this is the single most nostalgic song in my life - not because I was voluntarily listening to it, but my sister would blast it on repeat while I got into Runescape as a kid. This song so perfectly encapsulates a good time in my childhood and its kind of intense coming back to listen to it
Oh dear god no, I remember the 90s and you could not pay me enough to go back to them. Rose tinted spec syndrome is very dangerous. We always tend to remember only the good of the time, and easily forget the bad especially if the bad didn't actually affect us personally. Think of it this way, today is better than then as now you can listen to what you like whenever and however often as you want instead of having to wait for it to be on radio or TV or having to buy the album when you only liked a couple of songs on it. :-)
Nowt wrong with the memories until they start using the rose tinted specs memories to put down others, which I have seen happen in the 80s, 90s and 00s, my mum takes it to the 60s and 70s. I am not saying that Johnny is doing that, that is why I added the part about thinking how today is better given that we can listen to what we want when we want.

Same.
Eyyyy!! Good ol' nard dog! Damn what a mood!
This song always sounds both sad and fun, years later I still dont know which to feel.
Hey it's been 8 years! Come back!
Swedes have awesome music production for such a small country…. Love it
Her eyes, her voice, everything on her tells me to stay and listen to her beautiful song until the end
Some people just have it all
I minute of silence to the people listening to the Justin Bieber verse
@luisagudelo677 and ? 💀 also we dont know the rest of her life so assumption are just stupid
The eyes are contacts for sure
@@flamingo_with_Hat Could be, could also be post processing, but my grandmother had cobalt blue eyes under certain lighting conditions and it looked similar so it could be natural (as in dependent on light, not contacts or image colouration) too. But looking at the vibrancy of the other colours it's probably enhanced i.e. light that makes blue eyes like that makes other colours dull. At 3:09 is probably her natural colour, as it is similar to my GMs eyes,
The build up to the chorus. . .gets me every time!!
This song brings me into happy tears. My mom put it on so often, it was a happy song for us. Every time I hear it I feel as I´m a child again. Forever grateful for my mom bringing me up in Russia together with MTV channel with such a good music
Not sure how she wasn't more popular...
Great voice... beautiful blonde with beautiful blue eyes...
Seems like a slam dunk star...
This song randomly popped up in my mind after so many years.

Legendary song
Same here lool
Same here! It happened this morning, was so random and now I can't stop listening
Yep im here now for same reason haha trying to work out the year no idea
Exactly why I’m here
It's hard to believe this song is more than 25 years old, it seems like only yesterday it was new, and all over the radio.
I was 9 on a vacation trip of summer ‘97, even myself realized it was something new and cool, and it fit great with the vibes of the beach at night having dinner with my parents at the hotel lobby, sunburnt, and a very hot island even at night 🏝 i remember feeling cool cause we were at the bar and i was almost 9, lol
Don’t lie, you searched this
._. No I bought this on Craigslist
No I was brought here bcz somebody said that Justin's did his song from that one
No shit Sherlock
Not it was autoplay from another cardigans song
I actually didn’t, but would not be ashamed at all to have done so
Heard this playing while I was in the supermarket M&S, takes me back. Great song.
I love this song
Me too its so good for no reason at all
agree @@Slaytatscats78
The Cardigans are such underrated band , their songs are so unique.
And they’re Swedish.
Love this song I wanna go back in time ...
I can't handle this level of nostalgia
My god, those blue eyes. She is so beautiful.
She's Swedish--the nation of shockingly blond/e and blue-eyed Scandinavian peoples!
Honestly, they look enhanced...
Contact lenses
@@evgenezat3128 yes they def are contact lenses here BUT seeing pictures of her she has nice blue eyes
Just saying
@@katherinewilson1853Not always.
THIS SONG IS SO AMAZING AND NOSTALGIC 🤩
What a magnificent little jewel of a pop song. Consummately 1990's.
The work with John Oliver made my day and the song was an instant classic with the swooning chorus . The on point instrumentation
That’s why I’m here too. You could say it was the creepy dolls that are responsible for us searching this.
Hey! Me too
John Oliver sux.
I barely knew this song was mentioned by John Oliver and I'm glad to find why and how it ended😂
This song is so happy yet sad :(
Best of gardigans
I am in love with this song
this is the single most nostalgic song in my life - not because I was voluntarily listening to it, but my sister would blast it on repeat while I got into Runescape as a kid. This song so perfectly encapsulates a good time in my childhood and its kind of intense coming back to listen to it
So many memories came back. Oh the 90s.
Dermacrosis let them remember their memories Jesus
Nowt wrong with the memories until they start using the rose tinted specs memories to put down others, which I have seen happen in the 80s, 90s and 00s, my mum takes it to the 60s and 70s.
I am not saying that Johnny is doing that, that is why I added the part about thinking how today is better given that we can listen to what we want when we want.
20 years later and I still love this song. It will honestly always be one of my faves.
hush your dirty mouth, surely it hasn't been 20 years already...
+Yessy Mendoza I'm not sure if it is sarcasm but just in case, it's been 20 years since the release of this song =)
This woman is the Xuxa of the Brazil?
I think this is one of those songs that is gonna stand the test of time
+Yessy Mendoza Actually, it has. This song was released in 1996.
