Love the Ned Rig. My buddies mess with me all the time for throwing it here in Central Florida, but it produces! My personal favorite hook for the Ned Rig is the Monsterbass Sabertooth EWG Ned Head.
I've tried it in muddy bottom ponds, and it's not great. But neither was pegging a bullet head soft plastic. It is more efficient on harder bottom surfaces, like rocks, harder sand bottoms with lay downs. But I'm new to ned rigging, so take this comment with that in mind. I enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing!
i agree with you that the ned rig is a smaller version of the shakey head using a lighter weight enjoyed the information and the different ideas for the plastic and the weight
My best ned rig experiment was and is taking a TRD or big TRD after it's caught several fish and the salt is gone, and cutting the majority of the worm into 4 tentacles. Just leave enough solid for threading on the hook. It looks flat out ugly, but those tentacles undulate like crazy and some days that old sliced up worm caught the most and biggest bass. It's like a Ticklerz gone wild!
I will say a hop swim kinda retrieve works my wife whips my behind in anytime I take her out cuz she don’t have patience but it works whatever retrieval she uses lol
I'm kind of a Ned Rig purist... A Ned Rig is 3.5" long AT MOST, and the head is 1/16oz AT MOST. Anything longer or heavier is just a plastic rigged on a jig.
The 2.75" ZMAN TicklerZ provide the best features of the Hula StickZ and Finesse TRD combined.

Awesome, in the central east part of Florida here. Closer to the home of the Daytona 500.

I love the ned rig! Thanks Debo. Those nedlockz ewg hooks are the bomb
Love hearing tips from the Debo.
I’ve been mostly ultralight lately, so I’ve been playing with zman and mule fishing micro Ned setups.
Debo is the man with the solid tips 👊🏼
Love the ned. I’ve really been getting into using a BFS combo instead of a spinning reel though. The Ned is perfect for BFS.
Thanks Debo. Love this video. Never tried the ned rig but I will now!
Good video DEBO. I caught a couple on the finesse frog straight out of the package from the box. Got the footage on my MB unboxing.

Great video Debo!!!!
I like that Z-Man green pumpkin goby that's a fire color
The ned rig is my number one smallmouth bait for creeks. Savage Gear makes the best ned rig baits imo
Yooo Debo is the shit!! If it ain't chartreuse, it ain't no use!!
What color is that ned plastic on the purple head?
I was wondering the same thing lol I'm such a sucker for purple
He may have poured it himself
Just wondering what model of st criox were you using. I looking for a Ned rod

I love how Debo shows the bait from all angles Nd dumbs it down for us hillbillies lol go UK Wildcats and Hawkeyes too!!
Darn it ' and' not nd sorry Deebs lol
Drag it across the bottom, so you know what a rock feels like and set the hook on everything else.
Rigged With A Zoom Speed Craw Is 💰
I yo yo after the fall
Easiest bait to fish just cast it out and bring it back to you. Dosen't matter how you fish it back it gets bit!
