this is what you get when a cartoon is animator controlled. a true cartoon. the guys seriously threw every slapstick sound effect at this one and it was gloriously funny.
This is pure gold, a masterpiece from the past by Pat Ventura. The animation style, the jokes (especially the one with the chicken giving "taste" to the soup at the beginning) - everything is beautifully unpolished and funny to perfection. For me, this is a unique style in cartoons with Pat Ventura as their Picasso.
I remember watching this on cable tv aged about 8 and collapsing with laughter when he goes at the steak. Haven’t seen this again until now but I always remember that scene
I remembered Yuckie Duck saying "One slab of moo meat" and that brought me here. And I forgot all about how he brutally murders a hunk of cheese with a knife- surprisingly visceral.
If chef teachers in culinary arts school were to use this as an example of Don’ts in restaurant businesses, they’d remember on how funny it was the. But see the importance in sanitization and maintenance
One EXTREMELY FOUL LIMBURGER CHEESE SANDWICH! Yep! The name says it all! LOL! which is why this restaurant should be shutdown for many Health Code Violations.

yeah I love how the amount of frames is limited so instead of being about fluidity it's about having really really fun and wacky drawings and spacing them out well.
It's amazing to think that all the "Gross" cartoons of the 90's were inspired by Ren & Stimpy, I just kinda figured "Gross" was the way you did things in the 90's...
Funny thing is...here, gross cartoons actually work. Whereas today; gross shows like Breadwinners, Pig/Goat/Banana/Cricket, Teen Titans Go and to a small degree, Sanjay and Craig come across as offensive to the senses
@@d-manthecaptain1382 For me; the RIGHT way to do it came in the form of shows like Ren & Stimpy, Cow & Chicken, South Park and other shows I can't think of right now
@@captain0080 It's weird how back then (for the most part,) this kind of humor was more widely accepted. Whereas today; the gross stuff we've seen on Titans Go, the Powerpuffs reboot and other modern shows just feels...obscene
Even over two decades later, the sound design here is spot-on, creative, and outrageously effective! 2:00 put me into hysterics...I faintly remember watching this when it first aired, and I forgot that they characterized the Limburger's first appearance with the sound of a pack of vicious dogs. The flushing of the soup on the stovetop and the cheese screaming upon being stabbed were fantastic sound choices as well.
That scene of him trying to cut a steak is just the best thing ever made.
I agree, I burst into tears of laughter everytime at that bit.
You'll never see something like that in cartoons nowadays
He is the only person to shoot a gun that fast
this scene has lived rent free in my head for 11 years now
Agreed. A (chef kiss) work of animation! Along with the steak's prep too.
this is a masterful example of slapstick-- perfectly, gleefully ridiculous and funny as hell
It’s the lowest rated of the “What A Cartoon” series. But I guess someone had to like it.
Gross humour too but I love it.

"Animator controlled"?

Yuckie Duck, a duck with human feet xD
I wish this was a series.
Me too. Thee's another where he is a paramedic but this one's more popular. It should have been a series.
*I would like Pat Ventura to make a multi-part animated series out of this, Pat Ventura is a genius in the animation industry!*
It SHOULD have been a cartoon series years ago. Yucky working at the cafe.
Yuckie Duck is voiced by Bill Kopp who did the voice of Eek the Cat, which he's the co-creator of the character along with Savage Steve Holland.
He is the creator of The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show for Disney.
@@meaganh637 He also created Mad Jack the Pirate, which he's the voice of the titular character himself.

The fact that this is so nonsensical is great. The horrible animation style and art makes it ironically charming.

The sequences of Yuckie trying to cut the steak are iconic.
As well as preparing it.
Makes you not wanna dine out anymore does it? 🤮🤮
This reminds me of a lot of current memes, from the sound effects to the zany, fast paced visuals.
When I was a kid this was funny, now as an adult, it's disgusting, makes me barf lol
Lastima que solo hubo 2 cortos.
I have to disagree with you about that, as a child I found it gross but funny and now I am grown up, I find it gross but funny too.
