Nice review as usual. I do enjoy your channel and your relaxed laidback cool presenting style. Don't wish to be personal but some people are not keen on a South African accent. But i quite like your gentle soft accent. It makes a change from the northern English accents so many other food reviewers have. And finally i like you over talking it. I think you could make a catchphrase out of that.
I've had these and for frozen battered fish they are pretty good but like Blake said, pretty small. Get some hot curry sauce on there and white sliced bread with proper butter.
Hi Blake. I love your name. I’ve got a puppy that I named Blake. Those fish did look nice and flaky and white. Next time I go to shopping I’ll get some👍
Given the price of battered fish at other supermarkets, usually over £5 for less than 400g, £5.25 for 500g seems reasonable. I think Aldi's large beer battered haddock are nearer £4 for around 380g. I've tried them and enjoyed them, may be worth checking them out if you have a local Aldi
I think that prie is ok, justhave two pieces per person, Stil way cheaper that the local chippy which is getting beyond a joke. Got a new subscriber buddy. 👍
obviously you have not been to a fish and chip shop in years i dont know where you live but cod and chips where i live cost £12 pounds and its probably the same size portion of the four pieces of cod you have in that box if not smaller so you said its got 4 portions in there enough for 2 for £5.25
Although as you said when you opened the box and they don't look too big I think when cooked and the nice fish I think they are worth the money, chips and coleslaw with them for me, live on my own so would get a couple of good dinners from them, another good review mate 🏴👍
Mate you have a great channel.... It's just straight out there in your face and no b/s..! I like it.😉👍🏻
Thank you. Glad you are enjoying the videos.
Really enjoying your channel pal 👌🍻
Thank you. Glad you are enjoying the videos.
To be fair. These looked very good.
With either curry sauce and mushy peas or both.
What's not to like.
Curry sauce would be an excellent level up.
I'm so looking forward to trying these after seeing your review. Thanx 4 sharing this👌all the best
Hope you enjoy them.
They are doing a nice Christmas selection i got a little booklet last week some nice stuff in there
I’ve seen some of the Christmas things, they do look good.

Fresh bread strait out the oven so the butter goes a little melty when you spread it on. Perfection.

It's a good name for a puppy. Hope you enjoy the fish.
Nice one Blake
Thanks. 👍
My fish and chips, lemon on the fish, spirit vinegar on the chips and mushy peas in the dustbin
Ooh, I do love freshly squeezed lemon on my fish and chips.
None in my iceland in lowestoft, staff hadn't even heard of them
That's unfortunate. Hopefully they will get them soon.

Beer battered haddock sounds like a banger, I'll keep an eye out for them.

Agreed. It is a lot cheaper than a chippy. Thanks for subscribing.
I don’t think £2.62 for 2 pieces is too shabby considering what a fish shop will charge 👍
Fish and chip shops are expensive these days.

It is a lot cheaper than a takeaway.

Thank you. You’re right, you can get a good few meals out of one box.
