Who puts sour cream in potatoe salad that is the first for me. I do agree spaghetti sauce needs a little sugar to balance out the tomatoes but not to make it sweet like philippino spaghetti
XACTLY!! As a matter of fact sugar and cornbread, beans, and other Foods were an acquired taste from commodity food from the government. Prior to that sugar was only used in cakes and pies. Not in your food. People have become so accustomed to Jiffy cornbread mix that they don't know real cornbread when they taste it. Real cornbread is not sweet.
I stopped at the 1 minute mark… How can you possibly know is a pizza is even good by dipping it into some foreign white sauce before the first bite?! Not questioning what you like. But how would you know if you like it? 😂😂

Nah the marinara doesn’t need to be sweet. It should be about a 2:1 ratio of salt to sugar. But it ain’t supposed to be watery though.
An authentic Italian marinara doesn't have added sugar at all. The tomatoes used break down, and release sugars during the cooking process.
