Excellent video. I love how you take some of the skills from Nue purchased from the Shady Broker and make it into a demon that can help very helpful in the active party for much of the game. I'm wondering if you have similar suggestions for fusing demons using other demons purchased from the Shady Brokers. Might make a good follow-up video.
You can also fuse Saki Mitama by fusing the Flamis and Aquans elementals! In my case that was easier, as I had everything needed to fuse the elemental demons, which was faster than farming the gems.
I was just wondering but could you fuse Super Pixie with a Mitama (no sacrificial fusions) and add skills like prayer and victory cry while still keeping her all 50 stats?
Pretty much all the others are like level 70+, Daisoujou is significant given how early he is. Matador too, and kinda hell biker - fiend unique skills can be powerful, like matador's red capote maxing agi buff and his melee skill being like a weaker version of yoshi's 8 hit all skill that more recent games love.
Bonus tips for Saki Mitama: Can be purchased from Rag's Jewelry in Ginza. You can cycle his stock by exiting and re-entering his store until he has higher level mitamas. You will need to buy the level 36 or 35 one because the level 37 Saki has Diarahan instead of Mediarama, and you can only get Mediarama via level-up to level 37. You gonna need 2 Jade + 1 Sapphire for Level 36 and 1J + 1S for L35.
I feel your pain. When the HD Remaster first released in Japan the ability to select skills to pass down through fusion wasn't in the game; they added it in a patch after I had already finished >.

Good recipe for an early Daisoujou, which is what I'm looking for. When I played the PS2 original ages ago, I ended up replacing Daisoujou with fully decked out Metatron, Beelzebub, and Shiva (IIRC Shiva had Prayer, and all three of them had Victory Cry, so their MP was just fully recovered after every battle anyway). I expect Daisoujou will be VERY useful for seeing all the other stupid endings though. Ugh.
I actually used this Daisoujou for the entirety of the game after fusing him, including the TDE final boss, so it works not just as an early recipe but one that will carry you through everything.
@@RozalinGaming Sure. I just think there are better options once you've cleared the Fifth Kalpa. This Daisoujou would be especially helpful I suspect for the "Reason" endings which forbid you from clearing the Fifth Kalpa.

Mine in my first playthrough ended up with taru, raku and makakaja. He was an amazing healer and buffer. Had someone else take care of sukukaja and the rakukaja helped keep him alive in places where he was lagging behind in levels and in danger from powerful enemy phys attacks.

I seem to have run into a weird snag during this process. When I was getting the Saki Mitama at the Ginza Gem Trader, I opted for the Level 37 one since that was the one which was needed. However, it wasn't until after I purchased it that I noticed it came with "Diarahan" and not "Mediarama". All the guides I've looked at say Saki Mitama comes with Mediarama at 37 but even after maxing out the one I bought, it doesn't seem to have it. Was this skill patched out or something, or should I have gone with a Level 35 one instead? And what are my alternatives to getting another one (I'm out of Jades to trade)

Daisoujou being the best healer in the game is so funny to me because in the lore, he's this "accept your death" kind of person. Meanwhile in gameplay he can make your party immortal.
The builds I have made videos for are for the HD remaster. The main reason I didn't do more is because I usual do build guides for demons I actually used, and I didn't actually make many demons for the game -- the only fiend was actually Daisoujou.

In the labyrinth of Amala which you reach by going through the amala network (those barrel save points). There are merchants in there that will sell to you if you are of a high enough level.
so i tried to do this and instead of a lvl 39 daisoujou, i get a lvl 40, making the build impossible. im running the quality of death and 60 fps mods on steam, maniax edition. all of the lvls of the involved demons are the exact same as what you're doing. what did i do wrong??
Um, I have two questions. 1. Apart from Daisoujou, which one of the other Fiends would be as helpful as this build you made? 2. Do you think Black Frost is worth keeping with a especial build as you did with Daisoujou and Titania?
For (1) there really isn't another demon quite as useful as Daisoujou in SMT3; and for (2) I didn't make Black Frost because Daisoujou and Titania basically carried me. For reference I used Daisoujou, Titania, Amaterasu, and one other I swapped with Amaterasu based on the situation, though I forget who. The game didn't really present me with a situation in which I felt I needed anything else so I just stuck with those after I made them until the end.

Really easy to follow and helpful guide. I seem to only be able to inherit 5 skills and not 6 on my Daisoujou tho, is there a reason for this that I'm missing?
If you are unable to pass down 6 abilities try having the demons used to fuse him learn more abilities first; in SMT/Persona titles, the number of abilities that can be passed down is directly related to how many the demons in the fusion know.
How long do I have to keep pixie to get the better version with megidolaon? And do I have to have her in my main party or can i leave her out but while carrying her
You need to keep her until close to the end of the game, in the the 5th Kalpa. She doesn't need to be in your active party but you do need to keep her in your stock. Also, you can fuse her away but if you do you must hold on to whatever you fuse her into.
i used my pixie i got at the beginning of the game to make a nozuchi, should i fuse the beginning pixie or keep her normal? some people say to keep her to get an uber pixie. im new at this game btw
If you keep the original Pixie in your stock without releasing it then you can get a very good Pixie later on. Compared to other demons at that point in the game it's not great, but it's stats can help you open certain doors in the Labyrinth of Amala.
@@RozalinGaming okay, so I had the samarecarm. But, the Daisoujou is already level 39 at the point of sacrificial fusion. Meaning, I have to pick prayer or discard it. All the skills you said to select, are available, but also prayer. Would mediarama probably be the best to discard at that point? Then use mp battery to another mediarama demon?
@@vincentgonzalez8363 Prayer will be learned after the fusion is complete so you don't have to sacrifice any of the skills I recommend passing down. It's been too long since I last played SMT3 but Prayer will either be learned once the fusion is finished or after leveling up Daisoujou once; either way, you can keep all 6 skills and then replace Mahamaon with Prayer.
so.. you need to be like level 37 and able to reach the 2nd kalpa of labyrinth? I'm at the assembly of nihilo at the moment.. level 31.. I should just progress the story more before creating this beautiful being. I have a deathstone and I fought best boy daisoujou already so I could create him now but I want the best best version possible..
Is makatora really that good? I think 10 mp donation is pointless and waste of turn since good skill moves uses more mp than that. I'd rather use chakra drops if I ran out of mp. Thanks for this guide tho.
Makatora isn't there to be used in battle, and yes it is very good; Makatora + Mana Refill/Meditation is effectively infinite MP for your entire party.

Cool build, with a nice clean path to get it. Personally, I would replace it with a full Repel/Drain Daisoujou towards the end of the game; once you make one, it can basically carry you through all future Cycles.
Hell no. He has too many openings, and too many good skills you need to keep in order to make him useful. Have your almost any level daisoujou carry you through the first run, and he can do the same all other cycles. If you're gonna do that, better to do it with a late game demon that might only need to waste 3 slots to become incredibly resistant.
Nice video! Just a suggestion, as soon as you start showing gameplay footage in japanaese insert a message on the screen, like "the steps will all be shown in english" or someting like that. I know you warned us about it but many lazy people can leave the video as soon as they see the japanese version of the game. You always create awesome SMT content and more people need to see that.

You must defeat him in the 4th Kalpa and be level 84 to fuse him, after which you must level him up to 86 so he evolves into Beelzebub Fly in order to get the more iconic version.
Ame-no-Uzume, Take-Minataka, and Momunofu are great early game demons! And also Will-O-Wisp if you can recruit it or make a Forneus so you can get Riberama as early as possible. (But I'm not really a great expert on fusion, they just kinda happened and were kickass lol)
i think you reach the 4 kalpa and completed the story where baal decends you can change Daisoujou for futomimi the only annoying part is giving him the right skills but overall a solid option once you reach lv 63.
Changing Daisoujou for Futomimi doesn't seem even remotely worth it. Not only do they serve different purposes, you would lose Meditation and gain worse overall resistances, you would be severely limited in what skills you can teach Futomimi due to it having 4 innately.
@@RozalinGaming you mean the mind/ curse absorb and void nerve or is the reflect expel/death?. my problem with daisojou is that you have to use a lot mitamas to make up for his low level stats once you reach the final dungeon and want to fight lucifer. futomimi already is inmune to death and expel and all ailments, and resist physical. anyway is personal preference i see why you like the monk good content man.
@@panoctic Daisoujou is immune to everything except physical, fire, wind, elec, and ice. The only thing Futomimi has over that is resist physical. So defensively all you gain is physical resist, but you give up Meditation, 6 open slots to pass down abilities, absorb curse & mind, and repel death. And giving up Meditation is huge since that's the main reason why Daisoujou is such a busted demon. As far as stats go, I used 0 Mitama's outside of the one needed in the initial fusion and it's stats were not an issue, even in hard mode. My Daisoujou never died during Lucifer, or really in any encounter for that matter. Using Futomimi is fine as a physical demon (until Lucifer where he's useless) but not as a replacement for Daisoujou.
Nice build my Daisoujou build Is Meditation,Diarahan,Samarecarm,Tetrakarn, Makarakarn,Debilitate,Prayer and last Preach. But I replaced him with Vishnu for extra physical damage to Lucifer. Vishnu build Prayer,Diarahan,Debilitate,Samarecarm,Focus, Pierce,Hades Blast, And Physical Repel. My Metatron and Beelzebub have Pierce and are splitting support skills.

Can’t you get victory cry onto Saki Mitama by fusing Metatron with Uriel, Gabriel, Michael or Raphael to get flaemis? It seems more useful than mana refill to me
This is a build that you can make as soon as level 37, whereas Victory Cry requires a minimum level of 81. By that time you are either close to or have already beaten the game. Also, unless you are casting Prayer all the time in battle for some reason, Victory Cry doesn't actually provide much benefit to Daisoujou.
Wouldn't Debilitate be a much better skill than Fog Breath and Sukukaja? Even if Fog Breath is 2 Stacks, Debilitate covers ALL stats and lowers than. So, I went with that and cleared up another slot and gave him Magidolaon. So, he has an Attack Spell to help out at times. Fused him at level 99 and his final skills are: Meditation Prayer Mediarahan Samarecarm Makatora Debilitate Mana Refill Megidolaon Thank you for the video. Now I need a great Metatron and Beelzebub build, if I can find the videos for them.
1) Debilitate isn't available until level 58 at the earliest, whereas Daisoujou can be fused as early as level 37. Unless you are waiting until then to fuse him, you would need to re-fuse and level him up again for Debilitate. 2) While lowering all stats is nice, it's not really needed until NG+ or the very end-game if you are playing on hard; at which point other demons can do that for you. For the vast majority of the game (and honestly everything really) Fog Breath + Sukukaja is more than enough for buffs/debuffs. As for Metatron and Beelzebub, they basically build themselves. I personally never even fused them as I was content with what my team could do.
@@RozalinGaming oh... forgot that this is an EARLY fusion build for Daisoujou. I did the fusion after completing the Labyrinth of Amala before the Tower. Well either way I got my Daisoujou and think this is spot-on. Ok, but what stats do they excel at? I would not mind for Metatron to have both Physical and Magic reflect shields or maybe Physical and Beel has Magic. What do I need to fuse them and what demons fuse to the demons I need them? I’m about 50% filled in my Compendium.
@@viruschris3160 Beelzebub is an elec + almighty damage dealer learning Maziodyne and Elec Boost as well as the unique Death Flies almighty attack when it evolves to Beelzebub Fly at level 86. Metatron has the unique fire attack Fire of Sinai and only really requires Fire Boost from an outside source; it also learns Debilitate, Makakaja and Tarukaja. To get Beelzebub you must beat him in the Kapla, which you already have, after which there are a number of recipes to fuse him; the most common being Mot x Erthys/Aeros/Aquans/Flaemis. This would get you a level 84 Beelzebub that you would then level to 86 to evolve into Beelzebub Fly. Metatron also requires you to defeat it first and then to do a sacrificial fusion. All recipes requires Micheal + another demon and the sacrifices can be Loki, Abaddon, Surt, Aciel, Beelzebub, Beelzebub Fly, or Mot.
@@RozalinGaming Unfortunately, I’m not able to get other Tyrant Demonsdue to the Deathstones I have. Managed to get a Loki one thankfully, but got stones left. I manage to get Metatron so I can open the door at 5th Kalpa so I can get a better Metatron with Pierce skill. Good to know their elements they focus at.
@@viruschris3160 The game gives you enough Deathstones to fuse all of the fiends multiple times. You can also just purchase them for 100k macca from the neutral-aligned Shady Broker in the 3rd Kalpa. Deathstones also aren't specific, and Loki doesn't need a Deathstone to fuse; only Fiends do.
Since I am on ps2 i didn't manage to get one with all 6 skills unfortunately. But at least i got 5 of then by doing normal fusion then fusion Mitana on him. Only mediarama that I couldn't pass but, hey he will learn prayer later anyway but that exp lost hurt me, not gonna lie.
Didnt expect someone to make build videos since. Its not like you need a build. You just need good demons the null, repel, drain for demons that have that attack.
Daisojou is infamous for being so good, so dam early in the game. Like he said once you fuse a good daisoujou early, he can be in your party until end game amd serve a purpose

Actually, you can get a Saki Mitama with Mediarama without grinding. Just get 3 Shaphires and 1 Jade.

@@FalcFalcFalcFalc If you do a regular fusion with Saki Mitama and daisoujou you can get mediarama. It only took me about 5 tries.

Go to Where the Demi Fiend was born in the amalah link. Enemies drop an item called grimoires that give you experience points.

Unfortunately you have to get the level 35 and level it up. Then it’ll get mediarama at 37.

How cheese is this demon? Like will he make the rest of the game a breeze or just remove a lot of the tedium with dungeon crawling and healing?

For (1) there really isn't another demon quite as useful as Daisoujou in SMT3; and for (2) I didn't make Black Frost because Daisoujou and Titania basically carried me. For reference I used Daisoujou, Titania, Amaterasu, and one other I swapped with Amaterasu based on the situation, though I forget who. The game didn't really present me with a situation in which I felt I needed anything else so I just stuck with those after I made them until the end.

Really easy to follow and helpful guide. I seem to only be able to inherit 5 skills and not 6 on my Daisoujou tho, is there a reason for this that I'm missing?
If you are unable to pass down 6 abilities try having the demons used to fuse him learn more abilities first; in SMT/Persona titles, the number of abilities that can be passed down is directly related to how many the demons in the fusion know.

How long do I have to keep pixie to get the better version with megidolaon? And do I have to have her in my main party or can i leave her out but while carrying her
You need to keep her until close to the end of the game, in the the 5th Kalpa. She doesn't need to be in your active party but you do need to keep her in your stock. Also, you can fuse her away but if you do you must hold on to whatever you fuse her into.
You can even use her or the demon she is as a part of as a sacrifice, just don't release whatever she is in the moment.
Her descendants will always be the first demon listed. Don't get rid of that one and you'll be golden.
i used my pixie i got at the beginning of the game to make a nozuchi, should i fuse the beginning pixie or keep her normal? some people say to keep her to get an uber pixie. im new at this game btw
If you keep the original Pixie in your stock without releasing it then you can get a very good Pixie later on. Compared to other demons at that point in the game it's not great, but it's stats can help you open certain doors in the Labyrinth of Amala.
Where exactly is the samarecarm coming from? I don't believe the sudama/nozuchi/noe/mitama had it when I followed your instructions?
Step 3 starting @ 5:11 I pass down Samarecarm from Nue B. Where to obtain Nue B is explained in the preparation section starting at 2:00.

@@RozalinGaming okay, so I had the samarecarm. But, the Daisoujou is already level 39 at the point of sacrificial fusion. Meaning, I have to pick prayer or discard it. All the skills you said to select, are available, but also prayer.
Would mediarama probably be the best to discard at that point? Then use mp battery to another mediarama demon?
@@vincentgonzalez8363 Prayer will be learned after the fusion is complete so you don't have to sacrifice any of the skills I recommend passing down. It's been too long since I last played SMT3 but Prayer will either be learned once the fusion is finished or after leveling up Daisoujou once; either way, you can keep all 6 skills and then replace Mahamaon with Prayer.

You need a deathstone.
Is makatora really that good? I think 10 mp donation is pointless and waste of turn since good skill moves uses more mp than that. I'd rather use chakra drops if I ran out of mp. Thanks for this guide tho.
Makatora isn't there to be used in battle, and yes it is very good; Makatora + Mana Refill/Meditation is effectively infinite MP for your entire party.

Cool build, with a nice clean path to get it.
Personally, I would replace it with a full Repel/Drain Daisoujou towards the end of the game; once you make one, it can basically carry you through all future Cycles.
You could do that, I just don't think it necessary in the slightest.
Hell no. He has too many openings, and too many good skills you need to keep in order to make him useful.
Have your almost any level daisoujou carry you through the first run, and he can do the same all other cycles.
If you're gonna do that, better to do it with a late game demon that might only need to waste 3 slots to become incredibly resistant.
I'm trying to find out how to fuse him in SMT V but the information isn't available yet.
You have to purchase the paid DLC, "Return of the True Demon", and work through that to gain the ability to fuse Daisoujou and the fiends from SMT 3.
Nice video! Just a suggestion, as soon as you start showing gameplay footage in japanaese insert a message on the screen, like "the steps will all be shown in english" or someting like that. I know you warned us about it but many lazy people can leave the video as soon as they see the japanese version of the game. You always create awesome SMT content and more people need to see that.

It's my first time going through Nocturne but I have to ask, whenever I can get him is Beelzebub good because he's my favourite demon in all of SMT
You must defeat him in the 4th Kalpa and be level 84 to fuse him, after which you must level him up to 86 so he evolves into Beelzebub Fly in order to get the more iconic version.

Here's an idea: How about a video that talks about what fusions would be good to aim for right at the start of the game and why they're good?
Ame-no-Uzume, Take-Minataka, and Momunofu are great early game demons! And also Will-O-Wisp if you can recruit it or make a Forneus so you can get Riberama as early as possible. (But I'm not really a great expert on fusion, they just kinda happened and were kickass lol)
The Nue I bought in the second kalpa is just a regular Nue. Are there two shady brokers that sell Nue?

i think you reach the 4 kalpa and completed the story where baal decends you can change Daisoujou for futomimi the only annoying part is giving him the right skills but overall a solid option once you reach lv 63.
Changing Daisoujou for Futomimi doesn't seem even remotely worth it. Not only do they serve different purposes, you would lose Meditation and gain worse overall resistances, you would be severely limited in what skills you can teach Futomimi due to it having 4 innately.
@@RozalinGaming you mean the mind/ curse absorb and void nerve or is the reflect expel/death?. my problem with daisojou is that you have to use a lot mitamas to make up for his low level stats once you reach the final dungeon and want to fight lucifer. futomimi already is inmune to death and expel and all ailments, and resist physical. anyway is personal preference i see why you like the monk good content man.
@@panoctic Daisoujou is immune to everything except physical, fire, wind, elec, and ice. The only thing Futomimi has over that is resist physical. So defensively all you gain is physical resist, but you give up Meditation, 6 open slots to pass down abilities, absorb curse & mind, and repel death. And giving up Meditation is huge since that's the main reason why Daisoujou is such a busted demon.
As far as stats go, I used 0 Mitama's outside of the one needed in the initial fusion and it's stats were not an issue, even in hard mode. My Daisoujou never died during Lucifer, or really in any encounter for that matter.
Using Futomimi is fine as a physical demon (until Lucifer where he's useless) but not as a replacement for Daisoujou.
Nice build my Daisoujou build Is Meditation,Diarahan,Samarecarm,Tetrakarn, Makarakarn,Debilitate,Prayer and last Preach. But I replaced him with Vishnu for extra physical damage to Lucifer. Vishnu build Prayer,Diarahan,Debilitate,Samarecarm,Focus, Pierce,Hades Blast, And Physical Repel. My Metatron and Beelzebub have Pierce and are splitting support skills.

Can’t you get victory cry onto Saki Mitama by fusing Metatron with Uriel, Gabriel, Michael or Raphael to get flaemis? It seems more useful than mana refill to me
This is a build that you can make as soon as level 37, whereas Victory Cry requires a minimum level of 81. By that time you are either close to or have already beaten the game. Also, unless you are casting Prayer all the time in battle for some reason, Victory Cry doesn't actually provide much benefit to Daisoujou.

Wouldn't Debilitate be a much better skill than Fog Breath and Sukukaja? Even if Fog Breath is 2 Stacks, Debilitate covers ALL stats and lowers than.
So, I went with that and cleared up another slot and gave him Magidolaon. So, he has an Attack Spell to help out at times. Fused him at level 99 and his final skills are:
Meditation
Prayer
Mediarahan
Samarecarm
Makatora
Debilitate
Mana Refill
Megidolaon

1) Debilitate isn't available until level 58 at the earliest, whereas Daisoujou can be fused as early as level 37. Unless you are waiting until then to fuse him, you would need to re-fuse and level him up again for Debilitate.
2) While lowering all stats is nice, it's not really needed until NG+ or the very end-game if you are playing on hard; at which point other demons can do that for you. For the vast majority of the game (and honestly everything really) Fog Breath + Sukukaja is more than enough for buffs/debuffs.
As for Metatron and Beelzebub, they basically build themselves. I personally never even fused them as I was content with what my team could do.
@@RozalinGaming oh... forgot that this is an EARLY fusion build for Daisoujou. I did the fusion after completing the Labyrinth of Amala before the Tower. Well either way I got my Daisoujou and think this is spot-on.
Ok, but what stats do they excel at? I would not mind for Metatron to have both Physical and Magic reflect shields or maybe Physical and Beel has Magic.
What do I need to fuse them and what demons fuse to the demons I need them?

@@viruschris3160 Beelzebub is an elec + almighty damage dealer learning Maziodyne and Elec Boost as well as the unique Death Flies almighty attack when it evolves to Beelzebub Fly at level 86.
Metatron has the unique fire attack Fire of Sinai and only really requires Fire Boost from an outside source; it also learns Debilitate, Makakaja and Tarukaja.
To get Beelzebub you must beat him in the Kapla, which you already have, after which there are a number of recipes to fuse him; the most common being Mot x Erthys/Aeros/Aquans/Flaemis. This would get you a level 84 Beelzebub that you would then level to 86 to evolve into Beelzebub Fly.
Metatron also requires you to defeat it first and then to do a sacrificial fusion. All recipes requires Micheal + another demon and the sacrifices can be Loki, Abaddon, Surt, Aciel, Beelzebub, Beelzebub Fly, or Mot.

Managed to get a Loki one thankfully, but got stones left.
I manage to get Metatron so I can open the door at 5th Kalpa so I can get a better Metatron with Pierce skill.

@@viruschris3160 The game gives you enough Deathstones to fuse all of the fiends multiple times. You can also just purchase them for 100k macca from the neutral-aligned Shady Broker in the 3rd Kalpa. Deathstones also aren't specific, and Loki doesn't need a Deathstone to fuse; only Fiends do.

Since I am on ps2 i didn't manage to get one with all 6 skills unfortunately.
But at least i got 5 of then by doing normal fusion then fusion Mitana on him.
Only mediarama that I couldn't pass but, hey he will learn prayer later anyway but that exp lost hurt me, not gonna lie.

Didnt expect someone to make build videos since. Its not like you need a build. You just need good demons the null, repel, drain for demons that have that attack.
Daisoujo is legit the most useful demon in the game. Even if you don't plan out others, its worth doing so for him.
Daisojou is infamous for being so good, so dam early in the game. Like he said once you fuse a good daisoujou early, he can be in your party until end game amd serve a purpose
