Steak 48 is a nice restaurant and have good food but to be honest the best steaks in Charlotte NC is Chima and Del Frisco thanks for your time I enjoyed this video very much because I'm in the Charlotte area and know this restaurant well
Your honest and fairly thorough review is appreciated! This is the second I’ve seen that says the food, particularly the meat, is over-salted and under spiced. (The first reviewer mentioned this about her Wagyu steak, which she hated, although she enjoyed all else.) I am _shocked_ that they serve a mac with *Velveeta* at such a place. 😳 There should be nothing served that is so heavily processed, let alone _imitation._ 🤯 Paying that and more is not at all foreign to me, but I expect the *quality* to match. Like so much, it looks pleasing to my eyes, but I am left quite underwhelmed. Your review was fun and direct, and now I’m hungry again. 😇 Bless 🆙
Yes i can agree with that . When you go to a restaurant and pay damn near $300 for a meal you want it to be up to par .. I’ll say the service was unmatched by far. Thanks for watching this video and i really appreciate your support 😊😊 don’t forget to subscribe for more
I've lived 30 minutes from Charlotte the last 21 yrs and haven't visited many restaurants there. Will be binge watching a few of your recommendations and giving them a try.
Can't front. We just talked about this place on our podcast "Degree of men" and I told them that the bone in pork chops were AMAZING. That and the sweet potato souffle... OMG.. crazy good.
I’m surprised that the Charlotte location allowed you in with jeans and a T-shirt. The one in Philly caused an uproar when they implemented a dress code (jackets for men), and a $100 minimum. It was meant to keep “the loud, selfie taking, only eating apps crowd” down to a minimum… Folks had gotten out of hand to be honest. Great food. The bill will easily reach $100 per person, and you will leave a happy customer.
He might also be a regular. Because I’m a regular at the capital grille in king of Prussia and I can walk in there with my flip flops and be fine(they also have a dress code). But if I do they usually sit me in the bar area which I don’t mind.
@@dcc287 That’s possible. I go to the CG in Cherry Hill… They’re not having it. The only exceptions that I’ve seen and been for are special events that are closed to the public. I’ll have to make my way to KoP. There’s a lot of decent restaurants that have popped up over the past 5 years.

Honestly, the white men are wearing shorts with loafers, tees & polos. I was shocked! That dress code is not as enforced as you’d think. People seem to dress up more often for this location in the winter.
I've always wondered about this. I make a lot of reservations in upscale Charlotte restaurants and usually find a fair portion of the patrons are wearing t-shirts and jeans. I dress business/business casual anyway, out of respect to the restaurant but it seems to be the norm, especially with larger parties.
I've heard great things about this place from a friend and her husband who have been for special occasions. She said best steak she ever had and she enjoyed the sea bass.. .great review!
That’s the first thing I said to w, that they let him in with a tshirt and sneakers on. I’ve been to the Philly location a couple times and they don’t disappoint. Try the crab cakes next time
