Moebius Models BATTLESTAR GALACTICA In 1/4105 Scale

This video shows my build of the Moebius Models 1/4105 scale BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. I used lighting components from Hdamodelworks and the aztec decal set from Acreation models.

I had this same kid professional built from me from the UK. Loved it to death! Sadly it and the rest of my collection was lost in a house fire. I now have a replacement that is the "pre painted" one from Moebius and its not bad. Great detail sir! Happy Thanksgiving from Cape Cod, MA!

Nice choice of music it had a BATTLESTAR GALATICA feel to it all most excepted to see a CYLON raider fly in to the room have a good weekend by your command Bruce

I found the music on you tubes royalty free music page and I thought it fit pretty good too. I need to get around to building the classic series viper and cylon raider kit's that I've had sitting here for a few yarons ;)

TrekWorks it looks great, and you always go the extra mile with the lighting, which I love, it really gives it scale, and for the first time I realised that the structure looks like a boat but with the strengthening ribbing structure on the outside of the hull, I don’t think I ever got that on the show. Reminiscent of the Ark perhaps?

Yes, I decided to build the Moebius kit (had it for years) to get an idea for the overall look on the much bigger model. The big model has tons more raised detail on the hull that will look great with some paint highlighting.

Great work Boyd. Always a show stopper! Did you use the Tenacontrols lighting module for the engines or just blue flickering LEDs.

I just used flickering blue SMD's 0605 in size for the engines and all of the other lighting is just static SMD's. I'm using the Tenacontrols remote control board on the bigger Galactica model I'm working on.
