Thanks for the great content! It’s always appreciated when you teach to fish your own way. 100% agree that you can mix and match and still be successful.
Thank you Debo, great info as always for all of us peasant bank anglers!!!! I always prefer using the EWG weedless ned jig, I'm glad to hear that it is the one you use the most as a bank angler.
Hey Debo, the Ned is a great way to catch fish & as you showed there are a ton of options for this rig. Excellent breakdown. I’m really wanting to get more into throwing the shakey head. I have plenty of rigs for it, but would love to learn more on how to use it. Would appreciate your take on it👊
Love chucking the hula stickz on a zman finesse bulletz head. Definitely sneaks through cover better than the traditional ned head. Great channel. Greetings from South Africa
Tip 5 was great. I wanted to fish it more but never do because of all the gunk and slime. That's what I needed to hear to give it more of a shot! Thank you Debo!
VMC makes a swinging ned head and started using them last year. For me it was a game changer and don't even look at the traditional ones anymore. The swing head help keep the baits afloat and presentation looks far better ten the other ned heads. Highly recommend it.
This is awesome! I need and will be using the Ned more this season. My usual go to has always been a chatter, Spinner Bait or Jig. The ned i finally got more that are EWG so i dont lose them as often 😀
The new Rapala Crush City Ned’s are awesome!!! Been fishing Ned’s for over 15 years and highly recommend carrying some pocket knockers to help unsnag. It’s easy and cheap to make your own. Also using a 3000 size reel helps with casting those lighter weights.
Ned rigging and flipping caught 90% of my fish last year. It’s my 2 favorite techniques as of current. I used to be strictly a lipless and cranking guy but then with these I caught a lot more fish! The pattle tail is good on a bed rig, I throw a 2-3inch mister twister sassy shad and it’s one of my favorites to use.
Good morning Debo, I know this is off topic but I just wanted to let you know I just came across an old Ryobi v mag. My son in laws father passed and it was in the trunk of his car . Thanks to you I got that thing running like a champ ! Taking her out Sunday. Keep up the good work. Jerry from Missouri.
Love the ned rig...now. Didn't before I fished it in a tournament on the Columbia River, and we caught a shit ton of fish. Great tips Debo. EWG hooks are definitely the way to go. ✌️😎🎣
Dude, one of my favorites of yours lately! For a “simple” concept you loaded this one up. Makes me wanna get the ned out asap. Also just picked up one of those Miravels. Excited to use it.
Great vid as always Debo! I like to use the zman finesse bulletz when the grass starts coming up, same hook as the nedlockz EWG, but a pointed head that comes thru grass like butter. They are getting harder to find tho 😢
Like I commented on ig, the ned was the deal on Monday catching the early prespawn fish. Need to find a good ewg that's meant for non zman plastics because those eagle claws are exactly like you said, only good for zman.
I think that's the Savage Gear craw. I got a few different sizes but haven't caught anything with them. I didn't have a big enough EWG ned hook. Great video, I'll be playing with ned rigs for for sure when spring comes around.
Cool video, love the fact this is very bank fishing based. On a side note what are your thoughts on big swim baits like a 6in Magdraft or the 5 in 6th sense trace?
I rarely use the ned rig but I should. No lie, I’ve had a lot of catches or big hits first cast in the morning Ned rigging rabid baits fox tail and the Dudley pre rigs from Wally World
Hated the Ned for a long time, easily the most consistently snagged bait I threw. So frustrating constantly breaking off and re-tying. The EWG option has been the complete redeemer of the ned for me, small change huge difference. And I’m honor of the Dizzle, don’t forget to give the googie rattlin ned a toss, love that little rattle in a do nothing slow drag retrieve.
Debo, one of my favorite ways to catch on a Ned rig is on the fall. They spy roll down and boom! Problem is, is that it’s a hard bite to detect. I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Imo most medium power rods dont cast light neds well and larger reels also prohibit longer casts. I always suggest a medium light rod with a 1000 to a 2000 size reel. You can throw from super light to heavier neds on it and also fish a lot of other finesse techniques like a drop shot, spy baits, and so much more. A good ml has plenty backbone to fish in any conditions. Pros use them on the great lakes catching 8lb smallies in 50 foot of water during heavy winds lol.
Debo turned me on to a Ned rig, and the Texas bass in my catch and release ponds love it. It has never missed in two seasons.
Always a pleasure. Got my wife a dedicated Ned setup, so I’m hoping she has a good experience and wants to fish more 😆.

The Debo custom looks amazing. Thanks again for a great video.
Ned rig is my confidence bait. Love the Mr Stubbs cameo!

I started using the Ned Rig this year about a month ago. Awesome bait. It's one of my go to rigs.
Great video Mr Christian! Who doesn’t love the Ned Rig? Love the Mr Stubbs cameo!! 😊
Tip 5 was great. I wanted to fish it more but never do because of all the gunk and slime. That's what I needed to hear to give it more of a shot!
Thank you Debo!
You always educate and entertain us Debo and we appreciate you.
I love the Ned rig! The TRD tickler is fire!

Love your content my dude! You've helped me leaps and bounds. Ned is undeniable. Haters will hate but Ned gets it done
This is awesome! I need and will be using the Ned more this season. My usual go to has always been a chatter, Spinner Bait or Jig. The ned i finally got more that are EWG so i dont lose them as often 😀

Great overview of Ned rigs! Love a 1/8 oz with a TRD Ned! The skirted jigheads also are a great option too!
Thank you for the tutorial on different hooks to use! This was very helpful.
Great tips Debo. I like a TRD but also like a hellgrammite especially in creeks and rivers.

That Debo craw rig was definitely🔥 7:05 🔥 I've always had good luck dragging the Ned around. Great video!
Those eagle claw meds with the soft plastic keeper I love those that’s what I use for my small swim baits the hooks are really sharp

That's awesome! Have fun with the old reel!
@@DEBOSFishing caught a few 1lb 's it did fine.
Love the ned rig...now. Didn't before I fished it in a tournament on the Columbia River, and we caught a shit ton of fish. Great tips Debo. EWG hooks are definitely the way to go. ✌️😎🎣
Ned rig with a green pumpkin seed twin tail grub has always been one of my favorites. Great video!!
Great video. I'm a beginner/novice bass angler. This was very helpful!
ned rigs a great bait still use the half a zinkerz on a mushroom head. thanks for sharing.
Great video, other videos talk about the Ned rig but never actually show close ups. Anxious to try the Ned rig after listening to you.
Thank you debo for all of the great information I am trying to fine a medium light casting rod
I like to use buoyant worms. (not floating worms.... those don't really float). Northland Tackle has them in their "Eye Candy" line (Walleyes).
Dude, one of my favorites of yours lately! For a “simple” concept you loaded this one up. Makes me wanna get the ned out asap. Also just picked up one of those Miravels. Excited to use it.
Solid work as always. I have great results with a paddle tail as an option. Covers water too!
Man i needed this video as im getting ready for the new tournament year!! Thanks brother💯👊
I definitely don’t fish the Ned enough! Always appreciate your content! 👊🏼
Thanks Debo for sharing your knowledge much appreciated
Can’t wait for this ice to melt! The Ned is the first thing I’m throwing!
Thanks Debo, great little video 👍👍👍
Debo, just shared with some of my feeshin friends! Thanks for mentioning not mixing with other baits!
This is a great video i usually do an fg knot for braid to flouro
I need to fish the ned more often. And love the pibble puppers 🤙🏼
Nikko hellgrammite is killer on a ned in rivers
Love the content. Another great and informative video.
Really helpful stuff! Thank you!
Lots of good info especially the different hooks, need to get some of them ewg's
If you’re not using Braid to a Leader you’re ABSOLUTELY missing Fish.!!!! Thank you Devon.!
What size braid to what size leader would you use on a medium 7 foot spinning setup. I just use 20lb braid. Should I get like 12lb flouro leader?
Ned rig catches bass!!!
Great vid as always Debo! I like to use the zman finesse bulletz when the grass starts coming up, same hook as the nedlockz EWG, but a pointed head that comes thru grass like butter. They are getting harder to find tho 😢
Never thrown a Ned rig but going to try it
I like to use the VMC Tokyo rig with the finesse neko hooks when the bottom is mucky.. Works great with any of the Zman Ned baits.
Debo! Needed this !
I like the mini football heads with ewg. I think do-it has molds for them
Like I commented on ig, the ned was the deal on Monday catching the early prespawn fish. Need to find a good ewg that's meant for non zman plastics because those eagle claws are exactly like you said, only good for zman.
Like the hook tips best
I think that's the Savage Gear craw. I got a few different sizes but haven't caught anything with them. I didn't have a big enough EWG ned hook. Great video, I'll be playing with ned rigs for for sure when spring comes around.
You are my favorite youtuber
Got into tournaments last year… Ned rig is 🔑 shaky head too. Finesse is important and catching them is FUN thats all that matters!
Have you tried the Crush City BLT ned bait yet it’s awesome!!
Hey, I see some of those Purple Death TicklerZ!! They def get bit! I just got some and they were on 🔥
Cool video, love the fact this is very bank fishing based. On a side note what are your thoughts on big swim baits like a 6in Magdraft or the 5 in 6th sense trace?
Great video good stuff
Love the trd craw and hogz but the trd bugz are my deal
There it is!!!
Hey debo is a lure better than crawfish? If so what is the lure for the summer? I fish at a rocky lake.
Got some of those giant trd's they are MASSIVE! geecrack also just came out with elaztek versions of the bellows shad... Potential?
Believe Xzone have some that float as well.
I rarely use the ned rig but I should. No lie, I’ve had a lot of catches or big hits first cast in the morning Ned rigging rabid baits fox tail and the Dudley pre rigs from Wally World
TRD Hogz work great on finesse jika rigs
How does the Kaden 712 do with EWG style heads? Any issues with driving the hook through the plastic?
Hated the Ned for a long time, easily the most consistently snagged bait I threw. So frustrating constantly breaking off and re-tying. The EWG option has been the complete redeemer of the ned for me, small change huge difference. And I’m honor of the Dizzle, don’t forget to give the googie rattlin ned a toss, love that little rattle in a do nothing slow drag retrieve.
caught 7 today on the ned in good ol Iowa
Yees. VMC football EWG jig head works just as well
Debo, one of my favorite ways to catch on a Ned rig is on the fall. They spy roll down and boom! Problem is, is that it’s a hard bite to detect. I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about.
In using this in my local creek tomorrow
Do a swim baits fishing video please!
I remember a long time a go we used to cut yum dingers in had and put them on ball heads….
Imo most medium power rods dont cast light neds well and larger reels also prohibit longer casts. I always suggest a medium light rod with a 1000 to a 2000 size reel. Ughhhh please can it be May already?!!
The last time I was out fishing I tried 3 or 4 different things and didn't get a bite, put a ned rig on and caught like 8 fish.
The only thing I hook is the bottom. What am I doing wrong?
We have too much grass here. Nobody uses a ned rig here. Its texas rigs as our "entry" lure. I've lost so many ned rigs in the grass or logs.
They make EWG Ned rigs
I just don't fish the ned enough! I know it's a great bait!
