I rarely comment on videos but just couldn't resist this time around. You did a great job here. I must have watched practically every review of the model s, some good others an absolute waste of time. Really glad you went in-depth and didn't just concentrate on the ludicrous speed alone which I know must be awesome (I've tried insane mode on a p85d and that was mind blowing in itself). Keep up the good work

Nice gloves... Where is your race helmet and fire proof suit?
I thought these were well over 2000kg. 1947kg actually seems kind of neat for large "sedan" with so many options, while having such a high (unprecedented?) safety rating. If it were up to me, I'd stuff a few bags (or fitted case) with batteries in the frunk, boost range another 25% for certain longer drives outside the supercharger network.

Dude you left Range Mode on... you'll have torque sleep enabled. (turn it off for full power)
Nice Video and good review.
Next Time you should try "launch mode" at 100% SOC, with "Max Battery Power" on and "Range Mode" off. Then you will see what quick is :-)

8:39 you actually have to tap on the link "Max Battery Power" to unlock the max power of the car. just selecting Ludicrous Mode is not enough. too bad you missed that.

What's with the yellow gloves???
Overlooking the gloves there seems to be a lot of steering input going on. The two Model S I've driven both tracked arrow straight. This one seems to need constant correction ... ?
+paulanderson79 Hi, there was nothing wrong with the Tesla Model S I drove. I was pushing it hard through the corners hence the steering corrections and the fact that it had winter tyres on. Hope that helps.
Winter tyres, yes, that's very likely to be the reason. The other thing I have just considered is the 21" rims probably make it a bit more fidgety. They're nice cars though. If I had the funds I would definitely buy.

P90d and p90dl is the same car right or is the L a upgraded option?
Hi, the P90d and P90DL are two different models. The P stands for Performance. 90 is the battery in terms of kilowatts-hours. The D stands for Dual so it has one motor for the front wheels and one for the rear wheels. The L stands for Ludicrous Mode which is activated via the tablet and this unleashes all of it's power. I hope this helps.

Sorry but in what world did you imagine you could do an interesting video of this vehicle? Terrible musack, stating the bloody obvious all the time. Not at all worth watching when there are much better versions available. And don't get me started about the faux Formula 1 gloves. Just preposterous.
