I had a 1970 Torino with a 351 Cleveland in it. I bought it used back in 1980 was a low mileage car drove it from California to Idaho and back and across the country had it at least 5 years loaned it to my wife while I was working on her Granada. get a call it got totaled by a laundry truck. Loved that car. You sure do go the extra mile to get those cars out of wherever they are no matter how hard it is to get out. Thanks for the video

That dash cluster you found in the back seat is out of a Mustang fix body, if it has a 120 mile an hour speed gauge it's actually worth some money to the right person, but if you throw it away it is what it is thanks for the video

I’ve always heard that “there is nothing more expensive than a free car” but I guess “expensive” can equal time and “sweat” labor, not just cash? I’ll hand it to you, it takes some real tenacity to cut down trees and stumps to retrieve a old car. Especially in the summer heat! Not sure I still have that in me? But I haven’t been offered any free cars lately, either … so who knows? I think I would name the Falcon Virgil and the Torino … Woody! You definitely earned yourself a nice “free”, “tree” car score, there! Nice work and good save! Looking forward to what comes next with them.

The ol' green machine doesn't look too bad from this side of the camera lens, but I bet if you gave her a bath she'd soon show her dark side. I saw what you were pointing out about the cowl / firewall and yeah, the sub-frames don't look exactly solid (the rear one was definitely a bit moth-eaten) and if they look grotty on the outside after sitting in the dirt for 25+ years, you bet they aren't gonna be pretty on the inside.....and thin sub-frames aren't really a good thing, are they? Adding in the repairs to the doors, trunk lid, trunk floor, cabin floor, cowl, RF fender etc, let alone all the steering bits, brakes, bushes etc.... Yeah, it's sad, but the good bits on the beast will go to cars that otherwise wouldn't get back on the road, so I still consider that a win and a good use of resources. Man, if that engine fires and sounds good, there's another bonus too - especially if you then drop it in Drive and she tries to move. The cluster, the dash frame, seats, ancillaries, trim, grille, glass - all of it will be used, so good call, mate. I'll look forward to hearing it run before you take her apart too! All the best

It’s too bad it wasn’t a 2 door model. Back in the day I saw one with a 429 that could get up and go. Is this worth saving I’d say not. At best a good parts car! Too much rust! I parked my jeep several years ago whether on gravel or ground and the vehicle rusted very quickly. If you’re going to park a vehicle keep it on asphalt or concrete or double tarp on a slant; and cover it. Also put moth balls around it because mice and rodents do havoc on vehicles especially in barns. Just my opinion.

In the first video I saved a nice 2 door Falcon. I think it's a keeper

Try using actual penatrating oil. It works 100 times better.

This year, they are unibody, I've actually owned and repaired may of them. Definitely, the weak point. You can see me repair my floors and unibody on my Torino video's
