That transition from gameplay to cutscene and again from space to surface was some of the most seamless work I've ever seen in a game! Beautifully done!
I was about to ask where Falco was. But then I remembered, "Oh. Right. The Nintendo Power comic tie-in to Star Fox Adventure." Also, love that you're using the Adventures Arwing for the Planet Sauria arc. Really gives the sense of time passing for our favorite space mercenaries.
@@StarforceOnAir Yeah, but I don't think the comic tie-in plot line will happen, because the villain in the comic is Colonel Shears, and we all know Colonel Shears fled to Sauria after betraying the Cornerian Army to Andross by murdering Fara Phoenix. I theorize that after the Lylat Wars has ended, General Pepper contacted the people of Thoshan and asked them to issue a full pardon to Falco Lombardi so that he may be allowed to return home to be with his family, if he had any. But I think we'll learn what really happened to him when IceCreamMan released more Sauria levels.
@ScotsmanGamer You have been a broken record for years. This is clearly not the game for you and it never will be. Many people are asking me to block you. Stop making a fool of yourself or I'll just take the advice.
Thank you for increasing the speed of the text. Even if it's voiced, it's a lot easier to read now and in time. Cheers! Glad to see this one voiced as well.
Merry Christmas! Amazing work as always cannot wait to play this game! Thanks for all the Hard Work and Team! Also the N64 version of Starfox the PC port was released.
...Judging by Fox's cordial dialogue during the briefing, he's still hurt by Shears causing Fara's demise. 3:13 That Sharpclaw Pilot must _LOVE_ playing as Scorpion... I have no idea why, but imagining the Sharpclaw playing Mortal Kombat is amusing to me... And annoying Shears because he keeps beating Shears' high-score.
Wow man! What a great way to start a new Star Fox Horizon with Dinosaur Planet material! And if remember right, Fox crash lands his Arwing, SharpClaws arrive for a fight, Fox and Krystal meet, the adventures on Sauria begin. Great job, bro! And Merry Christmas!
EXTREMELY AMAZINGLY WELL DONE WITH THIS. I seen the level already, but now you put lots in it. the Cutscene including the voice actors. Such great work with them. And many things added as well, and the Great Fox, really nice touch EXTREMELY OUTSTANDING. And well done by Dashawn. He really did great as the boss. Everyone did amazing with Voice acting. What a wonderful Christmas Gift to show. Even though you still have to get the rest of the Starfox 64 levels Fully dubbed. but this is a wonderful Gift none the less. Continue doing amazing. and to everyone doing good. also MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE. And such.
Merry Christmas, everyone! Such a joy to see this level played out, and had a lot of fun with my role in it, too! (May want to bump up the volume on the Frigate Commander's audio, seems very quiet compared to the rest of the cast.)
Класс!) Экипаж "Великого Лиса", как всегда, на высоте и показывает чудеса пилотажа!) Ну а команда "Горизонта событий" продолжает свой нелёгкий труд, удачи вам и с наступающими праздниками!)

9:19 In this instance the HFY community would refer to this as "Monkey throw rock". Except it's the lizards doing it and we don't want the Venom aligned monkeys throwing rocks.
By the way, not to toot my own horn or anything, but have you seen my fan - film yet? This is the perfect transition into it lol 😂 Great job! 👏 I can’t wait to see the rest of the Sauria levels with voice acting!
I only just now realized that targeted enemies are shown in the bottom right, complete with hull gauges. So you have different portions of your character's vital data in the upper right and upper left corners, vital enemy data in the lower left, and a radar in the lower right. I hope that's just the HUD of the game this is being built in, and not the final design. It's too scattered for the kind of high-intensity gameplay present here. Especially given the kind of damage you can take so quickly.
Can't believe this is a Freespace hack. I mean, I love Freespace and all, but I imagine it must have been hell to work with. Wishing this project all the best.
Why doesnt Nintendo get a clue and hire you guys! Imagine a Star fox Adventures remake more in the Star Fox style instead of Zelda Style, also the story telling is much better, having Fox Crashland after an EMP on Sauria instead of casually landing opens up alot more character building and interaction story wise
Well, I would say that in an official game it would be a good idea to also include some on foot sequences. Adventures and Assault had a good idea in that. Adventures just had too little Arwing and Assault had somewhat wonky commands, but the idea of having the crew act also outside the ships was good, especially in Assault in the missions where you could change vehicles on the fly. It adds gameplay and story variety. I am also not against the idea of having the walker function of the Arwing from Star Fox Zero and 2 again for at least some missions. Unfortunately it is not possible with the engine of Event Horizon.
Danger!!! In case of Sharpclaw reach the Early/Early Mid space age in your universe I will authorize the use letal force against the rogue tribe and all their proxys. Recommendations use the Star Fox team or Star Wolf to fight the skirmish battles, also look for strongest warriors among Sauria to be your allies and finally unite all Tribes to fight off General Scales in a open field.
I see the video mugshots have been tweaked a bit. But it looks to me like it still needs work. But other than that, I'm glad this level is fully voiced.
Given it's being implied that Sheers is giving them all of this tech, it makes sense, especially since it's mentioned they look like hobbled together Venomian ships.
It's a bug in the engine itself that's driven me crazy, I've been bothering them about it for months now. It seems to be related to the rate text appears in the dialog boxes. Lots of people requested the text appears faster and it made this bug way more noticeable now.
This looks like itself Shaping up to be something really special. One thing though, I’ve noticed there aren't any things transmission sound effects when the characters' portraits appear/disappear. Do you plan to add these into the game in the future? I really like the transmission sound effects from Starfox 64 in particular. I feel like the dialog sounds a little too "clean" without a filter or compression of some kind. Can't wait to see the next level!
I originally had both the radio-in and radio-out effect as well as radio filter on voices but many people complained about it. The tutorial level still has the filter on James' voice.
Yeah, sorry😅 As stated before, I went into this doing a Slippy-type voice for an Aquan Commander. I then read for Slippy on request and got the part. I heard later that the big cheese didn't want the usual Slippy voice, as it grates on the ears after a while, and since then the Slippy voice changed up bit by bit, but it has become lower in pitch. The hard part is and has always been stopping my natural British accent from accidentally slipping through
So the time when the portraits and text should be used in it's full glory during intermissions don't get used yet................. They're none stop during missions and cutting out the view of the star wing etc!? You literally have no clue about design as I said several times there is to much stuff going on in the one screen with the HUD/UI elements.
Nice switch from gameplay to cutscene.
Yeah. Pretty good. 😊

This love letter to star fox keeps getting better and better.

Nice Xmas surprise
Maybe it will release at Christmas in 2030 at this rate, It's gonna be over cumbersome and full of dead weight with how long he has milked it for!
@ScotsmanGamer if they go faster… the one we don’t speak of… will take everything down.

Merry Saurian Christmas!
This was a great gift to see today! Can't wait to knock out the next ones!
This just keeps looking better and better!
Battling Sharpclaws in space. I finally had my wish come true. A great job on this one!
Merry christmas and a Happy new year!
You can hear it Fox's voice...
Merry Christmas.

This was AMAZING! I love the way Peppy is written, the voice acting is fantastic, the mission itself was so creative. Wonderful, just wonderful :)
Merry Christmas! Amazing work as always cannot wait to play this game! Thanks for all the Hard Work and Team! Also the N64 version of Starfox the PC port was released.

Spectacular! The VA work was top notch. A real treat for the ears. Looks like things are coming together nicely.
It's a Starfox Christmas!

Nothing better than enjoying the holidays on the exotic Sauria
Aw man. Now this is how I wish Adventures played.
Can't wait to play the full thing!
So that’s how Fox ended up stuck on Sauria. An E.m.p. From a space battle caused him to have to crash land on its surface.

nice work on the expressions of the models!

Merry Christmas and awesome work!
This is going to be so dope when it is finished. Really looking forward to it. 😀
Man those Sharpclaw frigates look slick
And I just got finished watching the Test Run, what a Christmas Day it is for me
Merry Christmas and GLORIOUS!!!
Great as always ice cream man good job and good luck
I hope to see more of your Sauria test runs get full voice lines soon!
Great voice acting
Great work!!!
This is awesome! Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! 🎉
Merry Christmas everyone, great to be back in the saddle again as ROB! Also 7:12 damn right!
Yes Finally, level with voice acting! Merry Christmas!
This looks amazing. I just hope it doesn't get shut down.
Merry Christmas, and what a wonderful transition from gameplay to cinematic, excellent work!
Amazing job, you guys.^^ Well done.:D
Merry Christmas all
Nice Christmas surprise! Also is that a new version of the Standard lasers/twin lasers I see? because I like this type better tbh

Woaa Sauria will take place years after Andross?
Wild
Wonder if this will still end with a Shears led resurrection of big headed Andross

Bro, I wonder how Star-Blade would look in this.
Should the Sharpclaw realistically have any zypher drives? I was under the impression they only operate on Sauria and its orbit.
Given it's being implied that Sheers is giving them all of this tech, it makes sense, especially since it's mentioned they look like hobbled together Venomian ships.
They probably have discount civilian ones at best
The portraits when talking seem to be bugged as they start acceletated and then slow down
It's a bug in the engine itself that's driven me crazy, I've been bothering them about it for months now. It seems to be related to the rate text appears in the dialog boxes. Lots of people requested the text appears faster and it made this bug way more noticeable now.

@UndyingNephalim
That's fair, maybe I'm just nostalgic for it.
Would you maybe consider making these effects optional in the future? 🥺
Out of curiosity, how many campaigns will the final product have??
Probably 5.
What is this? This looks good!
Ein Haufen Blutrünstige Sharpclaw mit Second Hand Schiffen gegen die Cornerian Navy wer wohl gewinnen würde?🤣

I don't suppose it would help telling you the intermissions are WIP.
@@codemancz798 Are you part of the "team" doing this???? How do you know???
