Hey Matt great video !! Still setting up my boat, been purchasing more and more equipment and just got the net you use the other day , plus will separate all my tackle for Kokanee from my tackle bag and use your idea to keep well organized kokanee tackle. You were talking removing harmful scents from your hands, all I do is use the lake water and take what bait I have and rub on my hands like I'm washing them. I did this with anchovies or sardines when I was ocean fishing and it does work.
Flying back to home state Washington next week..be in Seattle area excited to get on lake try catch some kokanee it's been while ..great video got me excited to head back to northwest and wet the lines
Matt, awesome video. Two years later... do you have any updates or tweaks to what you are showing us here? This coming season will be my first tries for Kokanee, really appreciate all the content you've put up to help guys get started.
Great video brother! Thanks for the pro tips and experience based suggestions with everything. I've only caught 3 Koke's and all were through the ice at Da Berry. I don't have a clue what to do to catch Koke's. Love the boat too! "She's a beaut Clark!" (Christmas Vacation)
Thanks! I remember watching your strawberry videos years ago! Do you plan on doing any more? If you have a boat the Kokanee 101 guide on my website should give you the basics to get on them. Happy to help with any additional questions.
I couldn't understand what boxes you were talking about for the rig storage. What's the name? Maybe start putting links to products in your descriptions. Thank you sir!
Thanks for the feedback! I have links to all the products I mention on my website. You can find the Lindy Rigger boxes in this section - kokaneeaddictfishing.com/collections/dodgers-lures?page=1 I also added this to the description.
@@KokaneeAddictFishing thank you, just finishing up your tutorial you posted on Facebook. Good stuff right there. Working on signing the papers on my first boat this week and need all the help I can get learning to catch these buggers.
how important would you say a trolling motor is for catching kokanee? Me and my dad like fishing at strawberry, which I thought I saw some photage of that at the sart of the video, and we have seen other people have success there, so we do the exact same, and don't catch any kokanee, only difference is we don't use a trolling motor when trolling

Brother? Grow up, that term calling everybody "Brother" is old. Only nerds use it today.
@@archmasterone Thanks brother...
Great video! Curious… What’s your trout to Koke ratio up at Jordy with that setup?
Is scent necessary? I find scenting leaves smell that you cant get off
The Kokanee in my lake run deep where do I add weight to keep it down there? I don’t have a downrigger.

Do you match the Dodger color to your lure color?. Great video
I do match them a lot of the time. I’ll also use a silver dodger and run it with any color. Thanks for watching.
