Martin

Hi Martin. Hot glue a large washer over the access hole and remove with alcohol after the repair. Fantastic video as usual thanks.
Beautiful repair Martin! Any one that has never worked aluminum could not begin to understand how difficult that repair was and you glassed it ! 👍👊
Hi John thanks for watching and commenting..... yes it’s a lot harder to work on than steel for sure! Just need time and patience and it will be sorted!!
Take care Martin
Great craftsmanship
Thanks Stephen
Awesome work. Very professional. 👍
I think yourself and Jake should do a big repair together. That would make a great video.
Thanks again Jasaba I will ask Jake and see what he says! Although he’s about 4 hours from me!
@@dentremover01 oh is he. Might be difficult that one lol.
Great job full of details.
Thank you John Merry Christmas

Thanks Kevin. This dent was quite tough but I was amazed with the end result. I really appreciate your feedback on it. Are you going to the MTE in January?
@@dentremover01 I'm not sure about MTE yet but that sure would be a lot of fun!
Ah ok. Hopefully things change and you can go 😊
Holy cow that came out PERFECT. Even with two full days i don’t think i could have gotten it THAT clean. Absolutely no distortion! You set the bar INCREDIBLY high lol

Fantastic job never seen it done before you must be in great demand.
Genuinely.. Your material is really really good.. Excellent upload.. Seriously good breakdown.. Really nice and refreshing.. No loud music.. Fancy graphics and bull... Just a genuine tradesman 👍 much respect from Galway 👌
Thank you Emy Bear really appreciate your comment. I don’t like putting music on my vids as it’s difficult to find decent tracks and also in the past I haven’t been very vocal so needed to bulk the vid out.
I take all comments on board and hopefully my next repair you’ll also like
Thanks Martin
Wonderful job
Watched a few videos by this man recently and found them to be very informative. I was amazed some years ago by a successful PDR repair on my car & intrigued ever since. Recently after the misfortune to have a minor door ding on the panel crease I attempted this myself by the push method he demonstrates & achieved a most successful result.
Thank you for the well presented information on technique.👍
Great repair. Great job!
Absolutely superb results and all fully explained, the lined card gives an excellent view of the recovery process, now a subscriber.
Hi Martin what can I say absolutely amazing thank you sir. 🇬🇧

I’m loving “the reason I’m not taking the hood off is because I can repair it with the hood on”.
Perfect reason.
Sorry bonnet not hood, Americans, right!
😂👍
Yea exactly! Lazy with style! Just landed in key West and wow what a drive
@@dentremover01 Hey Martin, what did U think of the Keys?
Oh yeah the drive can get a little monotonous especially across Alligator Alley.
We use to go down to Marathon Key to go lobstering every summer, nothing like diving all day, showering then grilling fresh lobsters for dinner.
Jaime says hello and she hoped y’all had a great great time.
@@dingking7577 it was great! Yes the drive is a killer though especially keeping to the speed limit and all those cop cars at every junction! Will definitely go to the keys again and stay longer. We saw all the fisherman on the way so must be a popular spot
We’re going back soon! Hi Jamie 👋🏻
Amazing work matewell done💪🏼💪🏼👍🏻
Excellent clean repair!
Thanks Nik!
nice job, not an easy one to get rid of, thank you for the video,
Hi Mr Grumpy, thank you very much for your comment and very happy you enjoyed it. Yes it was a bad one to do but it came out great I suprised myself!

it was top, congratulations 🙂👏👏
Thank you Fernando 👍🏻
Awesome panel repair skills ... make it look easy but I'd bet my shirt it's definately not, unless of course you're properly trained. Brilliant
Very nice work and impressive job.
Hi Shakeel thank you for your comment and for watching 👍🏻
Another high quality repair mate. Great work...look forward to the next one😉👍
Thanks Adam very happy you enjoyed it 👍🏻
Thank you so much ❤️
Excellent work, Man. Very impressive. Loved the final result but I couldn't help but be bothered by the poor condition of the paint. Hopefully the car owner kept their appointment with you and had the car detailed. I'm sure that was a tedious job.
Great video mate and perfect repair as always 👌
Thank you very much Andy !

Muy buen trabajo 👍!

Another mint video Martin 😁 amazing how you are able to read the metal and anticipate how it will react!
Hi Lee thanks for watching, yes it takes a lot of experience and a bit of luck (I think) to repair some of these dents I fix.... this one came out great that’s why I’m proud to show people it!
Take care, Martin

Nice repair Martin that looked a tight little bugger.. nice quality Repair..
Hi Andrew thank you, very happy you enjoyed the video 😊👍🏻
Good job thx ...
Thank you too!
You are absolutely amazing! You also took into account the orange peel. An artist!
Thanks for your comment, yes the paint texture is very important and using a fog board is usually better to maintain the texture, but with time and patience you can achieve amazing results with a line board
More vids coming soon and I’m my next repair videos I make il look at explaining texture a bit more
Thanks Martin
@@dentremover01 thanks. Wait for the next vids!
My next video does infact mention the orange peel so I hop you enjoy the vid
Great job mate
Thanks Jay 😊👍🏻
good job 👍
Thank you 👍🏻😊
Well delivered video , like the way you explain your procedures. Real tester for any tech.
Hi Geoff thank you for watching and commenting. Yes it was a really tough dent to repair but worth showing the process so people can see that they don’t “just” pop out
Thanks Martin
@@dentremover01 Martin do you put actual time of repair also a cost to the client , that sort of damage app $700 in Aus
Hi Geoff good question, throughout the repair video you can see my watch ping up the time. I think I started at 9:30 and finished at 2ish... price ranges can vary for these kinds of repairs. You can only earn if the customer is willing to pay for the job too
Really Nece Repair
Thank you Zybin
Thanks for taking the time and effort making these video's, the finished repair was incredible.
P.s thanks for the glue and tabs :)
Hi Tom thanks!! My pleasure are you finding the stuff good to use?
Thanks Martin
@@dentremover01 great to use buddy :)
Thank you very much for sharing your expertise. My question is, when using the Heat Gun, at what temperature is good to be able to make the Aluminium pliable to work with ? And should it be maintained at that temperature also ?
Hello Martin,I just spent some time watching 2 of your repairs useing the PDR Method. Both Repairs were very well done. Its Truly an Art.Its all about the Ability to Read the Metal or Aluminum Panel and to Reverse the Damadges by studying how the damage affected the panel, looking to see if the workhardened areas like body lines were affected, and allways work from the good to the bad.Followed as you Started by reversing the Lowest damadge or dents by use of your plastic pull tabs and glue and then reversing the smaller damadge and then getting the pull tabs and straight ingredients the body lines followed by massaging the eyebrows (high areas back down) Proceeding to finalizing the smallest dimples and dings and then to machine buffing the clearcoat which also creates small amount of heat to and kinda blends out the finish to what I would consider an Exelcent Suburb Repair.Great Job Martin.I had 35 years experience in Automotive Body Repair and after 17 yr became Collision Center Owner,Operator and I enjoyed my career so much that I worked 16 hr day,6 and 7 days a week until becoming disabled and unable to work.
Hi Dave. Thanks for watching my videos and commenting. Yes that’s pretty much it. Just very controlled pushes and seeing how the panel reacts, basically trying to level up the panel without making push marks so by using certain tips and glue systems amazing results can be achieved.
I started as a panel beater, then learnt pdr. It is tough on the body sometimes- like today my hands where killing!
I hope you find my other videos to keep you entertained, and take care of yourself
Kind regards Martin
Absolutely fantastic video, you are amazing the best pdr instructional video I have watched. Do you offer courses if so I would book for sure
1st class 👌
Thanks Andy!
Nice video
Thanks Jpanyk 😊
Wow, amazing, as a body man I must say this is excellent work. Thank you for your sharing and awesome tips. Greetings from USA Cleveland.
Hi Raymond thanks! You’ll be able to relate to it then..... super hard with it being Aluminium, I’m glad you enjoyed it...... actually had a BMW in yesterday with a similar dent but the price was high and I advised a repair and paint just to be safe
Take care and stay safe
Martin
@@dentremover01 Thanks and you be safe as well. Just curious, how long did it take you to do this awesome repair?
Thanks, I’d say the majority of a day... with the filming Aswell.
I could probably have done it in 4 hours or so?
@@dentremover01 I tip my hat to you mate. It would take me a day's work prepping for paint and $$$ in materials plus drying sanding and polishing time. Not to mention a color match blending.
I understand perfectly the method you are teaching being I have 44 years of experience working with metal nevertheless the biggest problem I have is choosing what tools to use for certain PDR jobs.
I spent ten grand at ding king institute to learn this method of dent repair two weeks training. Honestly what I got out of it was the theory. They rent cars that are easy to access for dent repairs for the students to practice on. They knock dents in them and have the students fix them after one week of theory. I left very unhappily with the hope that with what I learned I would build on it and practice. I am getting pretty good at it but honestly, your videos would have saved me a lot of money. If I had the funds I would train all over again but with someone like you that shares honest teaching knowledge. I find glue pulling amazing, and I am getting pretty good at it.
Hi Raymond thanks for your message. I’ve heard a few stories about Ding Kings training. I haven’t looked into the training side of things but I try to explain the repair procedure on my vids so that beginner or advanced techs can watch and maybe take away a tip, skill etc or make the mind think and ultimately help others out. I don’t know everything but my methods may be different to other techs.
Keep at it. Learn your way and tweek your repair method. As long as you can get the dent out your doing it right 🙌🏼🔥
Amazing job Martin. Thank you for the tool break down. I will be making purchases soon. What is the cost for a repair like this?
Thx
No problem Geoff
Amazing repair, can't believe you managed that especially being aluminium?? Stunning result 👌, can I ask what you are using too release glue is it acetone based?
Well done video... the question when your using the pushing tool in the video how do protect the hole from paint damage or bending the hole as you creating levage at the hole opening
super
Thanks David
Супер!!!!! 👍👍👍
Nice job 👍 yesireebob
Hii sir I am dainter painter in India 15 years experience
Hi Vickybamrah thanks for your comment, well done 15 years you must enjoy it?
Thanks Martin
Wow.. great!! I had same experience this body line of bonnet but failed because the dentl didn't pull out any more with glue pulling..so, I used rod.through underneath hole but make high mark because of strong area. Anyway you are really great for PDR technician. One question.. how long do you take a time to fix it perfectly? I geuss you spent over 5 hours.. isn't it? Thank you
Hi Cooper Jeon thank you for your message and glad you liked the vid!
Yes it took about 5 hours! Every dent is different though so don’t let it put you off trying another repair like this..... I agree those bonnets are super tough!
Thanks for watching and take care
Martin
the best of the best. Класс!
Thank you!!
Amazing finished product sir. How long did that repair take you?
