This piece was inspired by a $2400 furniture piece I found online. I Ives the finish and my piece has a similar shape, so let's try to duplicate it! I'm going to use wise owl paint, redesign with prima transfers and gold leafing to get this vintage look. we will create layers of paint and then tear them apart.

I have so many “favorites” that you’ve done, but I think this is my “favorite, favorite” ~ absolutely gorgeous (I’m Girl Gone Bad, the same person who asked if you’d done this video through IG before seeing you spoke of the video in your caption). Although I’ve done very little furniture, I am an artist who works in photography + paint, and you are such a wonderful inspiration. Thank you for sharing your talents! ❤

Linda tarde y muchas gracias.
It's beautiful! I really love the colours and the transfer. Very good job 😊
your work is always amazing!! this is one of my favorite. vintage shabby chic but very elegant.. i will be doing this to my sideboard cabinet. thank you for sharing.
WOW 🤩 YOU OUT DID YOURSELF ON THIS ONE!! I absolutely love love this piece. At first I was skeptical bc I’m not a fan of texture or distressing but you made me want to try this on a piece I have right now that I’ve been struggling with inspiration with my color scheme. It’s a mid century dresser and has beautiful appliqués on it, one I’m removing and replacing with woodubend and I was loving the dried sage and Spanish moss together for it but I’m stuck with a highlight color and maybe another darker color for shading or a glaze or a wax. I just got so much ideas watching you. Is the tools you used ( the scrapers) in the list below? And I notice the Klingon brushes look stiffer that my Dixie belle brushes, would they still work with that texture? Im supper impressed on this one. I do miss you spending more time on your videos talking us through what you’re doing. It’s like being there for a lesson. I’ve watched all your videos way back to when you were using the $6. Brushes from Home Depot. I ran out and bought a lot of them they were so cheap for a beginner to learn. After I got better at blending I bought me the expensive brushes which made a HUGE difference and then started adding other things to my pieces. The transfers intimated me lol. Now the decoupage is intimidating me lol. It’s a learning curve. Anyways I love this Brandy and I really wish you and your husband would come back on and teach how you used to. You guys were my weekly show lol. So funny like a sitcom. My bf started watching with me laughing with you and your husbands jokes. You became my favorite artist immediately and when I want to learn to blend something I go to your channel. I’ve watched some of the same ones many times.
Well EXCELLENT JOB it’s beautiful, I’m going to do this on my piece now. Can you recommend a color scheme? I’ve used other craft chalk paint before but when I found Dixie belle I stuck with them. I LOVED how it self leveled. When I saw my piece in the morning I was like Omgosh this paint is amazing.
Thank you for the lesson. ❤
I love this piece so much! I notice you using a lot of wise owl. I would love to see more colors from your daydream Apothecary line, such pretty colors.
I discontinued that line, was not a company I could represent and the paint did not work well or me
Waow above magnificent !! and I watch a lot of these videos, the most incredibly beautiful piece i've seen !
This is so elegant! It reminds me of a painting I did that I called "Aging Gracefully". I love the old-world look and you captured that perfectly with this piece. Are you going to do a video of your favorite stencils...hint, hint😉.😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thats a great idea!
Love the hint..hint...hint!! 😉
WOW!! TY One ingestion,i with it would go lower for a beginner
Yes, this is a more complex finish
Sei geniale....
My girl that turned out beautifully, would you mind sharing what app you use to create your vision boards, I would greatly appreciate that 😊 thank you!
PicCollage is the one I use most
What clear primer would you recommend?
Still wise owl, just in clear instead
May i ask if you painted a white color on top of the primer? I wonder if i use a clear primer would you need to paint a coat of white before adding the cream color saltwash in the corners. Otherwise the saltwash would be right on top of the clear primer, right?🙂
True. If you chip back the cream over clear primer, it would show as wood color, so you might have more wood in your look. Would just depend on if you wanted layers of whites or more exposed wood in the chips

❤
Brushed by Brandy, did you paint the whole piece in duck egg first, then the doors in ivory and then the second coat was just stippling with the salt wash and ivory again? Or did you just paint the edges in Duck Egg and then just stippled with ivory and salt wash over the primed white doors? Sorry, just a little confused.
The first coat was the opposite of the final colors. White under the blue and blue under the white
@@BrushedbyBrandy thank you!

🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🥂
I love the piece. You are a true artist and your work is inspiring. I am surprised that you are not using the IOD products as they are a local small business like you; and you may not be aware but they just posted that their patent re the grid lines on their transfers was violated. Given your split from the paint brand you used to use, I wouldn’t think that you would promote a brand that uses shady practices.
I definitely know and love the iod sisters, we have a great relationship and they make beautiful products
😇
Sigh. How about just a plain front image of the final? Skip the dramatics.
Nope. After weeks of work...that I edit down to minutes for you...each week for free...you're getting all the dramatics, sorry
Sigh. How about you not being so rude. This woman is a talented artist and presents her work to teach others. If you don't like her presentation, don't watch.
Point, your choice.
Stunning!
