I recently traveled to London, and after landing, my family and I were very hungry. We found a pretty place so we went there. Turned out it had a Michelin star. Dude , I have eaten AND worked with a lot of famous Chef's and for me Thomas Keller is the one. He is the best, The French Laundry for me is unbeatable. I have never been in Per Se' as I am not much of a NYC guy, more the San Francisco type. But it looks truly amazing.
I had a small utility knife in my hand and when nick went to eat some of the food I put the knife in my mouth as he went to eat it lmaooooo the food looks so good.
2 restaurant was not only about the food. The second one Gabriel was a really good person which is the most important more important than food. The most important!💪💪💪
Such a great pick with Rezdora and Gabriel Kreuther. I was surprised that Per Se made it for the third. Chef Gabriel Kreuther is from Alsace, hence the wines being poured were from Alsace and makes a lot of sense that foie gras, being a local delicacy there, is featured on the menu.
We just celebrated birthday at 2 stars Michelin restaurant in SF, Saison restaurant. An experience to remember for a long time. We got the 9 courses meal chef choice with wine pairing. The dinner for 2 cost about 1200 including tip and all extra fees. I should say it Worth well. The chef even gave us a complimentary chocolate with gold flakes cake bc of bd celebration. Foods are incomparable, very unique and the service is excellent. The price we paid is not small but very enjoyable experience. That covered extra dishes we added like caviar, lobster and a couple cocktails drink. Total 1200 for 3 hours BD meal to remember for a long time. Next year BD will be at French laundry. Can't wait.
I haven’t been to a Michelin Star restaurant as I know of, but I have been to a very unique restaurant in Suzhou, China. Directly translated it’s called something like one table restaurant. The restaurant physically has more than one table, but if one table is in use then the restaurant is full so no other customers can come in. It’s damn near impossible to get a reservation because of it, you basically need to be on a formal visit to the city and be invited there by city officials. When I went there, I was being hosted by the “mayor” of the old town of the city so he had arranged for us to have lunch at the one table restaurant. It was when me, my ex husband and my parents went to China so my parents could see my then in-laws, and my then in-laws had arranged everything so my parents were treated basically like royalty. It was a whole week of massive VIP which was something out of this world for both me and my parents as we’re very down to earth and used to a simple life, but my then in-laws wanted to give my parents an unforgettable time in China, and that they sure did! The food was amazing in the one table restaurant, and it was very special to get to experience that restaurant as it’s normally just something high ranked officials get to experience and not something a tourist would even come close to both because of the complexity to make reservations and the price of the meal. I think that one lunch cost upwards of $3000, and we were 7 people including our guide (the mayor). But yeah, absolutely amazing experience and I wouldn’t be surprised if my parents and I are the only Swedes or even only Scandinavians who’ve been to that restaurant. I might even have to check if it’s a Michelin Star restaurant, if it isn’t and never has been, it definitely should be (unless the reason it hasn’t gotten at least one star is because the Michelin guide person couldn’t get a reservation)
Hello from Montreal, one more comment , one time while eating at a five star restaurant the head chef came out presented himself and asked how we found the meals, i was not shy and replied it is good, but there is so little in my plate. He went immediately to the kitchen and returned with a full plate and a big smile. Sometimes it is good to be truthful. Take care signed vincenzo

I went to a 2 star restaurant here in San Diego and it was definitely worth it. It’s not just about the food, the service is absolutely amazing and you can expect them to accommodate you for anything you might need. 2 days before I went the restaurant called me to ask if I had any allergies and if there was a special event, and they even gave me a kitchen tour!

13:26 Point of view: You just went to bed, but Nick came out of nowhere, allowed himself in, got on top of you and decided to start a conversation about restaurants.
Ok this was a great video!! Can’t wait to try my first Michelin Star restaurant :)
I cant wait for you to try it as well Nate!!
Well this is blatant clickbait. The meal at the end was 325 dollars.
After this video, I truly believe from the greatest depth of heart that NO ONE ... LITERALLY NO ONE ... CAN REPLACE THE STREET FOOD CUISINE .... WELCOME TO THE STREETS ...
Big fan of Risdora, some of the best pasta I have ever had in my life. Great meal, I have been fortunate enough to eat there multiple times and each time was amazing.
i love how he comments on the food its very respectful and he adds some humor to it that's nice and nick should definitely do a video where he trys one of the book's recipes
Pretty sure it would be a terrible video if he didn’t comment on the food.
@@boarbot7829 no im not saying that im just saying that he's good at commenting and it could actually be nice even without it
@@brindille7771 ok.
you should make a video where you or Manny recreates one or two of your master chef dishes
Wow... everything looked fantastic! I can't imagine how excited you were as someone who knows a little bit (haha) about ingredients and preparation. Looked like a great day and experience.
The amount of words i don't understand while watching this just shows how fancy these restaurants are
This was by far the best video . I felt like I was there with him. Great Video!!!!
Such an amazing vid! Loved it nick do more like this I wouldn’t see this stuff ever normally
The foods are all awesome I'm sure...
But the restaurant that caters it's silverware to what hand you favor wins my heart for such active attention to detail.
Nick love your videos congratulations on winning master chef i love italian food i also love to cook always been a dream to train under Gordon Ramsy
I’ve been to 6 Michelin star restaurants over 5 different countries and they were all AMAZING.
I’ve heard a few horror stories but for the most part the food, service, atmosphere at any of these establishments is a once in a lifetime experience.
Me habituated seeing him with black t-shirts and now seeing him a formal full hands shirt is like looking at a whole new thing 😱😱
Hey Nick! I know a restaurant in Canada Quebec in Montreal that is really fancy. The name of the restaurant is Da Vinci. You should go eat there its worth it! Expensive but worth it!
More chefs should make videos like this… this is awesome
Day seventeen of trying to get Nick’s attention to go and try food from the restaurant Roosters here in Columbus Ohio !
If so have to try the Barbecue Pizza, Garlic Wings, and dumpster fries (and recreate) !
Yes Horchata !!!!!!!
‘Me over here salivating while watching Nick show the food to the camera’ …..anyone else ?
(Love how Manny can eat and try it all) :)
I recently traveled to London, and after landing, my family and I were very hungry. We found a pretty place so we went there. Turned out it had a Michelin star. I had the classic English breakfast and it was AMAZING. If you are wondering, the place was called Daylesford Farms, and it is in the Cotswolds.
Thank yo
This is my favorite video Nick’s ever made
Should do a Nick with friends cooking series. Great videos Love ya Nick
15:35 it’s killing me that the chocolates on the left aren’t placed correctly 😂
13:04 Wow, I don't think I've eve seen Nick's pupil's this dilated before. Either the lightning in that dining room is pretty low, or he's tripping balls xD
Man.... UA-camrs be starting from homecook and street food reviews to dining at an expensive fine restaurants..... Hardwork truly pays.
We are gonna need a chef kreuther cookbook recipe made at home now
Thank you Nick for letting us tag 🏷 Along! ^_^
Glad you enjoyed your day. I know you don’t drink a lot. You must have had a decent buzz after all of that!
How on earth you managed three meals like that in a day is totally beyond me! I've had dinner in Michelin restaurants and you usually roll home 😂
The hand movement when Nick talks is off the charts, I love it😆
I think wat would’ve made this vid better was showing the finale price after each restaurant to show the difference in a 1star to 3star
Just incredible. I hope someday I can take my wife to a Michelin ⭐️ restaurant.
Never been here, but I’ve been to Thomas Kelldr’s other 3 Michelin star… the French Laundry is amazing! Gotta love living in the Bay Area 😊😊
Can't wait.
Little Ramsey going strong
Outstanding coverage. Having a hint into what you were eating, works very well. Keep going!
Nick: "This is my favorite bite of the day"
Nick 10 secs later: "This is my favorite bite of the day so far"
I might even have to check if it’s a Michelin Star restaurant, if it isn’t and never has been, it definitely should be (unless the reason it hasn’t gotten at least one star is because the Michelin guide person couldn’t get a reservation)
nice
nice
Nice
nice
You sure it cost 3000 that’s a bit much.
Nick really knows a lot bout food
He should be a chef.
Meanwhile I’m feeling the pinch after ordering off McDonalds dollar menu
Same Corey lol!
At least McDonalds would fill you up
Hello from Montreal, one more comment , one time while eating at a five star restaurant the head chef came out presented himself and asked how we found the meals, i was not shy and replied it is good, but there is so little in my plate. He went immediately to the kitchen and returned with a full plate and a big smile. Sometimes it is good to be truthful. Take care signed vincenzo
I probably know you won't see this, but I love your videos so much...❤❤
Such a cool video. My stomach has ascended to another state of hunger for fancy food 😂
The food looks so simple, but yet so advanced :D
I've never actually eaten at a Michelin restaurant before and I think it is crazy that he can spend an entire day eating at them
You arent missing much its way overrated unless you wanna spend your paycheck on 4 bites of food just to have shiny silverware and a broke wallet because of *detail* id rather go to some bar with a damn good olive burger any day
I went to a 2 star restaurant here in San Diego and it was definitely worth it. It’s not just about the food, the service is absolutely amazing and you can expect them to accommodate you for anything you might need. 2 days before I went the restaurant called me to ask if I had any allergies and if there was a special event, and they even gave me a kitchen tour!
@@domcars that is so cool
I wish I could go to one
@@___Cake287___ basically everyone can, if you just want to. Maybe not once a month, but everyone with a job should be able to afford it once in a lifetime.
Amazing Journey, thanx Nick. My fav was Gabriel Kreuthers Restaurant. The Asian Sommelier at the End. Very Awkward, He was like who let these Hooligans in here!! 🤣😅😁
The sheer amount of cooperation and creativity involved is so awesome!
I feel like this is how we all were meant to eat. As opposed to shoving Big Macs down our gullets in rush-hour traffic. 😂
