Good video. I don't like lead weights either, but I like lead core line. When I'm using a down rigger and my wife is using lead core line, she will out catch me every single time. Although, if the fish are too deep, lead core line becomes impractical .
Watched this vid at least 5 times...good info never gets old!!! Thanks for all you guys do for us, Say....have looked all over for your clothing...Thanks!!!
Need to grab my Dad and get my butt up there. Long since out of smoked Kokanee/trout. Mebbe wait til those big stockers go in as they smoke up great, and actually cut decent for a hatchery fish. Once again looks like a good quality size fish year!
Thanks for another great video. Never really thought about the distance from the weight. I'm using downriggers but I have other poles I use weights on. Really well done.
That would be pretty sick. Every once in awhile you can see emm swim around by the dock. I've never tried to fish for them but it would be pretty sweet see how to try
When I've gone up there, I've always carried a big casting rod and some big jerk baits/spoons...but have yet to ever actually cast it. I LOOVE to eat Kokanee, and while it would be cool AF to catch a muskie, just not a priority.
Lot of great information. Have you done any videos on how you stack on the downriggers, and set backs when four lines are out and stacked on the riggers.
They do sell lines that change color at different depth and some have measurements on them by looking at the color you can see how many yards you casted out.
Love the look of the brads dodger you are using. But I can't seem to find that one anywhere. Could you post a link? Or do they even make that style anymore? Thank you
Do you have any advice on making your corn bait? When I learned to fish Kokanee as a kid we just used non-dyed shoe peg that was soakiled in Rubbing Alcohol. Thoughts?
In this video we’re you trolling with you big motor? If so what size is it? I have a new Mercury 250 with Smart Craft troll control gauges. Just wondering if you can get to those slow Kokanee speeds?…
I work for Brad's killer fishing gear and we are very low on Dodgers, orders come in every day about for them and we cant fill them. We have a Dodger shipment coming in so you should see more on the pegs in stores around the northwest here soon. The Dodger he has is one that we do not have In stock. But hope to be shipping them out soon
What's your go-to for a lighter kokanee set up? This is definitely most effective but doesn't seem as fun with all the gear just hauling in fish without much fight
I use dodgers for kokanee. I've never tried Brad's dodgers though. I caught 2 kokanee today while trolling for brown trout using a 5" yellow minnow plug going 2.3 mph. Weird right?
This is how I troll in my local lake and I catch considerably more fish than most people out there. I think people think a flasher will scare bows for some reason.
Anyone else use dodgers to catch trout or kokanee? 🙋♂️🙋♀️
Yeah
I’ve never really had much luck with dodgers. Pop gear still out preforms them for me.
love it im local thanks for the tips love seeing you guys out there
Just got a couple Kokanee yesterday at Lake Chelan using a dodger and wedding ring with corn
Cutthroat Trout in Mono county, California!
Best show on UA-cam

Thanks for the info. I am new to catching these fish.
with this set up how far back do you let your line out at the back of the boat i am a beginner
This is a great video...very helpful. Time to pick up some Brads kokanee dogers!!
Glad to see Mike redeem his self, after the punishment you put him through last episode with the Ford fenders.
Thanks for the info, new to using dodgers. I especially appreciate the speed and leader length information
Fantastic tips for those just getting into kokanee fishing!
Watched this vid at least 5 times...good info never gets old!!! Thanks for all you guys do for us, Say....have looked all over for your clothing...Thanks!!!
Sweet vid dude gonna have to try this next time I’m out on the water
This is making me go fish good job guys
Another great tutorial, thanks again addicted!
00:36 rod tip got me going . Watched whole body after that. Lol
Perfect timing! Going to Suttle Lake in 3 weeks!
Thank you for the info. New to kokanee fishing this is very helpful.

M loqq!!
Thank you for the tutorial, Love you guys, keep fishing.
love your channel, Could you please do a tutorial on marking Kokanee on fish finders and tips and tricks for that?
also downrigger clips and releases
Loved it man keep it up!!!!!
You should do a episode on how to catch the tiger muskie in that lake
That would be pretty sick. Every once in awhile you can see emm swim around by the dock. I've never tried to fish for them but it would be pretty sweet see how to try

Great video. How long do you keep your corn? Also are you stacking with shuttle hawks?😉🥃🇺🇸
What clips do you use on your down riggers
Can you do a video on trolling etiquette on a crowded lake? Lots of Kokanee in a small area. Thank you
Is this the uppermost lake of the lake chain this is on or the lowest?
Looks like the middle, was there yesterday and limited quick out of my Hobie. Just don't say the name haha
Lowest. ;)
I would like to try. I just don't know how to set up. Hope for more tutorials. Thanks
Great clip, appreciated. What size and line type are using from the reel? The leader? Thx again
Would like to see one done about fishing for koks from a dock or shore. Lots of us don't have boats.
When fishing with lead, how do you dial in the depth where the actual lure is fishing?
ua-cam.com/video/ptRZo8kgCfo/v-deo.html
They do sell lines that change color at different depth and some have measurements on them by looking at the color you can see how many yards you casted out.
Thanks for the tips!
Hi... which of your shows has AL Flamand??? Thanks...Rod
What size spin n glow do you use?
I do some most of my fishing on a tube any suggestions on Kokanee fishing in a tube???
Hopefully one day I’ll be able to do some koanee fishing, you guys should do a Kokanee catch and cook
Filmed one today, stay tuned!
Addicted Fishing awesome I can’t wait, thank you.
Love the look of the brads dodger you are using. But I can't seem to find that one anywhere. Could you post a link? Or do they even make that style anymore? Thank you
holy cow i am doing two things wrong and im sure why i cant catch crap. Thanks for the video
Do you have any advice on making your corn bait?
When I learned to fish Kokanee as a kid we just used non-dyed shoe peg that was soakiled in Rubbing Alcohol. Thoughts?
Can I use a spoon as a flasher or dodger
What's the best Kokanee color's? We don't have them in the East.
Please do a filming and editing episode of the Addicted crew staring Shawn the invisible member. As always, Bruce from Palmer, AK. May 25, 2020.
Badass 🤘
I have used a lot of different brands of dodgers, but I've never tried Brad's. I wish I could find them in a store somewhere.
What kind of downrigger clips do you use?
Hi team, what model/weight/length rod are you using on the down rigger for the kokanee? Thanks.
One question.. how do YOU cook and eat your Kokanee? Smoke? Fry?
Wouldve been nice to inform on trolling w/o a downrigger. Weight placement & snubber placement.
In this video we’re you trolling with you big motor? If so what size is it? I have a new Mercury 250 with Smart Craft troll control gauges. Just wondering if you can get to those slow Kokanee speeds?…
When you're trolling below aboout 40 ft, it's basically dark. IMHO, color would be secondary to vibratio/movement and/or shape.
Did you add the tape to the Brad's Dodger? And where did you purchase it.
I work for Brad's killer fishing gear and we are very low on Dodgers, orders come in every day about for them and we cant fill them. We have a Dodger shipment coming in so you should see more on the pegs in stores around the northwest here soon. The Dodger he has is one that we do not have In stock. can this be used on shore???
If I’m long lining how do I get the desired depth with no weight in front of the dodger? A
What's your go-to for a lighter kokanee set up? This is definitely most effective but doesn't seem as fun with all the gear just hauling in fish without much fight
Wait so there is the dodger but then is there a hook and what’s on the hook I’m fishing Utah waters and have tried to figure these fish out
Is it at all possible to catch Kokanee from shore?
where u guys at ?
What size is the spin-n-glo?
Size 12 and 14
I cannot afford a downrigger... any chance you could teach us po' folk how to catch them without them? Thanks!
Trolling so S L O W ...........Sling blades with either slow/super death hooks, Treaded Crawler =Trout
Bite at 37 seconds on the right rod
I use dodgers for kokanee. I've never tried Brad's dodgers though. I caught 2 kokanee today while trolling for brown trout using a 5" yellow minnow plug going 2.3 mph. Weird right?
Letting Mike use dodgers this episode instead of the ford fenders.
Yup ! I don’t think I’ll be using a ford fender again lol maybe with a snubber 🤷🏻♂️
Your title also mentions trout, but the entire video seems to be dedicated to Kokanee fishing….🤔
This is how I troll in my local lake and I catch considerably more fish than most people out there. I think people think a flasher will scare bows for some reason.
My dogs name is dodger and he was on the bed with me and every time u said dodger my do just looked at me like bruh what do u want
Who else is guessing Riffe Lake?
There are no kokanee in Riffe. Too many boats and the water level is too high for it to be Riffe. I think it is his home lake, farther to the south.
