Have you tried divinity? The bubble makes it so people can’t hide and if you are getting hit by it, you have screen effects and a load of flinch that make it tricky to counter
Tommy’s matchbook is one of the best guns in the game it is so good because look at how does it doesn’t have that higher ofdamage but likeIt shoots so fast and the fire damage makes it so much better
I'm happy you put in Sunshot. I will continue to dumpster people with it. I have a lot of content, but like no viewers or subs. for years now too... could use some views on my destiny playlist. I mean I watch all of yours.
As a slightly biased sidearm main I’d say maybe add Traveler’s Chosen or Drang to the list. Going sidearm v shotgunners has been a great way to teach myself about distance management and use of cover in close to mid range duels.
I think cloudstrike is honestly one of the absolute best snipers in the game. Despite being a 140, that headshot explosion is pure devastation, and I'd argue the archetype makes it so much easier to hit those headshots.
@@who_be_dis8356 I've had times it bugs and doesn't flinch, but most of the time it gets flinched as hard as Uzume for me. The inconsistency on PC makes me frustrated because I'll find myself in duels where I'm way more tempted to try to shoot than reposition because there's a chance I'll be able to shoot through the gunfire.
In my opinion, a weapon in this current sandbox (I say current because of the buff coming in a few days) that rewards skill is Tarrabah. You build a charge that gives an insane ttk by consistently winning gunfights. But the drawback is it requires complete dedication to the weapon. Any swaps removes the only benefit to running it, so you have to keep an eye on how you move and where enemies are to avoid having to swap/die. It’s a weapon that greatly rewards accuracy and awareness, and has a good punishment if you fail.
I got a random Sunshot to drop just the other day. It's hands down my favorite weapon. I know people don't like the muzzle flash and recoil, but it reminds me of a real Dan Wesson 0.44 mag, so it feels good to use.
sojourners tale. if you can learn to hit your headshots and connect on flicks, you will win most if not all gunfights (except the sniper chappie). for a legendary shotgun, it sure feels like an exotic with the right roll
I am using DMT to great effect on console, but don't forget the other skill level up, when to actually ADS with it. Probably less of a deal on M&K, but it can make a difference in controller. Also the iron sight on the Dead Man's Revenge ornament is more friendly than the base weapon's sight. You're trading a lot of cowboy aesthetic in the bargain though.
Dude i had a dude in IB team wipe us 6 seconds in cause we all rushed and he and floated in the air and got like 2 of us with headshots and the lightning strikes killed the rest. I was so mad but like dude respect af
I want to love the sun shot. The feels squishy. Between the 'wet' noise it makes when shooting and the visuals. Makes it tough to get behind. Thoughts?
I don’t have the clip (I do have the screenshot of the score board after). But I got a Rumble “We Ran” running messenger/duality/LFR. Prolly one of (if not the) best game I’ve had
actually about Last Word, i’m pretty sure you can get a bit of ghost bullets, i’ve shot an AFK player and sometimes the bullets just fade into the void, hence why cammycakes recommends using a HC targeting or lucky pants since it regains some of that consistency and adds accuracy
I was using the crisis inverted and was surprised by it, its a legendary hand cannon no one uses, and I was doing 70 damage a head shot, and it had range comparable to ace of spades if not better, and since it’s a legendary, I could slap on the full auto mod, which btw that adds a little firing speed, so I was just destroying people with it
In general, I think that quick swapers on bows needs good timing and a good skill. I don't know if it's different on PC, but at least in control it's even harder to dominate. I agree that is pretty frustrating to be killed by one but it needs a lot of practice to doing perfect
You said that the sunshot isn't too hard to get good with,& I say that's an understatement..lol.. After I bought mine from Xur a few weeks ago.I wasn't expecting much out of it to be honest.I was just thrilled to finally be getting my 1st exotic Hand Cannon. I was excited to try it out so I equipped it & dropped into SkyWatch on the Cosmodrome to insure that there will be plenty of enemies for me to see if it'd be good enough for me to take on a wide selection of enemies that are all crammed inside a tight space without, dying, being forced to flee,or require on a help from a team.
sure it’d work but never in an equal or higher light level activity solo, not even the absolute best ad clear exotics like trinity catalyst or fighting lion would let you breeze through like that
If I'm not mistaken you can still one shot body shot with a single rampage stack on a LFR, which makes it preferably to adagio since you don't incur the charge time penalty
I see that you were on a hunter wearing Lucky Pants and using Last Word. Would you say it is still usable on a Warlock or Titan with no exotic to give it accuracy or ready speed using MnK.
I’ve gotta add forerunner to this list. I’ve gotten over 3k kills on the thing since it’s dropped and I’ve gotta say that when you get really well with map positioning and tracking heads at mid to long range you become almost unstoppable. Ammo economy is its biggest weakness but being able to pace shots and conserve ammo from accurate 3 taps at a competitive .60 ttk up to 50 meters makes it a menace. I feel like no one uses it anymore but I would definitely recommend giving it a second opinion. It’s criminally underrated.
I'm very sad lumina is not on this list. As much fun as it is to body shot with high impact reserves or even use another primary like a scout to three tap from far away I really see nobody using it to proactively heal team mates in gun fights. Considering how easy it is to get the first noble rounds you can have a team mate start a duel and the enemy will be shocked to see your ally suddenly at full health. Ducking behind cover when I'm low I always look for team mates to spam my shots into help turn the fight around. Blessing of the sky can also help your shotgun or fusion rifle hit better at range or consistency. You can even bounce the noble rounds off the walls and have them heal teammates while you're in complete safety. Nothing is more satisfying than uno reversing a gun fight for a teammate. The amount of friends and positive messages is amazing. not the mention It's upcoming buff in the next season. Since I got 5k kills over before the season I hope more people can get into the healer subclass since it's very rare but the most exciting fun I have and keep playing in this game. Please give it a look! I'm going to make a guide really soon!
In my opinion, learning how to use a rapid fire pulse, *ahem, ahem* darkest before, is really rewarding. I love mine and I tick off all my friends when I use it in private matches. With a good consistency roll, it can do numbers
I don’t have a clip but I cought someone mid slide my n the center point trying to cap on Javalin-4 he slid out of cover with chappy I got a single shot off and apparently got a team wipe with cloud strike. Iron banner makes people crazy.
Personally I found the last word was hard to master when it first was changed to have its main damage on hip fire but I find the gun so satisfying to use still
It is hard, you really do swap your playstyle with it and learning how to pace your shots vs go full auto with the gun is another big change. My favourite gun still, just so much satisfaction from going on kill streaks with it.
My only 50 killstreak game ive gotten was a 60 K/D game with triple grenade launchers. And that 4 days before they added the 50 killstreak medal and i havent gotten it since
I mastered fighting lion a long time ago, I have almost 3k crucible kills on it and its what I used to get mountaintop, I have a separate one for pve so I dont ruin my kill tracker too
I've been running tommy's recently using bottom tree nova and more recently bottom tree dawn, and they've been working pretty well together, any warlocks who wanna pick it up for a bit, give it a shot
@@edwardlilley1705 devour's a ton harder to activate in pvp now cuz you cant eat the grenade. but running empowering rift and child of the old gods might be good?
Don't hate on the Last Word, even on controller. I've swapped from Ace to Thorn to Last Word and have slowly been working on map awareness, gun range and recoil control. I've legit won gun fights at ranges I should have by actually using the map to my advantage and tap firing last word. Like the new map just added, Disjunction. That whole outside area with all those rocks and hills, well who'd of guessed blinking around that area with Last Word makes you a deadly assassin. Like people just can't keep up, most people on that map are using long range weapons so once you're close range it's over. Also Last Word gives you access to radar and more reliable movement with no strafe penalty from aiming. So you can really walk circles around people while perfectly nailing that 3 hit kill. Once you've master Last Word your map knowledge sky rockets, it's crazy how much more I know, from blind spots on maps to close in on campers with snipers to straight up spawn killing. IB Rift helped with that one. Played 50 games and got 600 kills on the weapon. Still think Ace of Spades and such are better but nothing feels better then going on a killing spree with Last Word.
ah, tommy's matchbook is an old favorite of mine. my hand cannon aim has never been great so i used to use tommy's instead of last word when i sniped. paired great with top tree dawn and my (unfortunately sunset) god roll bite of the fox. i should bring them back out to play sometime...
Ngl i was expecting Sweet Buisness somewhere here, what with its reload time compared to mag size compared to ammo necessary to speed up fully, and it being rather rewarding with those fast headshots... its just my take on it of course but i think it deserves a spot here.
Nice to see cloudstrike on this list, the iron banner squad wipes are so rewarding Just wish we could run double exotic weapons in pvp to pair it with hawkmoon

Have you tried divinity? The bubble makes it so people can’t hide and if you are getting hit by it, you have screen effects and a load of flinch that make it tricky to counter
I keep coming back to this video, great tips in here.
Tommy’s matchbook is one of the best guns in the game it is so good because look at how does it doesn’t have that higher ofdamage but likeIt shoots so fast and the fire damage makes it so much better
I agree with the fighting lion and the Messenger being the top 2.
If Sunshot isn't on this list i'ma be piiiissed!
@Duk3 It has worst flinch on PC
@Duk3 that's just.....
Not correct
@@who_be_dis8356 I've had times it bugs and doesn't flinch, but most of the time it gets flinched as hard as Uzume for me. The inconsistency on PC makes me frustrated because I'll find myself in duels where I'm way more tempted to try to shoot than reposition because there's a chance I'll be able to shoot through the gunfire.
I use hawkmoon as my primary exotic and the dead man's as my secondary exotic they are both fun and great weapons.
Frozen Orbit hipfire kills at in-your-face range are why I even play this game. Good vid as always.
Yessss the Lion love 🦁💛
I got a random Sunshot to drop just the other day. It's hands down my favorite weapon. I know people don't like the muzzle flash and recoil, but it reminds me of a real Dan Wesson 0.44 mag, so it feels good to use.
*Dusts off Lucky Pants and The Last Word*
"...And he's here to do some business with the big iron on his hip"
sojourners tale. if you can learn to hit your headshots and connect on flicks, you will win most if not all gunfights (except the sniper chappie). for a legendary shotgun, it sure feels like an exotic with the right roll
I thought i was the only one with adagio on my reeds adept haha. That feeling when you're popping off 5 kills 😍
I've been using the Sunshot for a little bit now and it feels so satisfying to land the 3 tap
Thoughts?
I know cryosthesia won't be here, but I love that damn thing. It's easy to use, but mastering it isn't as simple
I have to say that I love using just about all the weapons you suggested
I don’t have the clip (I do have the screenshot of the score board after). But I got a Rumble “We Ran” running messenger/duality/LFR. Prolly one of (if not the) best game I’ve had
actually about Last Word, i’m pretty sure you can get a bit of ghost bullets, i’ve shot an AFK player and sometimes the bullets just fade into the void, hence why cammycakes recommends using a HC targeting or lucky pants since it regains some of that consistency and adds accuracy
I was using the crisis inverted and was surprised by it, its a legendary hand cannon no one uses, and I was doing 70 damage a head shot, and it had range comparable to ace of spades if not better, and since it’s a legendary, I could slap on the full auto mod, which btw that adds a little firing speed, so I was just destroying people with it
(Energy sword)
1 Mail ability: honor guard = get a over shield after 5 kills.
2: melee attack.
3:Eager egde.
4:element swap
(Soler)
(Aric)
(Void)
Catalyst: crouching Grinch invisibility
600 kills
In general, I think that quick swapers on bows needs good timing and a good skill. I don't know if it's different on PC, but at least in control it's even harder to dominate.
I agree that is pretty frustrating to be killed by one but it needs a lot of practice to doing perfect
Suros is so, so slept on. Whenever I use it, halfway through the match I see several other players switch to it.
Nice to see some love for Suros. It’s my favorite crucible weapon
Fun Fact: I have a frozen orbit that has really good hipfire accuracy. Sometimes I think the *hipfire* is more accurate than ADS.
Very cool concept for a video and execution. Ty. :)
I love the lion in pvp and pve
I love using the adept iggy brings chills to my skin
In my opinion, learning how to use a rapid fire pulse, *ahem, ahem* darkest before, is really rewarding. I love mine and I tick off all my friends when I use it in private matches. With a good consistency roll, it can do numbers
Thanks for giving inspiration to what to use in this meta (:
I don’t have a clip but I cought someone mid slide my n the center point trying to cap on Javalin-4 he slid out of cover with chappy I got a single shot off and apparently got a team wipe with cloud strike. Iron banner makes people crazy.
Sunshot's my favorite gun!!! Your the best pattycakes!!
Personally I found the last word was hard to master when it first was changed to have its main damage on hip fire but I find the gun so satisfying to use still
It is hard, you really do swap your playstyle with it and learning how to pace your shots vs go full auto with the gun is another big change. My favourite gun still, just so much satisfaction from going on kill streaks with it.
i play controller and love last word, ive used it since before I knew i would get hated on. i also love jotuun.

That Lego Yoda scream got me lol
My only 50 killstreak game ive gotten was a 60 K/D game with triple grenade launchers. And that 4 days before they added the 50 killstreak medal and i havent gotten it since
I mastered fighting lion a long time ago, I have almost 3k crucible kills on it and its what I used to get mountaintop, I have a separate one for pve so I dont ruin my kill tracker too
I've been running tommy's recently using bottom tree nova and more recently bottom tree dawn, and they've been working pretty well together, any warlocks who wanna pick it up for a bit, give it a shot
Smart, with devour that could be filthy.
@@edwardlilley1705 devour's a ton harder to activate in pvp now cuz you cant eat the grenade. but running empowering rift and child of the old gods might be good?
Hawkmoon and Serjourners Tale is my currently main loadout.
I thought you were done with falling off the cliff? My image of you is shattered, shatter I say!
Thanks for another top notch video brother.
I started of with LW on mnk but i went back to controller and its even better
Actually just got my first We Ran last night using Suros on dual speed mode
I'm a MnK Last Word user. And I love the weapon although it makes me sometimes feel like a masochist.
TLW is great on MnK, for me its feeling super crispy and dont get why people say its that bad because I get quite a lot of great clips with it
Just slayed out in trials with cloudstrike today, was a fantastic time :D
ah, tommy's matchbook is an old favorite of mine. my hand cannon aim has never been great so i used to use tommy's instead of last word when i sniped. paired great with top tree dawn and my (unfortunately sunset) god roll bite of the fox. i should bring them back out to play sometime...
Gonna be honest, I'm the complete opposite, my tracking is horrible, and my flicks are great, so I use tommy's d
so I can get better with them
My face when I'm watching this and see "pattycakes defends Antonio Margheriti" at 3:43......and I'm Antonio Margheriti....Thanks for the save bro.
Glad to see sunshot here. My second ever exotic, one i still use consistently, hella underrated
Huckleberry with catalyst goes crazy in 6s just target swapping with rampage and refilling the mag
Ngl i was expecting Sweet Buisness somewhere here, what with its reload time compared to mag size compared to ammo necessary to speed up fully, and it being rather rewarding with those fast headshots... its just my take on it of course but i think it deserves a spot here.

Pattycakes: *Dies*
Shaxx: "I've seen enough." 😢😔
I’m gonna do the fighting lion one since I’m trying to get my catalyst done for witherhoard.
Nice to see cloudstrike on this list, the iron banner squad wipes are so rewarding
Just wish we could run double exotic weapons in pvp to pair it with hawkmoon
double exotics in pfp would be so nutty. if you want a damage boost on successive headshots, try out a focused fury hc
@@38mb.Checked and there aren't any stasis/ kinetic hand cannons that can roll focused fury :
@@mysteriousjess. aw man rip. hopefully theyll add 1 soon
@@38mb. That being said, 120 hand cannons still hit really hard and are pretty nice to use
@@mysteriousjess. honestly i think 140s are overall a better option now, especially Ace cuz of the perma-killclip perk it has, but 120s are still a solid pick.
150s WOULD be good... if sunshot wasnt *the only 150*
