You made that look way too easy. In the actual tabletop game, the enemy gets a chance to save, similar to if you used a spell with a DC of 8 + proficiency bonus + strength or dexterity bonus.
I don't think I've ever failed it. Though this *May* be due to me having reckless mode on which lets me roll twice for saves.
