This is my favorite Maroon 5 song by far. I think their style changed a lot in the last years. What used to be a pop/rock band now sounds just like pop all the time.
It is a song about a difficult love relationship, something like obsessive love but full of a most powerful and sincere erotic side to it.

I remember when this song came out. I was 13 I think. Maroon 5 were absolutely massive at the time. Songs About Jane was an incredible album. It's a shame that they deviated so much from their original sound.
